Went for a pre-theatre meal. The place was buzzing but we were greeted warmly and seated without delay. Our order was taken by a friendly waiter and delivered quickly so we could relax and enjoy it without worrying we'd miss the start of the show. Godd food and fair value.
Very enjoyable evening. The staff were welcoming, polite and very attentive even though the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday evening. The food was well cooked and delicious and nothing was too much trouble.
Excellent service, excellent food. Only marred by the noise in this very busy restaurant. Serving staff went out of their way to ensure my party were happy with their choices
A bustling restaurant, with the usual Cote quality. Great service and it's right on the riverside, so great position in Kingston could be good in the summer!
Food excellent, service friendly. atmosphere noisy Would i recommend Cote at Kingston to a friend ? Yes Would I return to Cote at Kingston? Yes
The food was very good. Our waitress got the drinks order wrong and we had to return the deals as dressing was on it, we had requested it on the side. However, the gentleman serving was excellent correcting errors quickly.
Friendly service and a great table looking out towards the river which was special as my friend had not been before! Delicious whitebait and the seafood pasta looked delicious. Good value lunch and I will be back!
We love this restaurant, nice atmosphere, the service is good but you are never rushed and can relax and enjoy a nice leisurely lunch. We had the three course lunch menu, nice size portions and good value for money
Quick service and lovely food. We both had the duck confit and the tarte tat in which were both delicious. Our 'reward' bottle of wine was also excellent.
Food was great as it always is but service was very slow and the waiter seemed at a bit of a loss when asked questions about the menu, had to keep going to ask others. In saying that she was very pleasant maybe needed more training or support.
Staff was really helpful, made us really welcome, gave us an introduction to a few dishes. Service was excellent, food was delicious, well cooked and served.
Service was very good and polite, food was once again very delicious and on point, Cote Kingston always deliver an excellent customer service and food.
we had a lovely time the food was excellent and the service was excellent. i am looking forward to my next visit to cote kingston. and it was great having a free bottle of wine with our meal.
Food was excellent as always restaurant was very busy for a Wednesday and service was a little chaotic. Staff very polite and attentive however. Always enjoy Cote.
Sunday morning brunch - chose French breakfast in the Formule option at £9.95 which includes coffee and juice. Excellent scrambled eggs with bacon, mushrooms and boudin noir with brioche. Boudin noir isn't my bag but my companion pronounced it superb. Service is extremely efficient and friendly. Only downside is the 'optional service' which, being automatically added to the bill, rather contradicts the 'optional' bit - I prefer to leave a tip at my own discretion. Very good value in buzzy surroundings - a good way to start the day but reservation is advisable.
My friend and I had a lot of catching-up to do and so appreciated not being hurried through our meal. The food was good , the staff attentive (but not intrusive) and the restaurant for a Monday was buzzing. The welcome bottle of Bergerac white was very good too, and much appreciated. Many thanks. I always enjoy visiting Cote in Kingston.
We always enjoy eating at Cote. It is welcoming, the food is excellent and the staff friendly and efficient. It is in an ideal location when visiting the Rose Theatre.
Great and very enjoyable food, great calm and relaxed atmosphere and lovely friendly hard working staff. It's in an excellent location. Had a really good time would definitely go back.
Very pleasant meal. Service was very good. Very busy and populat spot on the river.Happy with the free bottle of wine which was very enjoyable .I have been before and will be back.
We loved it - lucky with weather we were able to sit outside and were beautifully looked after by the staff - as usual. What a lovely place to sit - as we did for three hours.....
I brought my elderly mother for lunch and as usual the service was excellent with polite and courteous staff. The food was of the normal high standard and the wine pleasantly chilled.
Lovely table for 2 in the window, swiftly laid up for us. Polite and efficient staff - good service, with waiter very anxious to please. Food to a good standard.
Great atmosphere in this buzzy restaurant. We all enjoyed the starters of calamari and the delicious chicken liver pate. We had perfectly cooked swordfish, lamb shank and the pork belly for mains, all of which was excellent. The service was in obtrusive and professional, just as we wanted. Will definitely return.
Efficient friendly service and tasty food. The lunch and early evening menu is good value and a range of choices. Only slight downside was the restaurant was packed and very noisy!
