Lovely food Probably the worst waiter I have ever been served by. Rude, abrupt, no idea about waiting. Had to ask for dead glasses to be cleared , had to ask for cutlery. Delivered wrong order. Interrupted rudely when he had forgotten what we asked for Shocking
Great service, waiter was very attentive and all our courses arrived quickly and together. Food was very decent, I had roasted pork belly which was crisp and delish. Apple tart for desert was no frills yummy too. Not fine dining, but definitely decent hearty grub at a reasonable price.
Pleasant meal, good service, West end prices but not unreasonable. A small group of friends had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. We all went for the specials and the halibut and king Prawns were very acceptable.
Always reliable for quality and value. There with a group of 6 on a busy pre Xmas evening, so service a bit slower than usual, but good. One of the party thought both their courses over salted, but otherwise all enjoyable.
I have lunch here at least once a month, and the food, ambiance and staff are always excellent. Inga and her staff are to be congratulated. See you all again next month.
It is always a pleasure to dine at this particular branch of Cote. It is always buzzing with happy eaters, busy staff and an enjoyable menu. It ticks all the boxes.
As always food was excellent and good value and service faultless. We like this chain and have never been let down at any of their branches. Book-they get busy
We had a very good meal. Restaurant buzzy but nt intrusive. Waitress a little abrupt. A go to restaurant for a de ent meal and good atmosphere
The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived, but we were seated quickly, and the service was efficient. We chose one of this month’s specials - the halibut was beautifully cooked and much enjoyed. One of us had the Tarte Tatin but this was disappointing and not like one we had eaten at the Hotel Tatin in France! Otherwise an excellent visit.
Pleasant friendly service, good quiet table in side part of restaurant, good menu, food relaible and tasty- as expected from cote.nothing negative about our visit.
Great food and service although very busy.. we picked things on their December menu and it was all tasty. Good value for money. I highly recommend
Having visted many Coté Restaurants, usualy the one in Sloane Sqaure, we're pleased to add this one to our list and will visit again soon.
I met an old friend for lunch, which we both enjoyed very much. The only reason I have given a lower rating than I would normally have done is that service was just a little bit haphazard. I also do not expect to see waiting staff having to change light bulbs while diners are eating.
Food choice of Confit Pork was not as good as we have been used to expect. Otherwise service and friendliness of staff was up to the usual standard.
Food freshly cooked, tasty and well presented. Very reasonably priced. Extensive menu. Cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff and reasonably efficient service. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
Lovely atmosphere. The music was in the background, which meant we could actually talk to our friends. And the tables had enough elbow room that I didn't feel obliged to listen in on the conversation next door. A great weekday early special for 3 courses. And simply marvellous food -- including the gluten free choices for my husband and me. They even plated the GF dishes with a cocktail stick 'flag' reassuring us that they were gluten free. Lovely experience all around. Tastefully done, in all respects.
Lovely breakfast formule and nice atmosphere in this branch just off Marylebone high street. Poached eggs were amongst best we’ve had. The value for money (£10.50 for a full hot breakfast including juice and coffee and toast) would be hard to beat with this quality.
Poor service with poor quality beef which was poorly cooked. The waiter had to be requested to take the order which included one side order of green beans. The cote de boeuf was served rare instead of medium rare and was very fatty and therefore inedible, The side order never turned up with the mains and the waiter ignored the table to the extent that the host had to attract his attention.
Had a lovely meal here. Very relaxed atmosphere. The food was really good. We ate off the fixed menu which was great value for money. Highly recommended.
Excellent service as always. Coffees and hot drinks do take a while but the breakfast is superb. Highly recommend for a weekend brunch. More staff probably needed
Very slow service (2.5 hours for 2 people from start to end...) and they tried to charge me for a free birthday gift! Not great.
We had an excellent meal at a nice quiet table for the six of us. Good service and an all-round pleasant evening with old friends.
