As always the food was up to its usual good standard that offers great value my only complaint is there isn't a great selection for vegetarians

Excellent meal and service with very friendly staff. This is the second time we have eaten in the restaurant and would certainly book again. Look forward to seeing you again soon.

Great experience as usual. We`ve got to the stage now that whenever we meet friends in Manchester, it`s Cote Brasserie to which we go. Friendly helpful and tolerant service. Good food - tremendous value for money.

Excellent service and thefood can’t be faulted. I have been several times and not been disappointed. It is always pretty busy which confirms my opinion.

Excellent and relaxed evening - great food. What was really good is that my husband is coeliac and I have a nut allergy and the attention to detail on this was superb - one of the best places we have been for that level of service without feeling a 'pain'. Will certainly be back!

Third Cote in last four weeks, guaranteed good value, esp on a wet soggy night in Manchester. Knowledgeable staff, mushroom and spinach crepe hit the spot.

Great food, good atmosphere and handy for the Royal Exchange Theatre. Pre-Theatre menu is well priced and you are finished in good time for the evening performance.

Good food good service.All the courses were very tasty..the staff were pleasant and discreetly efficient.The restaurant was busy and the clientele were relaxed which is a credit to the establishment.

Superb food in a lively setting with plenty of buzz. Service was friendly and outstanding. This visit was to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we could not have wished for a better meal or experience. They also do pre-theatre/opera menus at a very reasonable price, although on this occasion we went for the works !

Food was excellent and good value for money. Recommend the fish cakes and mussels Service and atmosphere also very goos nothing was too much trouble.

Visited last Friday 13/10/17 and it was so good I went back Monday 16/10/17. Excellent food and service. What more is there to be said.

Fantastic very reasonable prices staff were great food was excellent I was going to be late I telephoned the restraunt there was not a problem.

Beautiful food restaurant busy but nothing was to much trouble. Atmosphere was great waiters attentive. The acting manager saw to your needs she was very good

A very good bistro meal- tasty, speedy and friendly ( and not intrusive) service, sensible not massive portions so could cope with 3 courses Cost us £22 each for 3 courses and including tip and large glass of wine excellent value and good for post/pre theatre meal

There is a good atmosphere in the restaurant. Staff are polite and efficient. Good choice good and quality very good. Love the duck main, have it most times we visit

Great food at very reasonable prices in comfortable surroundings. So far, so good. But what makes Cote stand out for me is the level of service, not subservient but friendly and professional. I will be returning.

On my own in Manchester and I find Cote an excellent venue code to my hotel with excellent food which doesn't include 'chips!' Good selection with specials - an excellent place to eat if alone.

We had a very enjoyable meal for our family today the staff very very good and the service was excellent and the food was fabulous and to get the completely bottle of wine just was perfect we will definitely be going back

Lovely experience from beginning to end Table of 6 was booked for a family dinner. We were running late so had phoned up to confirm we were still coming. When we eventually arrived, about 30 minutes late, we were still given a warm welcome and shown straight to our table. The gentleman who served us was lovely and helpful and recommended dishes to us which proved absolutely spot on. All dishes were delicious and we all have a thorough enjoyable evening. We will definitely be going to Cote again.

Always a pleasure to vist Cotes in Manchester. Food consistently good as well as attentive and friendly staff. Good ambience as well. Value for money too.

Very dissatisfied Sunday afternoon 3pm There was a lack of service When we arrived I think there were two tables being waited on, I sensed there was a problem with the attitude of the Staff in fact I saw two of them arguing behind the curtain There was a misunderstanding going on and then our waiter suddenly disappeared The service overall was very slow considering there were only two tables and ours n Being served

Good food, excellent ambiance - enjoyed it as always. Fish pie was delicious. I always enjoy the steak frites, and would recommend the Manchester restaurant.

Lovely place, we all enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. We were happy to give a tip but think the suggestion should be only 10%.

I ordered the half chicken with mushroom sauce. When I tucked into my second piece of chicken a distinctive smell arose and suddenly a smell just wouldn’t go away? An off smell? I complained and mentioned this to the waiter with no apology from the manager or waiter, only a comment to say that he will have to let someone else check it out. He never came back to tell me the outcome. All they did was not charge for two deserts. With no apology or explanation- we just so happened to see that money was taken off the bill! Very very poor!

Generally good experience and good service, would go again. In a good location Menu looked ok. What more can I say about this city centre eating place

Excellent, friendly service Starters were tasty, with lovely fresh salad. We requested a different dressing from the menu and this was accommodated without hesitation. Sea bream was also good. The accompanying ratatouille was a little too oily for our taste. Green beans were al dente, just as we like them. The chocolate pot and crème caramel desserts were very good.

All good but my companion would have like bread with her soup .When we realised it didn't come with bread we ordered some but it was 2 50 p. But overall very good

We had the pre theatre menu and it was delicious. The service was attentive without being overbearing. We would definitely go to Cote again. Great value.

Good menu choices including pre- theatre option. Enjoyed our food and service very good. Prices reasonable. They add optional 12.5% to bill as a service charge. Would definitely return.

Cote is reliable. Great staff, good food and Gluten Free when I need it to be. Seabass perfect, steak just so, what more do you need?