Very good staff were great, nice table with a booth and also a good atmosphere would definetely go to this one again cheese board weren't great
Lovely food and fantastic service. A real treat, made us feel very special for my birthday treat. Reasonably priced and delicious food. We will definitely be back!
My friend and I had a pre theatre set menu which is very reasonably priced with a good selection. It was so delicious I extended my meal to include a dessert. The service was friendly and efficient. Cote is a favourite restaurant and I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.
The food was good as normal and the set menu is good value however the service was very slow even when it really wasn't that busy.
Excellent service and food. We had fish soup : divine and meat : to die for. The deserts are as good as the mains. Recommended
Good service and the brunch was very good value for money as it was under £10 per person and this included a hot drink, a cold drink and a cooked breakfast. l
I am a regular customer at Cote Bath, and because of really good experiences there I go to other branches when I get the chance. Meeting a friend in Kingston gave me the opportunity for two visits, the latest last Saturday for dinner. Service and food both exceptional, and a really good atmosphere in this busy restaurant. I was as pleased as ever, but the good news is that my friend who lives in the area was equally impressed and has already returned with friends of hers. I guess that's a 6 then!!
Good. We did run out of table water since the jug provided is very small and we had to keep asking for it to be replaced. We had a nice time though. thank you for looking after us.
Efficient friendly service, always made to feel welcome. We regularly eat at Côte, Kingston and Guildford our favourites. Food is of a high standard .
Nice table in the corner of the restaurant. Very good food and attentive waiting staff. Food from ordering to delivery to the table was quick. Reasonable prices considering the quality of the food.
Good service and staff very pleasant. Food as usual was very good, especially the dessert. I had the set menu which is very good value.
As always good food and friendly service. Slightly slower than normal but still a very good experience. Booked to eat between shows at the Rose and enjoyed complimentary Kir Royal for my birthday.
Food very good as usual, and service was perfect; friendly, efficient people. It is very noisy here, even on week nights, is the only negative. For us early 60s types, the noise level is stressful, and we are always anxious to get out after eating.
We've been to Cote Kingston twice before and really enjoyed it. As always, the food was absolutely delicious and portion sizes just right. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be going again.
Great food and good atmosphere. Perfect location on the river. Bottle of free white wine was exceptional and went down very easily. Generally a wonderful Lunch.
Enjoyed complimentary kir royales with loyalty points. Steak and duck breast were excellent as well as the desserts The service was friendly and very professional.
Excellent as usual. Well received and taken to table with menus. Water prompt and offer of drinks. Order taken at appropriate time and both courses arrived in good time. Food (2 course menu) delicious. Prompt bill (going to theatre) and friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more.
Very comfortable buzzy environment for a lunch time break. Menu has great varied choice, with generous portions. Enjoy my visits and look forward to my next experience at Cotes.
From arrival greeting to welcoming Kir Royale service was efficient and professional. The choice of menus provided an excellent range of dishes which suited everyone at our table - the March recomended dishes were great additions, especially the Blood Orange Salad. We were additionally blessed with abeautiful day by the river.

Friendly and helpful service. Lovely duck breast. Steak sadly overcooked but delicious crepe dessert made up for it. As always good value for your money
Excellent. Was well looked after by a lovely friendly, supportive waitress. Great selection upon menu. The food was great, delicious. Always enjoy the bread and butter before the main course. Would definitely recommend to others.
Very enjoyable evening at Cote in Kingston , very nice river location and always excellent food and service . We are regulars here and it is always good quality
Our favorite local restaurant and always delivers great food. We have being going to Cote Kingston ever since is opened and not found another restaurant to beat it. Highly recommended.
As ever, good food, good service and a pleasant location for a lunch time break. Would and do recommend Cote to all our friends, two of which were already in the restuarant when we arrived.
The restaurant was quite busy so we had a bit of a wait, but overall it was good value for money and the service was good.

Thank you ! We very much appreciated the free Kia Royals. The meal was presented very nicely and the choice suited us all well. We do enjoy the Kingston venue because of the setting and look forward to eating outside WHEN the better weather arrives. Thank you again, Gordon Beddall.