Brilliant, thank you. Great food and we loved the gluten free menu. Delicious steak frites!! The service is always so good as well. thank you
The food was very tasty, as usual, and the staff were very pleasant and attentive. No one rushed us out even though we were one of the last tables to leave😊
We had an amazing meal at the Cote last night, although we arrived rather late due to traffic congestion it did not matter at all and the staff were wonderful about it. Delicious food and the dessert of crepes with Grand Marnier and ice cream is not to be missed.
The service was very poor and at timea argumentative. Portion sizes also small, especially for the sides. Other testaurants in this chain much better, steer clear.
Most enjoyable visit, staff were friendly and attentive without being overly fussy. There was a very good range of choices and when the food came it was perfectly cooked. All in all an excellent experience. Looking forward to the next time I am able to visit.
We went to cote brasserie with my work colleagues, we were a group of 6 french people, the food was actually amazing and the service was very good as well! We all had a great time ! Thanks côte!
Excellent meal and great service as usual! A very pleasant evening!
Please can you retain the Breton chicken salad permanently on the main menu as this dish found favour from one of our party . Thanks you
Good value restaurant. Pleasant, efficient staff. Need a disabled toilet on dining floor. Food well cooked and tasty. In easy walking distance of Madame Tussards.
Very enjoyable meal. Excellent service. The six of us had the 3 course deal before 7 pm. Plenty of choice, very good food well presented. House wines very good. Price was very reasonable. A very enjoyable evening. Thank you.
Excellent food and service. Delayed serving dessert meant I gave 5 rather than 6. The set menu offers amazing value for money. Thank you !
Marylebone is always good. The Manageress is always pleasant and remembers my name which is a plus. The service speed has greatly improved in recent months. The food is always very very good vale.
We were given a table in the quieter part of the restaurant so were able to have a conversation. Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
Overall the experience was quite nice. Our food was lovely but really very cold - almost fridge cold (not good when we're talking eggs benedict which should be served hot). Service was ok. Prices were very reasonable.
For the first time we tried the prix fixe menu. Firstly, it was a very good range of choice for all courses. We were both very pleased with each choice, imaginatively and well prepared without exception. Service was very good and very friendly. Great value. Has to be a 6!
Excellent fixed price menu with good choice. Couldn't resist having the pudding for £2. Very helpful staff. Great value for money in an excellent location.
We had such attentive staff in a very relaxing atmosphere away from the madding crowd with excellent food and wine for lunch. Thank you Cote.
Much of the food lacked proper tatse. Also it is petty and confusing to serve the parfait with chutney on your main menu and only with small gerkins on your fixed price menu. This is not acceptable and verges on deceitful.
very poor starter; langoustine was just breadcrumbs + ++. order for badoit water forgotten otherwise good pork and rocket. Wine good Macon Villages not cheap
Always made welcome, food very good and lunch and early evening menu very good value for money and good selection of choice. Nice atmosphere. A natural meeting place for a group of friends
Good food, and not on overladen plates, and attentive but not fussy service. This was a pleasant meal and the staff were very accommodating when I wanted to change a table near the door for one in a quieter spot.
The waiter forgot to take our drinks order but otherwise a good experience. Food was good and reasonably pried and wine was good when it arrived.
Great food and staff. Always a great experience. The set menu is great value and the atmosphere is great in the restaurant. Would definitely visit again
Nice atmosphere and nice food on the set menu. Staff seemed in a hurry to clear plates even when we had not finished eating all the shared food!
Very nice and prompt service. Excellent menu and food. Very busy and perhaps a bit noisy. The table was close to the neighbouring diners, more space would be welcome. I will come again.
Very friendly and overall good service. One waiter forgot to bring our wine and had to be reminded. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time. It was then brought very quickly.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Staff were very attentive and we will definitely return.
a long-time favourite, ever since replacing Odins. Comprehensive menu, charming staff, and always a reliable eating experience. All the Cote branches conform to the same high standards, but this remains a favourite "local".
