Prompt and friendly service, tasty food, and the 'birthday' kirs were much appreciated.

The food is consistently good but the service was uninspiring. The staff have changed a lot and don’t look too happy.

We had been recommended to come here by friends and we weren’t disappointed. The food and service was first class. We’ll be back to visit again.

Pleasant helpful staff and good food. Don’t like the included service charge, it should be up to me to decided whether to leave a tip or not and who it goes to.

Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere and outstanding service! Would definitely recommend! The restaurant was extremely welcoming and staff went out of their way to help. Amazing gluten free menu also with a variety of selections that everyone would be happy with.

Waiters seemed rushed, had to get attention whenever we required anything. Two of our party did not get the cocktail offer even though chose from a la Carte menu

We booked a lunch table for 8 and pre-ordered the food. Service was very smooth and the food was lovely. Average waiting time between the courses was about 10 minutes, which was perfect and allowed us to be back at the office in time. Everyone had a fab meal. Some of my male colleagues did mentioned that the portions were quite small for them, but as far as I know everyone left without feeling hungry as most of the guys ordered three courses. I've rated the value for money at 5* as the food was perfectly cooked and I was more than satisfied with my two courses.

This place never disappoints. A real French bistro in the centre of Manchester. Efficient, friendly service and superb bistro style, beautifully cooked, food. We use it again and again. Good value wine too,

Always good here - that's why I come regularly. There was a problem with one of the steaks this time and a new one was cooked and delivered within 7mins so that we could still eat together. Amazing service at all times despite always being busy.

Very tasty food. Great service, good central location. Brilliant value for money. Slightly dissaponted that the incorporated gratituite bill is in very small print on the menu ( could be caught out). Will defiantly visit again.

A lovely place to go and couldn’t fault anything. The staff were attentive and efficient and the food was cooked perfectly and your given plenty of time between courses to relax. Overall it’s somewhere we will definitely book again and we are already talking about visiting the Harrogate one. Best creme brûlée I've had.

Once again a really enjoyable meal- the best lunch value in Manchester. We are a French speaking group and the waitress from Marseille, was truly excellent. Very professional and friendly at the same time. We shall definitely be back for lunch in 6 weeks.

Excellent food and service. Nice that I was able to bring a birthday cake for my Mum. Staff were great. Only thing that we didn't like was the plain olives. They were very bitter. This was a minor issue thought. Thank you once again. We will be back 😚

The food was nice, a little disappointed that we wasn't made aware of the strict set menu on valentine's Day when booking. Was looking forward to the a la carte menu but unfortunately couldn't order from it.

Came here for my partners birthday, food was really nice. Plus they gave him a complementary desert with a candle in which was a surprise even for me! Would recommend.

Service and atmosphere good but chicken parmentier dish ( ordered by two of our party ) was disappointing. Considered to be a bit dry and lacking in taste.

We booked with the cocktail offer which was delicious. The restaurant was very quiet which was the only downside, but the service was warm and attentive. The food was great ( belly pork & lamb rump) and well presented. I would recommend this Cote for good location and an interesting menu which was very well executed.

We enjoyed the whole experience. Excellent food, value for money and attentive service. The wine list was extensive and affordable. The restaurant was busy without being too noisy.

As usual a meal of good quality at a very low price. A very comfortable and stylish restaurant with excellent service. I can’t think how many times I lunched here in the last three years but it’s always been most enjoyable.

Had a very enjoyable meal here today. I was given a glass of fizz because it was my birthday. The menu choices were good, as was the food. Service was also attentive but unitrusive.

Very nice meal indeed - all four of us enjoyed our food. Three had steaks all cooked as asked and one poulet grille which was lovely. We went at a very busy time and the service was still good, with us being kept fully informed when their was a slight delay waiting for a bread starter. Would recommend this restaurant- it was a good start to our theatre night.

Cote Manchester is always our port of call pre- theatre dinner, in this review West Side Story at the Royal Exchange Theatre - ( and that was a brilliant shoe too ) Always excels - for service and the menu which has subtle changes on each visit. I just went for the two course prestige, Breton Chicken, just superb, and the fries hit the right note. To finish Creme Caramel. and a glass of the Landuec wine. My other friends were equally impressed, four of which was their first visit to Cote.

Second visit in a week just as good crab bisque on the specials menu fab should be on the main menu

A consistent chain, which we have used from London to York, with Manchester being our latest port of call. Food is always good, and service of a high quality. I wish I could add an enormous FIVE STARS for customer service from our visit yesterday, as my partner left his glasses on the table. A quick phone call when we got home resulted in the lovely staff offering to post the specs, saving us a 2-hour journey to Manchester to collect them. Absolutely brilliant, and the sort of thing which makes us want to return when we're next in town. We should also mention that Manchester Cote is an ideal pre-theatre venue for the Royal Exchange theatre ( we did post-matinee ).

Great experience. Will definitely be coming here again and would fully recommend it to everyone who maybe has doubts. The only thing I will say that wasn’t ‘6 stars’ was part of the main course but if anything that was my fault, not theirs.

Went out of their way to make a birthday breakfast special lovely staff always enjoy my experience here! Amazing food and great location and staff are always a pleasure!

Food and service were both excellent. We shared a chicken and walnut salad to start which was great followed by the special veal steak and roast chicken. Waiter Norbert was attentive and pleasant.

Really enjoyed lunch yesterday. Nice booth for 5 of us. We all chose the fixed menu and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Staff attentive and helpful. Will definitely come here again.
