The food was as good as always . The staff are excellent all the time. Can only say we always enjoy going to Cote’s and will continue to do so.
Excellent service. Friendly staff and manager. Excellent food and drink. Perfect summers evening meal out.
Great service from our waiter. A lovely Indian guy ..genuinely warm and attentive . Food very good as usual. Thank you
The food, staff and ambience were fine but it was too noisy. We could not hear ourselves talk. We were celebrating a birthday and this was notified when making the table booking. I expected a bit of acknowledgement, a happy birthday or something. The restaurant was busy though, and the staff were rushed off their feet.
Good meal and atmosphere .Cool inside on a hot day. Service very good after slow start.
Party of eight with two children. Service really attentive and the food all up to the usual standard.Discount on children's food at end because of late delivery really welcome. Particularly appreciated the staff joining in the birthday singing. We'll be back .
Love it. This is the fifth time we have had breakfast in this restaurant. We have dinner there as well every time we are in london, We live in Brittany.
The staff were very proffesional. Good service. However, the chicken in the chicken salad was a little too dry. It could have been so much better. But we will still come again.
Good, but chicken in the salad was a little too dry.
Lovely food and service, great Gluten Free menu. Bit long to receive our meal but this was an accident and was explained to us graciously. Sadly though too noisy in the restaurant that we could not chat easily.
Beautiful setting, lovely food and wonderful service, just a bit busy and the noise level was quite high but overall a lovely meal
Great friendly service with excellent customer service. Every time I have been here with friends and family, large groups and small ones I am always impressed! Thank you
We had a very nice time. Happy that the breakfast time is till 1pm. However there could be more variety
Very lovely food, Tasty. Good portion sizes. Good service. Would definitely recommend.
Great food and equally great service. Love the latest lunch menu.
Excellent service, food, atmosphere and good value for money. Thanks.
Lovely food and atmosphere but two mistakes were made with the bill which were corrected but did detract from the experience.
Lovely meal but tried to charge extra for something that was complementary, shouldn’t have to point this out
Busy, good atmosphere. Food good as always but a long wait for different courses to be ordered and drinks brought
We really enjoyed the food and the service. The waiter Damion was as tasty as the food!
An enjoyable meal in the brasserie, with a good atmosphere on a pleasant summer evening. Menu offers plenty of choice, so we selected very French starters and main course. We were not disappointed! Waiting staff were helpful but not pushy, polite and attentive. We were seated just inside the sliding doors which were open as it was a warmish evening, this made for a pleasant outside feeling without getting chilly. The location is excellent, just on the riverside, but convenient for transport.
Choosing from the Prestige Set lunchtime menu we were told that we were not permitted to choose two starters instead of a starter and a main. My friend decided she did not want a main course. We shared a crème brulee. I find it surprising and disappointing that choosing two starters instead of a starter and main is not allowed. After all we were paying the same price especially as no reduction was given for the main course not taken.
It was a lovely lunch. We both had the Breton Roast Chicken and a bottle of Muscadet. Chicken was ver nicely cooked and served, but a but stingy with green beans. I like Cote very much but there is one aspect that is slightly irritating is when they bring water and state that it is complimentary. It is tap water, which should be provided as a matter of course. Otherwise all very good. Nice new girl called Katerina served us.
An amazing evening at a very special restaurant! Great care was taken to ensure I had an excellent range of delicious gluten-free dishes to choose from and my meal was perfect. My husband and I loved celebrating our anniversary meal here, with a fantastic view of the river.
We really love to come for Saturday lunch at Cote- it’s our favourite date. Thanks
Excellent venue location, staff and brunch, as usual!!! There's many restaurants along the riverside in Kingston, but this is my favourite!
Had an excellent meal from the August specials menu, all staff where friendly and efficient as always. It all made for a lovely Sunday afternoon. Thank you.
Always a pleasure to dine at Côte Kingston. Our relatives from Hong Kong enjoyed the experience
Been to cote before nice food but a bit noisy worth a visit
We are regulars - always welcoming- good service and quality food.
We were a little early but had a great welcome, very friendly and attentive staff and food was excellent as always
We love cote and always hunt them out. They’re usually great quality and decent value. We booked at Kingston for 7pm. We had a lovely table but the service was appalling. We couldn’t get anyone’s attention. We had our pre dinner drinks glasses left on the table the whole meal. The mashed potato was lumpy. We had to ask for drinks, ask for he bill and gave up asking for a spoon and got one ourselves. I’m really disappointed in myself I was too embarrassed to say I wouldn’t give the tip. Our whole meal took over 2 hours. Too long and not worth the wait
Lovely meal well presented and good value for money. Staff very attentive and very quick service
We have been to Cote many times and think it good value if rather noisy. On this trip however we both had upset stomachs. I had the calamari, we both had steak frites, I had chocolate fondant whilst my wife had the apple tart. This is not the first time we have had upset stomachs after eating and are puzzled why this happens, perhaps it is the water.
Good as usual. Pleased to see specific vegetarian menu with plenty of choice. Pleasant atmosphere, no rush, friendly staff.
Lovely food, good service and good value, what more could you want
I would prefer bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Rib eye steak was highly salted. I would prefer less salt. Chocolate mousse could be half the size. It was perfect but too large. Service was excellent. It was a birthday treat for me and it was a beautiful meal.
Excellent staff , very accommodating, cheerful and efficient thank you
Nice as always. Good service, good food. A winning combination.
Good food, service. white noise to break-up loudness may help.
A lovely balmy evening celebrating a friends birthday- a great atmosphere , service was initially very slow but the restaurant was packed . Improved as the evening went on - noise levels very high
When Sylvia and I decided to meet once or twice a year to keep up our friendship which has lasted over seventy-five years, it was a question of deciding where to meet that would be convenient for both of us. We decided on Kingston because of easy access for both os us by public transport. Because I had had experience of Cote at Dorking and at Reigate and because the towpath setting at Kingston was so attractive, we decided on Cote, Kingston and are very pleased that we did. The service was excellent and the menu was just what we liked and very reasonable. A very happy occasion. We have arranged to come again in the spring, although my husband and I will be with you much sooner.
A long lunch with a great friend. We were not rushed. Service was excellent and food very good. Nothing to fault.
Always lovely , great food great service... would love to see Soup De Poisson on the menu
Always a high standard of food and service. Kingston always very noisy so hard to converse. Went to Cotes Teddington instead last time - much quieter.
we had a really enjoyable meal in the Kingston Cotes, our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu . food was excellent, service was quick and the atmosphere was relaxing as we were seated looking out at the river. would highly recommend.
Excellent service. Good, reliable menu and lovely location. Overall good value for money.
Loved our supper at Cote Kingston as always. Really good sea bass with fennel - tho difficult to resist fish stew!
Had the most wonderful meal looking out on to the river. Our waiter was extremely attentive and knowledgeable of the menu .The food was of a very high standard and the ambience was very relaxing . Would highly recommend Kingston Cotes Brassiere.
Excellent and tasty food served promptly by friendly and efficient staff.
