Côte Kingston

Our party of four had a good Christmas lunch , which we felt was very good value. My only criticism would be for the 8oz Rib Eye steak which was grisly and required me to remove a third of it prior to consuming the course. Other than that, the experience was very enjoyable.

As always a lovely meal at Cote Kingston , good service, friendly staff and great food. Very relaxed and not rushed for a pre Christmas catch up with friends

I’d always recommend this restaurant. The quality of the food, the quality of the cooking and serving, the quality of the service is excellent. The welcome is always warm and genuine. I always forget this is a chain, it’s always at the top of its game and every diner is made to feel special.

Table was ready for us, service was good, there was no rush to ask us to leave the restaurant, and food as always was very good.

Although the restaurant was extremely busy we were met on arrival and shown to our table straight away. The service was excellent and we had the set menu which was terrific value for money

Lovely venue down the riverside, great food with plenty to choose from at very good prices. Definitely worth a visit for lunch and dinner. Recommend house white

Excellent lunch-time menu and very good service from our waiter although it was busy we didn't have to wait long for our meal - overall a very nice lunch. The wine was good too.

Nice efficiency all round. Well cooked food, well presented, slight lack of all the ingredients in the Tuna Niçois but Tuna good. Loos well looked after.

It is aways a good experience. Cote in Kingston is one of the best in the chain. Excellent disabled facilities, and the meal was good.

This was the first time I had visited Côte Brasserie Kingston, and it did not disappoint. The staff were very attentive and particularly helpful to my companion who had specific dietary requirements. The food was delicious and the set lunch menu was excellent value. There was a good selection of reasonably-priced wines, and we enjoyed complimentary Kir Royales on arrival as it was my birthday. All in all, a very positive experience.

Wonderful lunch, the highlight for me was a sensational main course of duck with dauphinois potatoes. Although busy the service was excellent, with no delay between courses. A perfect Sunday lunch!

Waited too long to get a cup of coffee. The waiters were clearly having an off day as in the hour we were there they dropped something 4 times from cultery to plates to cup. Ridiculous. It is a good thing the food never fails because this time, the service did.

Food and drinks were very good but the service as always was a bit hit and miss. Takes far too long to order drinks and then even longer for them to be made

We were a large group for breakfast - 2 6 year olds and 5 adults. Service was excellent, food was yummy and we were never at any point rushed to move on. Good value too!

We were surprised that there was a separate charge for bread. Having lived in France for 21 years , bread is always offered at the start of the meal and usually refilled during the meal and included in the price . In fairness , a carafe of water was provided without being asked. The food and service were excellent and the night- time view of the lights on the river were very romantic.

Great food and friendly service. We only wanted a light and quick meal being quite tired and we got exactly what we wanted. One of our favourite places in Kingston.

The environment is good and the service was good. However, my steak, prepared medium rare, was not tender or enjoyable to eat. I will avoid the steak if I return.

The food was excellent, unfortunately the service was extremely slow. We waited over an 1hr to get our main course, from arrival. Never had slow service like that before, & we have been to this Cote loads of times. We did complain & they gave us our bottle of wine for free. So that helped ease our annoyance. One lady had to leave before we had a chance to order desserts, as we had been there much longer than expected We will go there again as we like the food, & usually the quick service!

Reliable for steak frites and a nice night out. Service was good and there’s a friendly atmosphere especially leading up to Christmas when it’s pretty busy.

A very pleasant lunch in relaxed surroundings away from the Christmas rush of Kingston. Helpful attentive staff. Efficient without being intrusive. A calm time with friends.

We often choose Cote as it's consistently good quality. I especially love the early evening menu for good value and this is one of the main reasons I go. Always good service too, can't fault it!

Cuisine was excellent as were the menus on offer. The service was good on the floor of the restaurant, politie friendly waiters, but the waits between courses were lengthy.

Have been to Cote Kingston a number of times. Set lunch is great value and excellent quality. Service very good and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Not too long a menu but still a good variety. Generous with free water. One desert arrived burnt but staff were very quick to take it off the bill.

We were seated quickly and the drinks order taken. When the drinks arrived we ordered the food. Everything was well presented and tasty and the service was good throughout.

As always it's first class food with first class service. Christmas menu also very interesting and the bonus of an extensive gluten free menu !

I love how Cote frequently updates their afternoon lunch time special menu. Very friendly staff and really enjoyed catching up with an old friend in a very warm and ambient environment.

Always have a great time at Cote. Friendly staff and great service. Especially like the cappuccino's they serve. Good atmosphere with the option of sitting inside or outside.

Friendly welcome, server helpful and courteous, we enjoyed our food which is consistently good, Christmas menu looks good and good value, noise level not great. Of the Côte restaurants that I visit, Kingston is still the best.

It’s a good chain and this one is near Thames River.

Staff were efficient, attentive and very helpful. Food was served promptly well presented and delicious. House red and wine wine quaffable. All in all a very enjoyable lunch, thank you.

Service for drinks very slow. I got my tea at the same time as my food. Might sounds silly but I like to enjoy my coffee or tea before my food and they just were so slow. Then took long to clear our plates, and to check back on us, I had already finished We I was asked if everything was fine. Though the food was great and waiter was friendly.

As always, a great evening at Cote. A nice place to catch up with friends and the food is great value. Ambience is great too.

Very enjoyable lunch. Delightful waiting staff and a friendly and welcoming manager. So glad I booked as it was busy. We do always eat at this Resturant when shopping in Kingston.

A group of six friends. We had the 3 course set menu. Plenty of choice and food was nice and hot. Unfortunately service was quite slow.

Good food, courteous and attentive staff but not rushed. Fair prices I have tried COTE in different locations and so far have always been happy

The service was good and the food was very well balanced with some good flavours and both dishes were well cooked. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Excellent service, great food, value for money. Would recommend to a friend. Always busy and always accommodating. Loved the chocolate sauce pudding with hot chocolate.

Food was delightful and reasonably priced. The menu gave one a good choice and no-one in our party of five were disappointed with their choice with some sharing going on. The drinks on offer provided a wide range and the Merlot we had was good. It is certainly one I would readily return to particularly as the staff were attentive, charming and helpful

We regularly visit Côte Brasserie in Kingston for breakfast. It is great value for money, very tasty and a really comfy setting. Nice atmosphere and good customer service

I go to Cote a lot and always enjoy the food but last night my main was cold, sent it back and still came back the same. Service slowe than normal.
