Côte Kingston

The staff at Cote Kingston were very attentive and friendly without being overpowering. The food was very good and the whole atmosphere lent itself to a very good meal out.

Staff were very polite, happy and very professional. It was very busy but the managed well. Food was as good as ever, menu was brill, and very reasonably priced. Love this place.

Busy, bustling pre-theatre crowd make a great atmosphere. Location by the Thames as the sun goes down adds to the experience. Food good value as always and efficiently presented by friendly staff. We were two very satisfied customers.

Quick and friendly welcome even though the restaurant was extremely busy. That's always a good sign! We both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. We couldn't fault it. Lovely to have such a good choice on the menu, and all beautifully cooked. It's just a pity we have to take two buses to get to Kingston, but a lovely position by the River Thames. Thank you for a very pleasant dining experience.

Lovely early supper after theatre taking advantage of their meal offer. Good new Autumn menu - great coq au vin with dauphinoise potatoes. Thank you Cote.

pre theatre supper, the food is always of a predictable super quality, served well by a very pleasant waiter, in good time to get to our performance but not rushed, what more could you want!!

Saturday lunch time is an altogether different xperience from a weekday, sitting by the river it was all about families. Although not too busy, somehow this experience did not compare well with recent visits to other Cotes. The same team atmosphere prevailed, but it all seemed a bit forced. Unfortunately, the room was over air-con'd, such that it was nicer outside than in. Sadly, the veal was only warm. I think the kitchen logistics need attention.

Although the restaurant was very busy on a Sunday lunchtime the staff managed to deliver hot tasty meals with a smile. Always a favourite with us.

Being a Saturday lunchtime the restaurant was very busy but wevwerevquickly seated and served at just the right time. The menu was extensive for a lunchtime with wide choice. Me and my guests certainly really enjoyed both courses when they arrived. The service was excellent, our waiter being polite, friendly and efficient. In my opinion an excellent venue for lunch at a very reasonable price.

Lovely food as ever though it was incredibly busy so we did have to wait over 35 minutes for our food but the waiter came to apologise for the wait. we had the weekend lunch special which is such good value and worth the wait!

very busy at 7.30 on a Thursday. Despite having booked we had to wait a while, but once seated we were well looked after by a charming waitress - french, of course. Whatever will happen after Brexit!

First visit to Cote Kingston. Late breakfast. Tried vegetarian breakfast and crepe complete for the first time. Yes, enjoyed especially crepe. Good atmosphere, good service, good value.

I’ve never had a bad meal in cote, food is always good quality, cooked to a good standard and staff are always friendly and accommodating.

Always excellent - location perfect too, which enhances experience. Service just right, prompt, friendly and professional - and difficult to better the food however much you pay.

On a wet Wednesday evening we enjoyed friendly service, good food, reasonable prices. It's a no brainer. As usual the steak frites was delicious and the macchiato perfect.

Cote is truly the only place in kingston we can be confident of great food brilliant service and a warm welcome. Which is why we eat there at least twice a week. We very rarely book on line as we live just a few yards away .

We had a very nice lunch with excellent service. Asked to sit outside and have our coffee and the staff were very happy to move us. 3 Course Lunch is also excellent value for money. We will be back again for sure. Thank you.

It took 20 minutes to get someone to take our order, a further 20 minutes for the food to turn up, and when it did turn up the bacon which we asked to be crispy came back underdone. Then we got the bill to find a 12.5% discretionary tip added on.

We always visit cote because we know what we expect and it never fails and the one in kingston is particularly good. The staff are friendly and nice.

Location brilliant, food and staff always consistent and good, slightly spoilt by beggars entering the garden area where everyone is eating, staff acted instantly and can see this is a real problem

We were entertaining guests from out of town and they were very pleased with their choices from the menu saying that they wished that they had a Cote where they lived. The food and drinks were well presented and very enjoyable, they included one meal from the Children's menu.

This was booked online, so easy no problems, confirmation email received It was an anniversary meal celebrating two anniversaries. We were greeted by a pleasant member of staff We chose our table as not too busy. Staff very attentative but we were allowed time to chat and choose our meal. All the meals chosen we were pleased with, no complaints as all hot and well presented Wine chosen good quality....we will return

The restaurant was pretty full but we still were able to eat outside and watch the river which was great. Service was generally good if a little slow, but this was much better than being rushed to get the table back. We had the celebration meal and the food was delicious and well presented. We would recommend this restaurant to others.

Excellent food and service. One exception was the crepe was slightly chewy. But, that did not spoil the overall experience. We will be returning sometime in the not too distant future

Lovely staff, very helpful and accommodating. Food was almost excellent (risotto was overlooked) and the complementary birthday Kir Royals for all five in our party were much appreciated. This is a regular haunt for us and will continue to be so

My Husband I visit this eatery often. The local is superb looking onto the river always something going on. There is a great buzz in the restaurant the food is always consistent and the staff efficient,

Friendly efficient staff. The fish soup was excellent. Only drawback was that it was a little bit loud and was difficult to hear what my lunch guest was saying.

We love dining at Côte's but we're disappointed with our experience with this one. We sent back a bowl which was dirty. The finger bowl for the moules had cold not not water. The bread came out to go with the fish stew much in advance. Small wine ordered and large came which was then changed. Nothing really major but not up to the standard that we are used to.

Great atmosphere great food . We had anniversary set menu at £27,95 a head which included a complimentary glass of champagne. Excellent value. Duck was exceptional

Always good at Cote, both price wise and food wise. Today even on a Monday, staff seemed somewhat overstretched so service was rather slow. It's always busy at Cote which makes it a tad noisy. Staff remain cheerful and helpful despite being very busy. Very good value for money.
