The meal was delicious. The staff were lovely. Very happy.

We always enjoy Cotes!! Love the way the staff are so accommodating of requests. I asked for potatoes instead of fries with my chicken,no problem!! I asked for a latte with half a single shot, again no problem!! We mainly visit Liverpool Cotes but have been to Manchester a few times, York+Edinburgh! Same great service+delicious food every time!!! Was a little disappointed that the herb roasted poussin wasn’t available yesterday as it sounded delicious but I enjoyed my alternative choice. 😊

Lovely food & staff. Great to see plenty of gluten free options as this was important to us with my husband being a coeliac. Staff took this seriously and we were confident there would be no cross contamination.

Would have been 6 all round I had the mussels they were very small, and we had you wait a while before they cleared our starters this is just to give feed back not enough of problem to complain overall very good

This was our first visit to Cote,and from the experience we enjoyed..it wont be 0ur last.!! From entering the restaurant we were impressed by the friendly staff,we were warm;y greeted and taken to our table straight away,offered drinks whist we checked out the menu. Great choice,!! My husband being French was looking forward to a good wine list,when he asked the waitress for information on the wines she show an excellant knowledge on which went well with what he was ordering.He was impressed.!! The food was amazing,well predented and extrem;y tasty. Overal our evening was a great success, it was a little noisy,however saying that it was very busy at peak time on a Saturday evening. I would highly reccommend Cote ,and we will be returning soon.

I found excellent food and wine, if a bit on the pricey side. The staff are lovely and considerate, the atmosphere is relaxing. An enjoyable evening.

Excellent food and service, all staff were attentive, polite and professional. Set menu offered great value with wide choice and something for everyone. Only gripe is that 12.5% service charge is high, acknowledge it can be removed by request but feel it should be set at lower rate.

Attentive staff, a straightforward menu with a jolly good lunch deal. Carefully prepared food - the soft boiled egg salad was great - perfectly cooked egg, and I enjoyed the fennel with capers accompanying the chicken.

My old colleagues and myself meet in Manchester on a fairly regular basis. When we first began, years ago, to seek a good lunch, we tried many many in-town restaurants. All were discarded after a couple of visits, for all kinds of reasons. Then we found Cote Brasserie. We have now lunched with you so many times, we feel like part of the furniture. Every visit is thoroughly enjoyable. We are welcomed royally, we have a table allocated according to our requests, the food is superb and we leave completely satisfied: all praise to the waiting staff and the kitchen. We have already fixed a date amongst ourselves for a return, in a month or two.

We come to Cote all the time and love it, the surroundings service and food are all amazing. Our only bugbear is the automated service charge. This creates a slight awkwardness every time as we have to ask for this to be removed while we choose our own tip value.

My daughter and I were belatedly celebrating Mother’s Day on Saturday. We were cordially greeted and shown to a window seat, which I prefer. I’ve been to Côte many times before so I was accustomed to the wide choice. Having decided on the Premium Set menu we were quickly served once we’d finished our aperitif ( a pleasant gin and sparkling wine cocktail). The French onion soup was hearty and delicious whilst the sea bass with fennel was perfectly cooked. The Sauvignon Blanc was a good match to the main course. Coffee was pleasant and served after a decent interval. Service at Côte is always excellent and today was no exception. My only criticisms of the menu are that the sides are overpriced-£3+ for green beans is over the top for example, in comparison to the cost of the mains overall. I would like a more imaginative choice in the desserts- there only ever seems to be ice cream, creme caramel, chocolate pot or crumble for dessert. We both enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend Côte again to others.

Four of us were meeting up for lunch, and we arrived 40 minutes early, very hungry! We thought we would try our luck, and ask if we could have the table, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We were made to feel very welcome. I had an offer for a free bottle of wine, which was redeemed instantly, the food arrived quickly, and was delicious, especially the Creme Caramel!! We had a lot of catching up to do, and ended up staying for nearly 3 hours, but felt under no pressure to rush off. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We loved the food, such an excellent menu and very well prepared and presented. The decor is really appealling and the staff were outstanding.

I booked this restaurant by chance, and what an absolute winner! Amazing food, fantastic service and very friendly staff. By far one of the best restaurants I have been to in a very long time.

Up until my most recent visit I would have given the full 6 stars every time. Sadly I was left wondering if there had been a change of management... Minor delay for a pre-booked table, a very noisy all male group adjacent to us, didn't recognise any of the staff (who have always been very pleasant) then came the meal. Cote has always been impeccably reliable when it comes to quality, unfortunately my usual steak on this occasion was riddled with connective tissue and was a big disappointment. My partner and myself have enjoyed visiting the restaurant for several years now and we have introduced many of our friends and family also.

As always , the staff are welcoming and very professional. The lunch menu is very good value and well cooked. I would recommend this restaurant and suggest it stands up well against many other Manchester restaurants.

Had a birthday meal at Cote. The food was very good and the staff was friendly. The prices were easonable as well. Overall a great experience.

We had the pre theatre meal on. February. It was excellent. The egg benedict was delicately cooked, my husband enjoyed his carrot and butternut squash soup - ideal for a freezing night! I had the chicken pamentier, which was delicious, my husband’s minute steak was just right. For dessert he had creme caramel and I had the piquant iced berries with warm white chocolate sauce. Mmm. Laborde red wine accompanied our meal beautifully. Good service too. We’ll be back.

I booked for 8 people at 1400 on Saturday and arrived on time. The food was ok but nothing special, so I wouldn't say value for money. It's a nice location and environment. The big issue I had was when desert was served at 1545 we were told we had to leave the table at 1600. Nowhere were we told when booking that there was a 2 hour time limit on the table. I checked my online booking to confirm this wasn't mentioned anywhere. We were all really annoyed that we only had 15 minutes to finish and drink up, when actually we wanted to stay and drink more wine. We were prepared to spend all afternoon there but couldn't. What made it worse is that the table was given to 2 adults and 6 children...really? How much would they be spending on wine? We had 7 adults drinking £30 bottles of wine! It's really unprofessional to turf guests out before they have finished and even more so to be told 15 minutes before your time is up. I hate restaurants that do this and had I know, would not have booked a table. None of us would ever go back or recommend it to anyone.

I took my boyfriend and family here for my boyfriends birthday on a saturday lunch time. Amazing food and excellent service! Will be returning for sure!

Cannot fault the quality of the food and the service of the staff. Had a long unhurried Friday lunch with family just as we asked for!!! Delighted.

I always enjoy eating at Cote great food lovely atmosphere. Manchester Cote and Cote London excellent too. Lovely food great choice excellent wine definitely a great place to go and enjoy a good meal in pleasant surroundings excellent staff

Food lovely - my experience has been consistently good at Cote Restaurants. Slight mix up with order delivery which might have been partly our fault in terms of communication but ended up having meals delivered at different times. Wine recommendation was spot on. Quite night being a Tuesday following a Bank Holiday so not much atmosphere but the decor etc was good and we had a choice of table.

as always the service and the food was top class. it was my wifes birthday and we were treated to a Kir Royale each which was a nice start to our lovely meal. we have visited many times and we have never been disappointed. we will be there again in a couple of weeks.
