Please open in Thame! Absolutely love the food at Cote. Genuine French brasserie food at a sensible price with good service. We have visited a number of Cote restaurants particularly Marlow and love the fact that the standards are the same across the group. As I said at the start, please open in my home town of Thame and give the over priced 'White Brasserie' a run for its money!!
There was a delay in bringing one of the starters otherwise everything was OK
Very nicely prepared food, the French onion soup is to die for, service was excellent (Sarah) altogether good value for money and will definitely go again as we live locally.
Nice ambience friendly staff slight hiccup with the starters didn’t all come out together then billed for an extra starter and a bottle of wine that was complimentary so bill had to be re done Creamed spinach was cold and had to be returned
Great meal and service. Restaurant was really busy but the level of food and service was fantastic
Giving all the new experiences in Marlow. cote actually offers a very good dining experience, quality food and excellent service, all in a very nice setting. I would say equal or better for some of the more expensive establishments in the High Street. thanks to the staff for going the extra mile for our on the Spur birthday celebration.
Fantastic evening eating in the patio garden. Excellent attentive, polite service and happy knowledgeable staff used their hospitality skills to ensure a relaxed experience with an individual customer focus. Set menu provided good choices, great value and tasty food. The seasonal gin drink was very refreshing!
As always - great food, great price & a great atmosphere
Breakfast at Cote - great value and perfect service, we will be back
Very pleasant evening at the Cote in Marlow. Only one thing to pick on - that we were charged for the complimentary g&t’s. All sorted out quickly. Otherwise a fantastic evening thank you .
The Cote as a large chain continually produces excellent food great value customer service that’s we come back time and again. We need a Cote in Henley there is nothing to compare , other places over priced and with no choice. Best thing for me is that the staff get the tips which is a fabulous culture in that profession. Be back soon. Dave and jo. 😊
Food was excellent and not too expensive. Service was great and food came out really quick. The only negative is that once we got the bill we were forgotten about, had to wait 15 minutes and then ask someone if we could pay.
Lovely food ,friendly helpful staff , very nice restaurant , never disappointed with this restaurant.
Food was lovely staff brilliant service was hit and miss the manager was fantastic with my wife’s food as she is lactose and gluten free would high recommend this restaurant to cater with food allergies
Food was lovely service was ok but the staff lovely
Excellent food, presented nicely, and served well. Lots of tables but not crowded together.
All staff pleasant and helpful. Food to our taste. Just what we were looking for
Waiters all pleasant and very helpful! Overall a good experience
Had set lunch with two friends. As ever the service was excellent and so was the food. Can highly recommend the asparagus risotto! Very reasonable prices for the quality of food
Excellent value and service as usual. I visit at least once every 3 weeks and never had a bad meal.
I had a really relaxing meal with a good friend
A delightful experience in Marlow. My daughter and I were seated quickly, menus brought and orders taken by extremely cheerful and helpful staff. An ‘off menu’ item was accommodated easily, food came in a sensible time and was delicious. A perfect spot for an al fresco meal during the Summer.
The food and service was excellent as always. A ver y good experience. Some of our party had lobster for a starter and others had it as a main course, both were delicious.
Pleasant surroundings. Consistent quality. Good food brought to your table by charming but unobtrusive staff.
Cote Marlow is really stepping up service levels and food quality. Both are right out of the top draw and are making for extremely enjoyable experiences. Keep it up guys.
We had a wonderful night the food, service staffs knowledge and attention to detail was spot on
Staff were friendly and attentive, we had the Summer menu which was delicious, just one star lost as my mums melon was not quite ripe and her pork was tough. Fabulous rose drunk!
Always excellent service The staff are excellent, friendly and welcoming The food is great and good value for money
First rate as always however lobsters were not the best!!
Great atmosphere excellent fun service very good lunch Thank you
So good, we went again the next day and had different menu items
A lovely evening, food excellent, staff very good and brilliant to be able to sit in the garden.
Nice day, nice food, pleasant stuff. Nice bottle of wine with a friend. Enjoyable experience.
Super relaxed lunch. Thank you to the very kind staff who made my Mother’s Birthday a special day for her. It was lovely to be able to sit outside under the umbrella enjoying the good weather.
Delicious food with excellent and friendly service. Absolutely the best creme caramel
We booked to sit outside in the shade and were offered a lovely table. The service was quick and helpful and the food was lovely as always. We’ll be back.
Excellent food, very attentive service thank you for a lovely experience
Food, wine, service and ambience were all excellent. A lovely evening.
Great food great staff and friendly atmosphere . Would totally recommend.
Booked on the “free bottle of wine” deal knowing that my favourite was one of the choices. On arrival was informed that they were out of Sauvignon Blanc but I could have a Merlot or a Chardonnay. On informing the waitress that we didn’t want either, the Manageress offered a bottle of House White hardly representative of the offer, I declined upon which she then produced a Sauvignon. The ever popular calamari came too quickly and had obviously not been freshly cooked, being dry and chewy. Apart from these two points the meal was good, as was the service.
Lovely food, good service, and a nice setting, good value particularly the formulae breakfast.
A most enjoyable lunch - I have been many times before and will go there again,
We were out for a family occasion and the food and atmosphere was lovely. The waiting staff were friendly. My only two comments that stopped it being 6 stars are that unfortunately there was a sniff of cat wee that kept coming to the table (it was a warm day and the big doors were open on to the patio, we can only assume a cat had sneakily pee'd and it was catching on the wind!) And the main waitress kept forgetting little things like the sugar and milk for our tea and coffee. We didn't mention the smell of cat wee to the staff, I'm sure if we had they would have moved us.
We are never disappointed with Cote restaurants so on our annual visits from Australia, we always go to one. Excellent service so staff training is obviously a priority. Good food and very useful to have early evening low prices. Water always provided and good choice of wines.
Thank you - excellent food as ever ( been 4 times in two months) and can I just say - the service was outstanding. Our waiter was excellent making sure he knew who everyone was to ensure his attention to give them the right meals. He was also very polite and fun and helped take pics You operate a great business but your team put the icing on the cake and make you stand out over other restaurants
The customer service from Armando and Layla was outstanding, personalised and friendly, warm and welcoming. Food was salty (beef and crepes and pork), starters delicious, soup, calamari.
we have eaten here many times, and the staff and always pleasant good humoured. we had requested a window by the bi-fold doors, but unfortunately the table was still in use, the Manager kindly gave us comp drinks and olives to enjoy in the garden, our table was still not ready 20 mins later, but we settled on a booth which was fine. The food was very good, I had the Poulet grille with green beans which was lovely and my husband had the haddock with fries and minted peas. Our only gripe was we felt the crab mayonise had reduced in size. we love this restaurant and the cote at Windsor and try to visit whenever we can
We had a really nice breakfast. Friendly staff and good surroundings.
I love this place, great food, lovely food all served by amazing staff who actually care.
Our waiter was attentive offered us a choice of sitting inside or out. The food was delicious. The gluten free options were lovely. Everyone throughly enjoyed all their food and the drinks. Could not fault in any way.
