My squid starter was overcooked to the point of almost burnt. Two of us had cassoulet which seemed fine. Two of us had a 'chargrilled butterflied chicken breast with mushroom sauce and gratin potatoes '. The chicken was very hard and gray coloured, no flavour and no sign of any chargrilling. It was so tough and hard to cut. The mushrooms and sauce were pleasant but the potatoes were dumped in a slop on the same dish and a load of runny liquid ran into the mushroom sauce. Overall we had two unpleasant plates of grey. Potatoes like this are usually served in a separate dish. We come back because some of Cote's food can be nice, but over the last few months we have had problems particularly with the meat quality and cookery, which seems hit and miss. We never know now if a meal here will be ok - it used to be so reliable.

Food was lovely, however they had ran out of my first TWO choices.

A well managed restaurant by James . A warm welcome and quickly offered drinks menu set the scene for a wonderful evening. I can not recommend the prawn gratinee with extra croutons highly enough. Despite a minor issue , managed adeptly by James, the mains of lamb and salmon were thoroughly enjoyed. Such are the size of portions that a sweet was not necessary in this instance, but from past visits , the coupe noire is spectacular. A super evening, thanks to all at Leamington Spa Cote .

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The food was great and the service by the staff was excellent. It was obvious, from when a glass of water was knocked over, that they were watching what was going on, but without ever being intrusive. (The water was quickly mopped up and we continued with the meal) The price of the meal was very fair too, having regard to both the quality and the quantity of what was served To quote the terminator, "We will be back!"

Its always a fantastic experience and great food everytime we visit.

Staff are extremely welcoming and very efficient. both fish dishes were perfectly cooked and delicious. A full house on an early Saturday evening, the background noise wasn't intrusive A firm favourite.

Great meal at lunch time. Ordered from the main menu as we had an offer of a bottle of wine with this menu. Food was excellent, well presented by very good staff. Not rushed, but not ignored. Slightly more expensive than similar restaurants in the area, but worth it for the food and overall experience.

We were so impressed with the overall level of service. Excellent food and the staff were amazing. We celebrated my brother's 40th birthday and we were so pleased we chose this restaurant. All good was outstanding and the steaks were awesome. Thank you so much, we will all be back soon!

I had a 3 course meal at cote with some friends for my birthday . I ordered from the prestige menu - the food was beautiful and cooked to perfection and wonderfully presented . The staff went out of their way to make me and friends to feel welcome :) The service was just outstanding we will definitely be returning soon . Thank you .

Really great evening, food and staff very customer focussed and keen to ensure we were happy with our meal. Ambience was good and the facilities are very well kept. Testament to the standards and leadership of the general manager. We have just moved to Leaminton Spa and will certainly visit again.

I always enjoy eating out at Cote as the menu choice is great, the food is fantastic and service is second to none. The current January offer is available until 7pm which means you and your partner can meet up after work and go for a meal before going home. Give yourselves a treat- you’re both worth it.

Quiet night in early January, so not a huge ambiance, but staff were very pleasant, food came quickly and was good (oddly, the stand-out was the tomato salad!) Will be happy to come back.

We were a booking of 8 for breakfast. 1 person was disabled ,2 were vegan the staff went out of their way to be inclusive and accommodated the various dietary requests. I really can’t speak highly enough about the staff and management team, who whilst respectful courteous to customers they were also the same to each other.

The staff kindly took it back immediately and produced another and I was not charged for my dish. The second steak was better than the first but not of the same quality as I had previously enjoyed. The restaurant became very busy which involved waiting longer for the main meal and for the dessert menu to be produced.
