Côte Leamington Spa

The formulae is always good although this time my bacon was cremated. Service is always good. Experience not quite great for my wife who is GF. What I don’t get is when I get toast I get 2 slices nicely cut in half. She just gets one slice and not cut. We asked for a second slice for her and the same again, just in a plate. Its no big deal but it makes a little difference that you do things the same for both GF and non GF. Sometimes it’s the little details. All in all tho, lovely people, lovely place and lovely food

An excellent visit - Meeting friends in another town always presents the problem of where to eat. Being great Cote fans we always check there is one in the area. We were pleased to find one in Leamington Spa - an excellent evening at the restaurant.

Mixed feelings: Great atmosphere and friendly service. New menu looked good, although the duck I ordered was tasty but too chewy with a lot of fat.

Really good visit. Great service and very friendly. Food delicious. Only thing I don’t like is the 12.5% service charge added. Yes it’s optional but it’s uncomfortable to remove it. We would have been very happy to tip it anyway as everything was so good. But on our terms, NOT already included. I realise this isn’t unusual to include in the bill. But we don’t like it

Warm and inviting restaurant. Pork belly dish very nice. Pork was tender and potato gratin delicious. Tip added to bill without consent.

After taking our seat we were offered drinks, my girlfriend asked for a lime and soda but we were given lime and lemonade. She ordered the salmon with a side of potatoes. They forgot the potatoes and had to cook them. By the time they arrived the rest of the food was cold. Won't return again.

Really nice meal, very accommodating as I wanted to swap something on the meal and it was “not a problem” I was given added vegetables as requested. Restaurant and facilities are spotless and food is of a high standard.

As always, food was very good, service great and very friendly. The kitchen did try to pass off some tired blue cheese as Roquefort on my cheeseplate but the serving staff saw what I meant and had it sorted quickly.

This visit was on a Saturday but had booked in advance. Was shown to the table after only a short wait. Ordered drinks were brought promptly to the table, and food order taken. Starters were brought out in good time, both the prawns and chicken liver parfait was delicious. However there was a very long wait from the starters being brought to the main course arriving - in excess of 30 minutes, maybe even 40 minutes. We called the waiter over to say we'd been waiting rather a long time, he replied "I know", and went to see where they were. We had the rib-eye and the fillet steak, both were delicious and perfectly cooked. It was just a shame we had to wait so long to get them. We declined dessert as we were now pressed for time, paid the bill (deducting the service charge) and left.

Great New Year day brunch. Grandson with food allergies catered for. Service quite good as it was a busy morning. We will be back soon

My tuna in Salad Nicoise was badly cooked, charred and the eggs were undercooked, so sent it back. The whole thing looked messy, but the replacement was much better. However, this is the first time I have had a problem here, I meet a friend every 6 weeks or so for lunch, and the standard is usually good.

Fabulous. We went for the early evening Prestige menu. It was just lovely and great service and delightful staff. Would thoroughly recommend and will go again.

Efficient service. All courses well presented and served. Very pleasant Merlot from extensive wine list. We were given a table in a quiet area as we had requested when booking.

Food came too quickly. Food was ok waiter very good. Had the steak which tasted a bit too smoky. Adding the 12.5% tip is a bit cheeky.

Another excellent experience at Leamington Spa’s Cote, which is becoming my favourite restaurant in Leamington. Service as always was excellent, the food delicious and we were able to tuck ourselves away in a quiet corner. My sister and I couldn’t have asked for more.

Yet again another wonderful evening. The staff are truly delightful and certainly make every aspect of the experience one to remember. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with style. Many thanks to everyone.

Lovely atmosphere, food great. They forgot to bring us our olives and the spinach side dish was completely cold. Overall good though as staff responded quickly.

Good service, nice surroundings. We were given the option of where we would like to sit. Food was very nice and we were not rushed, there was just the right gap between courses. A very pleasant evening.

A great branch of Cote, lovely staff, fab breakfast. The food came really quickly and was piping hot. The coffee was nice, but could do with a large version. I don't think the reservation was necessary as it was fairly quiet.

Lovely meal I had the poulet grille chicken in a lovely creamy mushroom sauce and shared a coupe noir ice cream with a pot of melted dark chocolate delish. Fantastic staff will certainly be going back again

Have been to Cote on numerous occasions and the food and service are always excellent. Would highly recommend. Prices and ambience are very good too
