We were given the booth seating we asked for on booking. The chicken dishes were dry. The server should have helped with the wine from the ice bucket.

The service was excellent . The lamb and the belly pork was overcooked and tough . Since we have been to Cote regularly and have had wonderful food this was not a great experience

All food are delicous, the staff who served us is funny and friendly, he always smile all the time. Overall, I would like to eat here again.

We were shown to the table very quick. The staff were friendly and polite. Food were of reasonable quality. Portion size was adequate unless you were a big eater. It was very good value with the government’s Eat Out to Help Out 50% off.

Lovely staff who were so friendly and professional. Restaurant was very well organised and we got our feed in perfect time. It was delicious - had crab mayonnaise and the grilled chicken which we loved. Overall had a really great time- air conditioning inside could have been a bit cooler (was 34 degrees outside when we went!) but was not an issue!

Superb food at riverside. My husband’s fillet steak was excellent and so was my ribeye steak. Service was excellent too!

All round, the experience was excellent. In truth, recent visits have been disappointing and we felt standard had slipped significantly. This was back to the level we expect both in the terms of food and service. Top notch.

We had an excellent lunch, with attentive but not pushy service. The air-conditioning was a big plus on such a hot day, but in better weather we'll want to sit outside to enjoy your river view. Thank you.

Front of house, maitre ‘d was not very welcoming, tone all wrong. Cold soup, excellent. Calamari, excellent, much improved, since I was last at Cote in Esher. Service order wrong, appetiser came together with mains, after being told to serve separately. Sirloin steak, not tasty. Probably frozen. Disappointing. Espresso, good.

A fabulous lunch with a friend. I had the lamb cutlets. Cooked to perfection and so tasty. I had the coupe noir to finish and so cooling with that delicious rich warm chocolate sauce. Will definitely be back soon - x

Our first evening meal out following restrictions so looking forward to this & we weren't disappointed. Visiting family in Kingston so chose Cote Brasserie & had a lovely experience. Food, service & ambience were perfect. Keep up the good work 😃

Works quite well, quick service, quality food - much prefer now when open only for lunch and not for breakfast.

I did say when I came two weeks ago that I would put up with the vastly increased prices for a few weeks while you get back on your feet but the set menus must return.We are regulars there and when we tell you it's our birthday or wedding anniversary you always gave us a kier royale on the house.That no longer happens and in my opinion you are mad to have stopped,you will lose the loyalty. Great food,great service,feels safe in these troubled times.

Everything really great only slight glitch was white wine was not chilled Or served in an ice bucket until sent back and had to request it. If it wasn’t for that I would be given 6 stars for everything it is something that is easily rectified and why feed back is so important. Thank you for a great evening.

Everything was v good - places where we sat, food, staff..the only part of meals which were a bit disappointing were dauphinois potatoes- they were lacking flavour and texture was not right either, they were to thick and not equally cooked. The restaurant could be a bit cooler on a hot day but overall a very good experience.

So great to come back to Cote again, and our wonderful meal more than lived up to expectations - all my favourites were as delicious as I'd remembered! Friendly and welcoming staff (especially our waiter), and a safe, happy environment.

We booked to Kingston as our local Wimbeldon wasn’t open. We arrived early but was greeted and seated in no time. Social distancing was observed and the tables well spaced. Everything was set for lovely evening in as safe as was possible environment. Great food and service!! only Cote does this consistently in my opinion. We ordered the crab mayonnaise, calamari, pork belly and a lobster which was lovely to see on the menu and exceptional. Service was attentive, informed and considerate, when we asked to move to a table in the shade the waiter and host were great. Well done Team Cote at Kingston. Keep it up.

Whilst we enjoyed the food and the service was good, unfortunately we all got food poisoning from eating at Cote in Kingston last night. Myself, my sister and my friend were up ill for much of the night. It's such a shame as Cote is one of my favourite restaurants and I'm not sure where they went wrong (we all had very different dishes so I'm guessing it was the handling of the food that caused us to get sick).
