The staff were lovely although the manager was rude. The food was good value and we would go back again. As with any chain you know what you’re going to get and we got it.

The restaurant has great ambiance and the food is good and reasonably priced. Being by the river on a sunny day is a bonus Recommend

The staff really went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The food was fantastic but, on a purely personal note, there wasn't much on the menu that grabbed my attention.

Food was amazing, staff were so lovely- nothing was too much trouble! They let us finish our food and drink when they had closed. Definitely going again!

Bright and clean, with a charming setting on the river, this was the perfect setting for a summer lunch. Pleasant staff who were efficient without rushing you through your meal Varied French menu including all the staples such as moules, vichyssoise, and pate to start. Very moist poulet Breton and pork belly were tasty. Dessert if you still have room Approachable wine list. Good strong coffee to finish.

Not my first visit and generally all is good. Food always good. On this occasion had to wait a while for dessert selection to be taken and even longer to be brought to the table.

Good food, pleasant experience all round. Perfect for a pre theatre dinner and the free kit royale was a nice touch. Would book there again

i have eaten at Browns on many occassions and have always foind it very good. The atmosphere is friendly and helpful. Three of us had the roast meal which was delicious. Our server was attentive and helpful. A very good experience

I've said for the last few times that I've been to this Cote for breakfast that it would be my last, I think this time I mean it. Our order came up wrong and the tray went back to the kitchen. It reappeared some minutes later and obviously had the same food on it. My eggs benedict were stone cold (the table next to us had ordered the same and had the same issue), as was the toast for the others on my table. It all went back. The next attempt the toast was OK by my eggs only warm, not hot, but decided to stick with it. We love Cote but the amount of times something is wrong with our order out numbers the number of times they get it right. Avoid this Cote if you want a quick bite in the morning as it will take time to get it right.

The atmosphere felt a bit fussy in this occasion; as though the staff were trying too hard to convince us that this was a fine dining establishment. I also asked what I thought was a fairly straightforward question to do with allergies and this seemed to confuse the staff.

Delicious food and excellent service. Really good value for money. In good weather, tables outside allow a good view of the river. Bit noisy inside but good atmosphere.

Service not great. Onion soup VERY disappointing. ...my hus bands steak tough. .Our friends duck....one overcooked and one undercooked. The meal not up to expected standards. Will think twice before returning.

Staff were very pleasant and efficient. The sea bream on the lunch set menu was delicious. My friends enjoyed their meal and we will visit again.

Had a nice evening and the food and service were excellent. Sadly my dessert was not what I expected and much too sweet. The waiter offered an alternative & a free coffee. Overall a nice evening.

Great location on the water front .Typical Cote with good food and service. Waiters gave us a quiet table although restaurant was reasonably busy .

Very efficient and courteous staff Friendly greeting on arrival, the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday evening , as ever our party was promptly seated and served. Drinks and meal were excellent. Our server was particularly helpful .

Lovely people serving their new (to me!) Prestige Lunch Menu - mussels followed by pork belly which were both delicious and excellent value for money. Definitely worth another visit.

Experienced our normal good, tasty and hot food which was served quickly. Slightly disappointed to find out that a favourite pudding (crumble) has been removed from the fixed lunch menu and added to the more expensive prestige menu. Very grateful and many thanks to the manager who sorted out an issue we had.

Excellent food and service, very friendly staff - perhaps a little noisy at busy times, but this is easily made up for by the restaurants superb location, on the riverside a few minutes walk from the centre of Kingston.

The service was excellent and the food was first class. A great experience all round. We will have more Brunches as the value for money was very good.

Excellent food and very friendly staff, have been several times at this place and always a success. Their set menus are very reasonably priced. Book a table if you are planning to come over the weekend as it might be very busy.

A very pleasant evening with good attentive service. Really nice to see the April Specials as the veal escallop is one of our favourite dishes. It was obvious that some waiters were new and inexperienced, but really encouraging to see them being guided and taught by the more experienced staff and hence this in no way affected the service we had. Well done.

Cote Kingston always has a good buzz about the place and never disappoints, even though this time my steak was not cooked as requested this was soon remedied!

Good place for brunch: lovely setting down by the river, good selection of breakfast options, friendly staff and (importantly) nice coffee. No specific children’s menu I don’t think but still child friendly.

Cote is one of the best restaurants in Kingston. The food and service is good and the ambiance just right. Today I went with five friends and we had an amazing meal.

Good food and service. Always love the Goat's Cheese salad - large bowl of roasted vegetables, decent portion of Goat's cheese and an Olive Tapenade...

Lovely food, as,usual you can always bank on consistency in this regard across the Cote restaurants. One small gripe, we wish the waiters would not fill up your glass with wine; some of us are driving but you don't always get the chance to say no in time before the wine is in your glass. Other than that, perfect, did not wait long for food and service was what we have come to expect from Cote, friendly attentive and efficient.

First visit to the Cote Brasserie in Kingston. Very friendly and attentive staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Food, as always was excellent. Will not be our last visit.

Cote on Kingston is a super place to meet friends for a meal and a drink. The good is great and the prosecco is delicious. It's our go to place. Sign up to get a free bottle of wine.

Always a good place to eat. Busy mid-week at lunchtime as usual but rather noisy this time until it thinned out a bit. There was no pressure for us to leave and the food was tasty. Will be back soon.
