A great evening for a party of 8. The service was prompt and attentive. Despite a wide ranging a la carte , several of us enjoyed the duck. This, as they say on Masterchef, was “ cooked to perfection”. Unusually I was too full for dessert but everyone else tucked into a range from the menu. And the “ house” red was very enjoyable. All in all a great experience. Eaten here many times over past few years and NEVER been disappointed.

Absolutely lovely meal thoroughly enjoyed by all five of us, the service was excellent and was very reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone and we will all be returning in the future. Thank very much.

Food great as aways. A little disappointed that we had to have the Mother’s Day set menu instead of the prestige but good never the less.

Good food and wine well presented by pleasant efficient staff.Choice of menus was fine as usual and the pricing was fair. Thw loos were spotless. We will recommend Cote again to our friends as a good venue.

Good choice of food. Plus very reasonable set menus for 2 or 3 courses. We all had the 3 course menu for £18.95 which was very good and choices to suit everyon

Found Côte by chance already enjoyed Liverpool restaurant so when we noticed in Manchester couldn’t wait to go! Did not disappoint love the starter with goats cheese the Salmon delicious with the sauce. Staff friendly and not overly attentive there when required. Will be back soon

As a regular I’m used to excellent service and again was not disappointed - the food was again of a high standard and the wine reasonably priced - I’ll be back

Excellent service and food. Loved it because of the extensive gluten free options.

As always a lovely meal with professional friendly service.The sea bass was beautifully cooked and a complimentary bottle of wine as regular customers was appreciated. Will be back soon.

I am a great fan of Cote but it didn’t live up to my previous visits yesterday. I had the fish pie but the sauce was quite watery and the apple crumble looked a bit past its best and did not taste very fresh.

This was my first visit and a Mother's Day treat. We were greeted with a smile and the shown three options for seating. All equally comfortable. The atmosphere was pleasing and the other diners seemed engaged in conversation and relaxed in the rather conservative but pleasing environment. The waiting staff are exceptionally professional, their collective attentive nature was apparent from all four members of staff that waited on us. The seating is designed with sufficient distance to hold a private conversation with being overheard, which lends itself to the relaxed atmosphere and on reflection may possibly explain the reassuring hum of conversation. The roasted tomato soup was divine, and my mum visibly sank into a her seat and closed her eyes at the first taste, describing the croutons as little pillows. My calamari was coated in a crunchy coating that was the colour of almond. A lovely surprise after the pasty insipid efforts served elsewhere to which diners now seem to be accustomed. We both had steak for our main. The lush, creamy, porcini sauce was exquisite. A garnish of green beans and water cress lit the plate. The 'rare' and 'medium to well' beef melted in the mouth. The whole 90 minutes was exquisite. Recommended.

The food had a hair in it, the service was actually quite good, I asked for medium/well ribeye steak and it was more like medium/rare, but I was too hungry.

I come to this restaurant regularly and have never been disappointed. The set menus are excellent value for money and very varied. The food is very much what is served in restaurants in France.

Excellent meal in a superb atmosphere following a exhausting shopping trip to Manchester. We were 45 minutes early for our booking but they found us a lovely quiet table. Great experience

Excellent service, great dinner, pre theatre 3 courses £18.95 excellent pork tenderloin with potato gratin, busy restaurant early Saturday night, great staff, all very helpful and pleasant . All round good experience would definitely return.

A very nice experience,we were welcomed at the entrance, shown to a nice table by the window (which I’d asked for on booking) Enjoyed a complementary cocktail whilst waiting for out starters,and when the food arrived it was lovely. One of our favourite places to eat in Manchester.

Excellent food freshly prepared.I would fully recommend this brasserie for a pre theatre meal.

Excellent, marvellous food and not overpriced at all. The only thing is the optional 12.5% gratuity for a staff that is not that thoughtful. They were nice, but not enough to let 12.5% of our bill there. Apart from that, excellent place, will definitely come back

the food was great, the service was even better. although, dinner was bit expansive. maybe that feeling is because we are from Israel and the currency ratio is five times higher. we really enjoyed and we'll back again during the week here for sure.

Service was commendable, but food took a bit longer to arrived, especially the appetiser & the soup that we ordered first! Perhaps you need more helpers in Kitchen! Thx

Lovely food. Staff were efficient and friendly. Nice decor. Very reasonably priced. Was quieter than normal but it was a sunny Bank Holiday Sunday, bonus for us as we had the full attention of the staff.

I eat here fairly regularly as I work nearby. The choice is excellent, especially the fixed price menus, food always beautifully cooked and the service is second to none. Highly recommended.

Constantly great food and excellent service something that is hard to find these days. Set menus are seasonal so nice variety each time I return and at an affordable price.

Lovely selection of specials on the menu and all fave good value for money. Despite a very busy Saturday night the service was very attentive and efficient. Looking forward to coming back when next in Manchester.

Great selection of menues. The earlybird menu offer was a pleasant surprise. Staff were very attentive without rushing us. We had a lovely ‘chilled’ evening after a very busy day. Food and wine were delicious. We didn’t want the crumble to end! Thank you

Delicious French Dining!! The nice and cosy atmosphere of this restaurant allows you to enjoy your dishes in a cosy interior. Try the Fougasse with a nice glass of Sancerre!

Was sat as a table of 4 at 8.30. The waiter was clearly very busy( think his name was Jordan) the food was a little slow, but Jordan was great. Me and my girlfriend had just found out we are expecting so he organised non alc beer, and looked after us very well. When we came to pay we had a different waiter which was a shame as we really wanted to give him a nice tip as he was doing a great job under pressure without help. We will be back to say our thanks to home over the next day or so. Many thanks Jordan 👍

Good value, excellent food, very pleasant surroundings, efficient & extremely pleasant staff and well situated site next to House of Fraser in Manchester! Would certainly recommend and re visit! :-)
