Excellent venue for relaxed breakfasts through to dinners. A favourite venue which is very accessible for my wife who is a wheelchair user. Very friendly and professional staff make each visit always enjoyable .
Enjoyed the food, the service was good and everyone had a good time. Slight issue when asking wether the cider was dry or sweet got the reply "it tastes of apples". Cannot fault the accuracy of that information.
Unfortunately it didn't happen. The friends I was meeting arrived early to find that the whole restaurant had no power. luckily we got a table in a nearby restaurant but I haven't heard anything else from cote brasserie. And it perhaps would have been a nice gesture, given the huge inconvenience, if a drink had been offered while waiting .
Good service and good value from the set menu. The plaice fillets were very good and the calamari tender but slightly overdone. The steak was slightly on the tough side.
As ever great food and excellent service. The 10 year anniversary menu is fantastic bringing back some old favourites. The chocolate mousse remains our favourite dessert
Partner had pate and it was extremely watery and hadn't set. Was given a new one but also was horrible. I had chicken for my main which was bit dry and not much sauce but had ate because I wa hungry by this time. Usually a good meal at cote but this time wasn't great.
First visit for a regular meeting of two old friends. Modern open plan decor with seating along the wall not to our taste. Two young mothers with small children who were allowed to squeal and run around between the tables, also not to our taste, not to mention safety hazard to staff. Starters , Prawn gratinee. Sauce very tasty, prawns hard and dry. Mussels, clearly fresh but had a slight tang to the flavour. Mains. Hadock in bacon. A bit dried out. Veal, also dried out. Creamed spinach delicious. Wine, a bit over priced for its quality. Service, friendly, helpful staff. 12½% optional service change over the top.
We asked for the quietest spot and were seated in a side area. However, the overhead music and background noise ruined conversation. When will restaurants learn that we do not need muzak to help us eat and that all the hard furnishings make noise bounce around? We chose the Anniversary menu because we were celebrating two birthdays. A while after ordering the waiter then told us only one of us could have the crab starter (we had all chosen it!) Could the kitchen not have told him before he took the order what was in short supply/off? Cherry sauce on the duck tasted a bit odd. The Grand Marnier Crepe was a big disappointment - cold and dry. I was expecting a freshly made crepe with flames!
we had steak frites with French beans. Steak and frites were very tasty and good but the beans a bit tough. Good service. Restaurant has a council car park next door which is useful.
Delicious food and friendly, helpful staff. No problem that we didn't want to drink alcohol at lunchtime. We were made very welcome. We will come again.
Great food good value great service . Specials are always good and change each month . Wine lost is reasonable and varied. Go to this Cote at least once a month .
Twas the night before I head into town having a sesh with some mates, I said to my wife, you know what I need some Cote food on a plate. She jumped in excitement at the thought of some mussels This is surprising because thats what have us the shits in Brussels. We booked a table quite early, and vowed to only drink water, This is owing to having an energetic 4 month old daughter. The service was great, the food superb, it was a bonny ol rave. Even our baby sat in her buggy and was extremely well behaved. And when we got home we decided that an idea we would float, We must go back to Marlow and eat once again at Cote.
Disappointed with levels of service as usually we have found this to be excellent across the Cote chain. Staff were lethargic and service was poor despite the retaurant only being about a third full. Also one main meal was served cold and although this was addressed and knocked off the bill it did spoil our experience.
Côte-Marlow offers such good value for money. The atmosphere is perfect, the staff always attentive & friendly. The food is excellent, well presented and delicious. Highly recommended.
Food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and amusing. Good choice from the various menus, and impressed with the gluten free choices. Had a lovely catch up with girl friends. Restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.
Lovely company, we had great food as always and very friendly, cheerful and efficient staff. It's always a pleasure to eat at this Marlow restaurant.
Dishes variable.. Some good, and some disappointing. Generally seems to be going down hill a bit. Staff v pleasant. Some orders seem too be very dry and may have been pre cooked
Excellent service from polite and helpful staff. A most comfortable and pleasant setting outside. Excellent food from the good value lunch menu. The complimentary glass of wine for one of our group with a birthday was a nice touch.
We have never had a bad meal in here and the staff are so friendly ... food always well prepared and hot. Great atmopshere and easy parking.
Enjoyable evening. Food is good with plenty of choice. Well cooked and nicely presented. Staff friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Will be going back.
Enjoyable evening excellent food and friendly attentive staff, great improvement since our last visit a few months ago. Particularly enjoyed veal main course and chocolate fondant dessert.
Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly and prompt service. The chicken liver pate is absolutely delicious. Great wine selection. This is a fantastic place for any kind of get-together.
Lovely meal I had the 25 year anniversary meal and really enjoyed it! Husband had a lovely steak and a lovely prawn starter very enjoyable
Had to ask twice for the Cote Birthday reward of glasses of 'Kir Royal' , This was only provided for the host and not the other four guests. On checking after the visit the offer should have been made offered for the whole table.
Good service and first course was lovely, second was a litle dissapointing.. staff did their best and as always polite and friendly. Good atmosphere and experience
Superb breakfast... helpful staff.. lots to choose from on the menu. Great value for money
