The Breton fish stew was very disappointing; the recipe/ingredients have been changed and is not a patch on the dish previously offered. The French onion soup had to be sent back for reheating and took 10 minutes to be returned, the waiter having forgotten about it As partly evidenced by the above , the normally exemplary service was not up to scratch. However, overall we had an enjoyable time and return on 29 December when I hope the restaurant reverts to its normal high standard.

Had a most enjoyable lunch with friends. Charlie looked after us beautifully.

Our waiter was very thoughtful and kind. He offered a drink for our friend’s 94th birthday today which delighted her no end. Made her day when the little candle came on her ice cream - a lovely gesture! Daphne was delighted, over the moon. The small touches made a huge impact on her lunch out. Thank you so much.

Great Location and Service. The food was lovely I would have added bread to be included with the main dish as had a lot of sauce which was wasted.

Diligent and friendly service. We booked 30 mins before online. When we arrived, we were seated right away. The meat was deliciously prepared. And chose the Tarte fine aux pommes which is a perfect dessert to finish the meal with.

Simply perfect, it was our waiters first time serving and he was amazing and seems to know when to approach and when to leave us to enjoy our food.

Good food, prompt service- who. Outdoor ask for anything more, especially on a busy Saturday before Christmas

Lunch at Cote Kingston never disappoints. Only complaint would be that the rear of the restaurant is a ‘tad’ noisy. On today’s occasion though I had a table at the front ! Great.

Very busy but very efficient service especially as we had a concert to get to.

Good food at a reasonable price in a nice atmosphere. BUT.... they had run out of apple and berry crumble when we ordered it at about 6.30pm (that's very early!). Had we known at the outset we would have chosen from the basic set menu instead of the Prestige set menu. Otherwise all good.

The 3 course meals at Cote Brasserie are always delicious and a great value. Love this restaurant in Kingston. Great location!

Having had breakfast at cotes about every 3 weeks we still go back. This time one of our breakfasts wasn’t quite up to their high standard, however it was taken off our bill, so dealt with I’m a good way. Everyone are always helpful efficient & friendly, our favourite place.

All very good as usual, except A/C. We and 2 other couples moved because of cold draft. Needs fixing. Had same problem at Teddington.

Generally excellent. However, disappointed we were not allowed to have the festive menu as we were told we should have pre booked it. If that's a policy it should be made more clear.

We booked for a late post concert meal from 10 pm so the restaurant wasn't so busy but there was no tired late evening atmosphere. Everything was immaculate and the staff were friendly and attentive and we had a view of the illuminated riverside. The food was lovely and excellent value for money. Genuine French cooking. Thank you.

Beef Bourguignon very good Chateaubriand excellent Cheese - perfect Tart fine aux pommes - lacking pommes But v tasty pastry Creamed spinach - absolutely dreadful; too watery and drab - running with fluid - must try much better Wine - great and not overpriced Bread - Good - but was it sour dough or french stick? French beans - perfect Service - a bit wanting ...... Table - stuck at the back

Though on a Saturday early evening the restaurant was busier and noisier than we feel comfortable with we were given the quietest possible table. We were having a pre-theatre supper which ruled out the first choice of a dish which would have entailed too long a wait but what we had – the pork belly – was tasty and well prepared. (Shame about the crackling though which definitely didn't crackle.) Service was pleasant and efficient and all in all it was a good experience and one to be repeated.

We chose from the Prestige Set Menu which as usual was excellent. Very good value for money. The only downside of the experience was the noise within the restaurant which makes conversation difficult but that didn't spoil the overall experience. The food was great.
