As always we had a quality breakfast with efficient staff. Their Formule is good value for a choice of hot dish, juice and hot drink.

Lovely food and service but suriprised the steak didn’t come with anything other than garnish - you would expect a grilled tomato, mushrooms at least! Also disgusted by automatic tip added to the bill for two people

Lovely food and great service We enjoyed the rib eye steak, fish parmentier and beef bourguignon. All washed down with a lovely bottle of wine.

Lovely meal with excellent service. We had the set menu which had a great selection to choose from and was really good value as well. Would definitely go again.

Had a lovely celebratory dinner with friends. Great value prestige menu and wine list is extensive. Nice decor and atmosphere, one of our favourite places in town.

Food was very good, however a small hiccup with desserts meant that we ate them separately, no real problem. I did find the gratuity being added to the bill was a surprise, tipping is a personal thing and should be at the discretion of the guest, not a default on the bill. That aside we will try a dinner there one evening in the future, overall quite good

Great value fixed menus available as well as a la carte. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff in a central town location. Lovely decor with outdoor seating.

Been here several times. Great food and friendly efficient service. Pleased to be offered water at no charge. Creme Caramel best I've had in ages.

good lamb & veal ,and rose , but slightly slow , but were not in a hurry , try again soon , nice table in window but sheltered from footway by outdoor diners

Friendly, efficient service in pleasant surroundings. We settled for the fixed 2 course menu. Food was simple but well cooked. Overall it was a little overpriced for what you got. Nothing exciting.

The menu selection was great, and the food came quickly. Our food was really lovely and the staff were attentive without being annoying. There was no rush to move us on despite it being a sunny, busy afternoon. A thoroughly relaxing afternoon.

Asparagus soup was lovely. Main course could have been hotter, temperature wise. Staff were attentive and friendly. We were given the table I asked for.

The staff were very welcoming and looked after us well. The food was good. So good overall and good value. The salmon dish was felt to be especially good.

The service was good but the presentation of some of the dishes needed attention. The spinach & mushroom crepes tasted okay but they looked very unappetising. It appeared that the kitchen realised this and had piled some rocket on the top in the hope of disguising the fact!

The food was absolutely delicious and the gluten free menu is almost as comprehensive as the “normal” menu. Excellent staff, superb service, can’t recommend it high enough!! Thank you for a wonderful evening!!

Lovely sunny day, all was ok. Why do I need to write 25 words when 5 should do? The rare steak was so thin it couldn't be rare, the replacement was only ok.

We had a lovely meal and the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. I would definitely eat there again and would recommend it to friends.

Good service, poor acoustics - so difficult to hold a conversation when the restaurant was busy. We all found the food to be very bland and not very fresh.

Friendly , polite staff and nice service but found the food to be very standard chain restaurant. My ribeye steak was over cooked but I didn’t have time to send it back. Also, the wine list had nothing I liked so I had to order a G&T. Overall, I wouldn’t rush back or particularly recommend - it’s just run of mill / average.

Three of us all agreed that the food was very good, The service was smooth and both the white wine and the rose wines were well chilled and excellent value.

Nice friendly staff who are engaged and have good sense of humour. Food is lovely although friends chicken was a bit too dry. Restaurant was clean, had a nice ambiance and we'll definitely return.

Tables well spaced so don’t feel you’re eating on top of each other. Staff very friendly and attentive. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely atmosphere Great with the large windows open on a warm evening.

Excellent service and food. Ollie the general manager was professional and ran the floor extremely well. Our waiter James was also great. Very good value and price
