Very good food at a reasonable price. The service was excellent - I had a slight problem which was rectified immediately. Will eat there again.

Nice ambience despite tables being a little closer together that we would have liked. Food and service excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience in all.

We ate at the restaurant at lunchtime. We ordered from the set lunch menu, the food was great and the service was also very good.

Excellent service, good food well presented. An evenly paced meal with sufficient time allowed in between courses. Pleasant staff and prompt receipt of the bill, once asked for. Ideal for us has we were due at the theatre by 7-30. Well done

I've been going to Cote in Manchester since it opened in April 4 or 5 years ago, lovely atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff and the food is really good which is why is we travel a long way to go there.

Had a lovely meal here - the service is excellent and there is a wide selection of food and drink. There is a lively atmosphere in stylish surroundings

Usual good standard of food and service, and special thanks to our usual cheerful & attentive waitress from Hebden Bridge - you know who you are! Noise levels OK this visit - no overly intrusive music. Aircon was a bit overcon where I was sitting - a bit draughty. No complaints otherwise. A nice relaxed dining experience in a restaurant to which I keep returning.

Love this restaurant, amazing for gluten free and such good service too. Great value for money. Would certainly go again and recommend to friends too

Having visited cote in London, Liverpool, Hale and Manchester. We have always preferred the Manchester Cote even though our offers come from the Liverpool branch. On our visit today we were slightly disappointed. We always order the same menu, but didn't realise there were two steaks on the lunchtime menu. So when our Server asked us how we would like the steaks, medium, rare or well done, we were slightly confused as we always have the steak frites. and have never been asked that before as we remarked to our server. When the steaks arrived we were disappointed and thought we would mention it to our server Jennifer, who could Not have done more to help us, she immediately got the meals changed, but by this time we had eaten most of the first meal, and did not want to cause any upset to her as she was absolutely fantastic. I always have the peppercorn sauce but it was very watery, and the steaks weren't the best. I never like leaving a bad review as cote in Manchester has always been one of our favourite restaurants.

The surroundings were very smart and the staff professionally attentive but I'm afraid some of the food was not up to the standard I've come to expect from my fairly frequent visits to Cote branches. My friend, who had not been to a Cote before, was served up very dry chicken from the more expensive menu. It looked (and when I tasted it) as though it had been around for a while and then reheated. We expressed our disatisfaction and were each offered a desert. We declined but did accept a complimentary coffee. I suspect my friend, who lives in Cheshire, will not dine there again.

This Cote is similar to all Cotes which provide consistently good food and service is delivered in a cheerful and helpful way. However, this particular branch seemed extraordinarily noisy.

Food and service were very good, as usual, but two issues: We had the “premium” set menu but you charged the a la carte price for a dessert (ice cream) that featured on the “standard” set menu; The service charge is too high at 12.5%.

Always reliable. Always good value. Consistently good food. This restaurant is my go-to for a relaxed lunch, pre-theatre meal, or even an evening out because of it's location & accesibility.

A very good meal today complemented by excellent customer service. The food is always cooked to perfection and is reasonably priced so we always enjoy our visits to Cote, Manchester. The staff are very attentive and pleasant to customers so overall it was an extremely enjoyable lunch.

Once again a wonderful meal with outstanding service. From the entrance hello and a choice of near the door tables,as I’d asked for, and food that could of come from 5 star restaurants we couldn’t of asked for anything more for our son and his girlfriends b/day celebration. The ambiance of a Tuesday night, not too quiet but just right, was great. The large noise group, out of the way at the back, to a few smaller tables near the front where we could see all the gorgeous different meals being servered. The guys had 2 types of steak, perfectly cooked with delicious veg and of course extra French beans. Us girls enjoyed the tastey belly pork with perfect cracking. Then Birthday deserts such a fabulous surprise with Happy Birthday song!! Thank you Cote definitely see you soon. Your staff are a wonderful well mannered group of individuals who give such good service and always there only when needed. Such a memorable meal.

As always the staff were polite, attentive and efficient. The food was great and the lunch period was a nice relaxed experience. Thoroughly recommended for any day of the week, not just Sunday.

We enjoyed another great meal with excellent service again at Cote. That's it, enough said why ask for more? I shall get annoyed if you persist.

Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, food out promptly, tasty food, would happily visit again or recommend to friends. Tables are slightly on the small side to cater for drinks and water and plates etc.

The food was great - apart from the chicken breast. I have eaten at Côte many, many times and have never had a meal which was anything other than delicious. However the chicken breast today was absolutely tasteless. I could have made it myself at home in 20 minutes. The tuna starter was delicious and the creme caramel was really lovely. The chicken breast was rubbish.

Absolutely delicious food. My 'hard to please' husband said it was the best meal out he'd had for years in terms of the food. My calamari was the best I've ever had. Lovely staff and atmosphere.

We had a fantastic birthday meal at Cotes. Excellent food and service. The prestige menu had a really good range to chose from and was excellent value. We will dine here again.

First visit to Cote. Attractive, comfortable surroundings. Friendly, attentive staff. Much time spent by the Manager, finding food choices to suit my intolerances. Delicious food.

Loved coming to côte again and their new set menu is really great value! From when we arrived the woman who sat us down with dark curly hair was so friendly and put us at ease, helping us choose the right bottle of wine also. We will definitely be back .

Food and wine very good. Service very good. Loud humming noise (from an extractor fan?) spoilt what would have been a pleasant dining experience. Then hit with a 12.5% service charge automatically included on the bill. We did not ask for it to be removed but it further took the edge off our evening.

As always a meal at Cote was a really pleasurable experience The food is of high quality reasonably priced and with a wide choice.The ambiance is relaxed and the staff are highly efficient and invariably helpful and charming. I cannot recommend it too highly!

The restaurant offered good value especially the 2 course pre theatre and lunch option. There were imaginative choices and lovely food, and the menu changes regularly so you can have something different every time..

We found this fantastic little restaurant by chance, we found it had a great atmosphere, just off the beaten track in Manchester, very attentive staff, excellent food, cant wait to go again.

We first discovered Cote whilst in London, not knowing it was a chain, we were very impressed by the food and the prices. We have tried various locations and have not been disappointed. Give it a try.

Our first visit; very impressed by the menu range, service and ambiance. We came at 6pm for a pre-theatre meal and very much enjoyed the experience. We'll not hesitate to go again or to recommend Cote to friends.

Excellent service and really good food. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Good location for Manchester arena and the pre-theatre menu is really tasty with a good choice of food.

Steaks are excellent as are the staff who are very welcoming. Nothing too much trouble for them. It is not a huge place but that is one of its advantages. Staff will order taxis if needed which park directly outside. Would highly recommend it.

We had the deluxe pre-theatre menu. First course was excellent. Mains were nice but, we felt, a little overcooked. Wine by the glass was good. No sweets but coffee and tea were good. Service and ambience were good. Overall bill of £56 including service was,we thought, reasonable.

Good Service, good atmosphere and the food was ok too! Dessert menu limited, I am a great pudding fan!, Certainly we will go again soon.
