Côte Marlow

The service was great at the start of the evening but an hour in an we were struggling to get the waiters attention for drinks. It wasn’t even that busy.

We experienced great service the team were friendly, attentive and efficient. Food was tasty, appropriately portioned and good value for money. The ambience and environment at the Marlow restaurant is perfect.

Made to feel very welcome on arrival. We had a lovely tasty meal at a very reasonable price with good service. Perhaps a tad over zealous in 4 different staff asking how our meal was.

Good food with a variety on the menu and very good service. All the staff were very helpful even though they were very busy at lunchtime.

Good service. Good food at fair prices. Very enjoyable. Chose from premium set menu which had good options and was good value for money. Would recommend.

Great food, great service and wonderful value for money, as always. Cote has a winning formula, and a good range of choice on the menu. Will certainly be back.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It would help if they had stirrers for things like tomato juice having added the Lee & Perrins, tabasco etc. A straw was accepted. Unusually the staff were a bit forgetful. My gluten free menu took ages as did my side order when I had almost finished my meal. I have always enjoyed my meals here. I think it must have just been an off day. It won't stop me returning.

Very quite Bank Holiday Monday evening. Unfortunately they got our order wrong. My husband ordered French Onion soup as a main course it came out with the starters, when we explained we had ordered this a main it was taken away, they then forgot to bring it with main course! Otherwise the food was good but as the restaurant was quiet you would have expected the orders to be correct.

Excellent fish stew, friendly and efficient service. Always a good place to eat. Only issue was with dessert but that was rectified immediately. I’d recommend it.

We had an excellent very friendly and patient waiter, a pleasure to meet. Great service and food was pretty good. Loved the booth seating we good too.

Made very welcome as we arrived. Attentive service. We chose from the set lunch and the food was very good. Well prepared and served. All in all, a very enjoyable lunch.

We have eaten at various Cote restaurants before, however we both agree that this was the best meal we have had in one, up until now. In particular, my Swordfish special was excellent.

Food really good. Excellent value for money. Staff attentive but not intrusive. This is our second visit and look forward to our next. Creme Caramel best.

Had a lovely evening. We were greeted with a glass of champagne each as it was our anniversary! Steak was cooked to perfection! Well done Cote!

The food was good, as ever and as I've come to expect from Cote. Although service was friendly, it was not very attentive or prompt; it would appear this was because there were too few waiting staff. The restaurant was noisier than my wife and I would ideally want; perhaps some soft furnishings to soak up noise would help.

Really enjoyed a great breakfast. Food quality excellent and service was good. Definitely will return. Thought that the breakfast deal was very good value with drinks included.

Food good as always. Big improvement in hospitality and service since my last visit - looks like a lively new manager has made a significant difference.

Had lunch today with family. We had a very nice meal and we all liked our food choices from the a la carte menu. See you again.

My wife & 1 use your Marlow restaurant almost every week, the standard is always very good - I do find it difficult to find different ways to give you the same message, hence I don’ t write a view after each visit.

A very quiet night due to the rain but as ever with cote really good well priced food and wine and the usual excellent service.

Not the best Cote in terms of location and staff and lots of local competition. Decent breakfast but staff and atmosphere not great. They are trying to improve.

On arriving at the restaurant we were warmly greeted and taken to our table, of four, and offered drinks. This all went well. We then ordered our food, again all good. After that the speed of the service went down as we waited 30 minutes for the starters and then they served one of the starters which we didn't order, so we had another delay. The starters were OK. Onto the main course, again there was a long wait. One of the dishes was Beef Bourguignon. Where was the beef!! A very poor dish indeed. My friend was offered a free desert which he took but didn't really want it, except he was still hungry! Our waiter was very good up to the main courses when we had a different waiter who wasn't as pleasant. Clearly they were understaffed as to the reason of the delays. The food in general was acceptable, but nothing special.

