Côte Leamington Spa

Quiet lunchtime, good food and presentation. Service good upto and including main course but tailed off afterwards. The minute steaks were good. One of our party had veal, another, Breton chicken also good. Slight niggle, the buttered carrots were soggy and had obviously not been freshly cooked. There was little excuse for this as we had had starters, allowing plenty of time to prep. vegetables.

Food was good and we loved idea of 10 year anniversary menu. Service was a bit flakier than other visits, took time to clear plates and glasses and our table / the one next to us both had to ask for cutlery.

Service as usual was very good but my wife's main was poor and had to be returned- (fish parmentier) was inedible so was replaced with an alternative choice which was ok.

Staff are very friendly, polite and attentive! Our favourite place to have steak at affordable prices, without compromising on the quality! Delicious every time! Great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Always a pleasant and calm atmosphere when we go for breakfast. Seating well spaced so you never feel you're sitting on top of the people on the next table.

Food very good, but very irritating that everything ( bread, veg etc), was extra. Pretty noisy due to hard floor and lack of soft furnishing. Service good and with a smile.

Friendly staff with a tasty well priced menu. Sitting outside is also pleasant in the evening. The steak frites is particularly good, especially if you have it rare.

A very good value set menu at lunch time. The menu choice is wide enough to suit all tastes. Just the right occasion for meeting our friends.

It was so good that we are gong again next week. The 3 course offer is good value although the wine list is expensive - perhaps some better value wines from other countries eg Australia, South Africa would reduce the prices

We had a lovely evening with great service and great food. It was my husband's birthday and we were given a nice booth with a birthday banner and a candle in a complimentary ice cream dessert. The food was perfect in terms of portion size, presentation and taste. I particularly enjoyed the Fish stew with sea bream, prawns, clans, squid and mussels! A great restaurant which is definitely recommended for couples and older families - our 12 year old daughter somehow ate 3 courses of the main menu and thoroughly enjoyed it all.

Really easy and effective booking system. Amazing staff - so polite, attentive, just perfect service. The waiter chatted to us, but wasn't over bearing, he was so nice. Food was excellent, wonderfully tasty, good portions, and fast service. We were really impressed with our dishes and told the waiter so. We got our bill promptly, the only thing was that service was included on the bill, so it would have been awkward to have not tipped IF we'd been unhappy with the service. But because it was such a lovely meal, that wasn't a problem to us (I just always think it should be at the customers discretion) When we left, all the staff made eye contac, smiled and said good night. We had a really lovely evening, in a nice environment, excellent food, and a fair price.

Dissapointed this visit, we booked online to get the kia royal offer which was question although we were given it. Also I rang almost a week before to request a dairy free fish parmentier which had been done before on Lesleys instructions. when we arrived it clearly hadn't been prepped as I was told all the dairy free mash had been used for other guests. I was given the dish but it wasn't as good as the last one. Then they brought our main course before we had finished the starter. ...Not impressed.

Lovely Father's Day brunch on the terrace. Cooked breakfast was a little cold but was quickly replaced. The jam on the table was what we thought a nice touch, until we discovered it was for ornamental purposes only, but only after we'd used it on our toast!!!!!! Otherwise, a very pleasent experience and will definitely be visiting again.

I visit Cote in Leamington Spa fairly regularly and always enjoy good food and service. On my latest visit, however, I was slightly disappointed with my dessert - a peach crumble. Although the dish it was served in was piping hot, the crumble itself was only luke warm. However, it was quickly replaced - the staff are always very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful restaurant with a lovely ambience. Warmly welcomed in and taken care of throughout the meal.Advised by the friendly waiter on dessert choice. The food was good however, the additional charge for garlic jus with the chicken was surprising and off putting as it ought to have come as part of the meal. Overall, a lovely experience.

Lovely meal for the most part. My guest said the soup was too salty for her taste but we really enjoyed everything else we ordered. I really like the minute steak from Cote.

Good food , slow service . Manager attentive and apologetic , but staff disorganised. In a price bracket with Ask , Carluccios etc , value for money needs to be better . Our £20 voucher took the edge of things .

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was delicious (the creme caramel is divine!!) and on a warm May eve, it was perfect with the doors open and a chilled glass of house white wine. Happy days!

Lovely atmosphere, friendly we're staff, great puddings - chocolate fondant was fab. We enjoyed our meal. The fish however, could have been filleted better - lots of bones!!
