Côte Marlow

We were not made aware they had stopped the breakfast menu early due to 'stock issues' until we had our drinks and had to ask. They had also run out of seedlip gin so all in all we did not get what we went there for. A late breakfast with a non-alcoholic cocktail! I must say however the young boy who served us at points was very good, and the calamari was delicious.

We arrived at Cote at 12.30 as we had booked a table for our wedding anniversary. The olives, wine and starters arrived promptly and were very enjoyable. There was then an enormously long wait for our main courses which arrived at 1.30. The waiter told us how us how busy they were but that was not the case when we arrived at 12.30 which was the whole point of an early table. This was our second visit to Cote in Marlow and maybe it is better to sit in the main restaurant instead of the area at the front by the door so you are not forgotten! A little disappointing this time to be honest. No one wants to be constantly trying to get the waiter's attention to ask where their food is.

First time at this Cote location - but well up to the Cote standards I am familiar with, although service seemed little slower than those I am used to in London.

Excellent value for money and extremely tasty good sized portions. Creme caramel was particularly superb!

I am a regular diner at Cote and is consistently good food and value for money. Unfortunately today the steak was very tough and we did not enjoy. All else was lovely. It was such a shame as it was a birthday celebration. The staff were excellent but the poor steak was a let down. Most unusual so I can only assume a different meat supplier? However the other dish was delicious

First time I have been disappointed with food. Both myself and guest ordered soup as a starter and although tasty was so thick it was like heavy stodgy porridge. Neither of us could finish it. Also I booked on line your January offer of £9.00 for two courses, but you have charged us £11.50 per person. Refund please.

As always we had a delicious meal with excellent service

All dishes were fine except for the hachis parmentier which was very bland and definitely a bad choice . Music was not attractive.

We both enjoyed the excellent service and food. Made even better by the free wine which was at the correct temperature and complemented the food (Chateaubriand). Duty manager to be commended for remembering we had been at the restaurant for New Year twice in the last three years.

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food and the nicest staff! That was our night. The Guinea hen, by the way was the BEST dish I ever had at Cote brasserie.

We waited 90minutes for our main course with only olives etc as a starter. When we finally found someone to complain to, we were offered a free bottle of wine which helped bu didn't make up for a pretty poor performance.

I love Cote in Marlow, food is always consistently good and the service is excellent.

Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Food was ok. Felt like the value for money wasn’t really there. The duck which said it was served pink, was overcooked and fairly chewy. Quite basic food for the prices. Would go back, but would choose carefully next time.

Always like going to Cotes Marlow, the food service and atmosphere never let us down!

Absolutely amazing food, service second to none. Only complaint is automatically adding a service charge people should be able to tip If they want and shouldn’t be made to feel uncomfortable by having to ask for it to be removed. Ours added nearly £20 to the bill which is a lot of money on top of what we were already paying

Lovely food as always. Service could have been quicker but it was a busy evening.

A nice warm welcome even though we were running late. The restaurant felt cold though and I ate with my coat over my legs. Parsnip soup and chicken were enjoyed by my friend. I found the haddock goujons a little dry and the fries were not generous. The dark chocolate dessert was buried under a couple of inches of creme fraiche. Not what I expected and no mention of this on the menu. This is a lovely restaurant staffed by very nice people but the food did not meet my expectations.

Wonderful warm welcome on arrival. Service was superb and food delicious. We were a little short for time but the wonderful staff accommodated us superbly. Always a treat to meet and eat with friends there. Thank you all at Cote

Lovely welcome by staff who were very accommodating with individual drinks bills so not to confuse our table of 11 people. Attentive and polite. Food arrived promptly and was of high quality and plenty to eat at a very reasonable price. A lovely ambience in the restaurant. A great place for a special occasion or just a good night out.

Wonderful evening for our son's birthday dinner - service & food were great and the staff made him feel really special.

We had a super early Sunday night supper. Food and service was superb. Couldn’t fault a thing!

We did have a problem with one of out meals, but was sorted out by the manager, who looked particularly stressed that evening. I think he was dealing with more than one problem.

We keep going back. The Cote retains its high standards.

One hour and forty minutes to be served a maim course was not acceptable. The place was in chaos! We will not be returning.

We regularly go to cote to sample the monthly specials, and as usual it did not disappoint. It was very busy and hence also quite noisy, however the staff coped very well. The food was excellent, the dessert especially so, although the side order turned up in a cold dish.

As a regular customer to the Marlow restaurant I can honestly say that we always walk away after a couple of hours completely satisfied with the whole experience. The young staff team don’t stop from the manager being on the floor to the guys/girls running back and forth to get the food out, it’s not easy . Sometimes like with any business staff call in sick or on leave so you may have to wait a little longer, that’s not an issue. Main thing is food great, atmosphere fab,service always impeccable,value for money is the best ,can’t be beaten as you have lovely choices ,waiting times never an issue, noise well what do you expect with lots of people out chatting away that’s normal. So six stars all around see you all soon Dave and Jo.✌️

All good,excellent food and nice and hot,maybe a touch slow. Asked for quiet table and this was made available for us.

Really good value for the set lunch, a good choice and tasty good quality. Dishes were nicely presented and well served. Service was a bit slow, perhaps because it was quite busy.

The only down side, was we had to wait ages to get the bill