Easy to find with a large public car park next to the restaurant. Food was excellent. Fixed price menu provided plenty of choice at a very competitive price. Disappointingly limited selection of soft drinks but water was provided at the table and topped up as necessary. Staff very welcoming and friendly but a tad over-zealous. (We were asked three times if we wanted to order within the first five minutes, despite explaining we were waiting for friends to arrive.) Cloakroom facilities excellent.

We were well looked after and the food of a good standard. The only drawback was that it was very noisy and even on a round table it was difficult to hear the person speak on the other side of the table.

We love Côte in Marlow, their service and food are always exceptional. It's been over 3 years we are regular customers and not once we regretted we had our meal there.

Good food pleasant staff shame about the service charge for two people!!table of four and over acceptable! . Didn’t want a sweet or a coffee. asked for a exspresso martini.told we dont do cocktails !!

Our favourite place for a celebratory meal! Food is good and reasonably priced. Service informal but not over familiar. A bit noisy when full, but our chosen time is post lunch - about 2.30pm.

Always enjoy eating at Cote - there's something on the menus to suit just about everyone. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Sometimes have the early evening menu, which is excellent value.

We shared a French garlic bread and prawn dish for starters and had chicken for the main with a reasonably priced wine. Excellent food and service. We like the character of Côte and on a Friday evening it was very lively but perhaps a bit too noisy at times.

Unfortunately the quality has slipped. We have been going to this Cote for a good couple of years and returned due to the consistency of good food and service which seems to have unfortunately taken a turn for the worst. It is still however good but would be good to get it back on track.

One of Marlow,s hidden treasures, a great restaurant to meet up with friends for a leisurely lunch. A very varied menu with good value specials and attentive charming staff.

Super friendly greeting at the door followed by attentive and friendly waiters. Food was superb and seemed to arrive within minutes. Overall a vibey atmosphere and great venue. Can't fault it.

Amazing service, so impressed. The man in charge was so happy and attentive and our waiter was also great. Made the evening really stand a out as average service is just the norm these days.

Lovely, welcoming staff. Very apologetic for slight wait for appetizer. Enjoyable meal in a lovely atmosphere. Attentive and professional wait staff made for a nice night out.

The food and service was at its usual high standard. The staff always make Catherine and I feel welcomed and more importantly valued here in Marlow.

Happy, smiling and effecient service, even though very crowded and busy. An acommodating, effecient manager who was just concerned that customers went away satisfied. Excellent value.

We went to Cote towards the end of a busy mother’s day and the staff were still very friendly. There was a very good selection available for both adults and kids. The food was very good and my wife really enjoyed our first visit to this Cote. Certainly will be happy to return and recommend to friends.

Pleasant busy restaurant service a bit slow to what I would usually expect from Cote, despite it not being full. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Great service and sunshine through the windows - what better way to start the day. (Only issue was around faulty gas supply but resolved promtly!)

Food fantastic service a bit slow and some choices from menu were unavailable also the waiter made some mistakes bringing large wine instead of a small one and bringing the wrong desserts but as service was slow we kept what we were given.

As always, a very good experience. Excellent food with a extensive menu for all requirements. The staff are always very attentive and friendly. There is a wide range of wines.

A lovely quiet restaurant with attentive staff. A good range of food which catered for everyone in our party. A go to place for mid week dining.

Very pleasant setting - set menu could be varied more often it appeared to be the same from nearly a year ago I sampled at anotherbranch

Overall nice meal & good service; however my wife's mussels were gritty. Staff were very good and removed them from the bill without being asked. Everything else was fine This is unusual for Cote - never had a substandard meal before.

The food was excellent and the service superb, yet another enjoyable evening at cote. The complimentary kir royale was a lovely touch look forward to returning soon Thankyou

Really good service, friendly and efficient. We all really enjoyed our meals: pork belly and duck breast for mains and creme caramel and apple tart for dessert. I would definitely recommend.
