I was recommended a duck dish from the waiter and it was delicious

Service was very good and efficient as usual, staff is friendly and smiley - and I am always pleased to find out how high standards is my own meals are and carefully separated, being on gluten free died. Good value for your money. Can be bit busy and noisy at peak times.

Really lovely to walk in and the duty manager who you’ve only met on perhaps three occasions greet you by name. The standard of service stayed at this level throughout the meal

Very slow service. We had to request water several times (took over 20 mins after the first request, despite us being 2 yards from the water bottles), then had to request glasses several times as only 2 were brought for a party of 6. Our orders were finally taken 40 minutes after the table booking. The bread - which some were having as a starter - came after the others had finished their starters. After we were finished with the main, We had to wait another 15 minutes for them to be collected. It seems there are simply too few wait staff to provide even an average level of service at the weekend.

Just as we hoped for, a fine winter Côte meal.

Food was nice and very good value but I felt rushed. The waitress approached me to suggest I ring my friend and read the menu to her over the phone so that I could place the order for both of us before the 7pm deadline for the January offer, otherwise, she said we would have to pay more for the set menu. This was therefore not exactly a relaxed dining experience.

Fantastic food for a very fair price. I had the small 2-course menu. The starter (potted pork with toast) was very tasty and the serving was generous. The main course chicken breast was also excellent; a nice touch was the the dressing of bacon and miniature onions. My wife had the dessert as she loves the creme caramel. The service was also excellent (Iza). Great lunch.

Cote Kingston is a favourite venue for lunch. The location, wonderful staff and delicious food are the reasons for regular visits.

Enjoyed the January offer of Evening Menu @ £9.95. Haddock gugons a highlight. Service as always efficient and friendly.

Kingston is my cote, as it very well lit. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This is our favourite restaurant - it’s in a lovely place, the food is consistently good and the service is always wonderful. The staff go the extra mile for you, even when it’s very busy!

Waitress very smiley, food very good. One problem, it was a bit drafty where we sat.

The usual very acceptable meal for myself and my wife with good service. The Kingston branch has a nice feel to the room, especially being on the riverside. Two points, though. My wife found the steak in the steak frites tough, and I was charged for a bottle of wine we didn’t have. We had a voucher for the wine, but the bill showed 2 @ £22.50, with £22.50 taken off. It was soon rectified and a small amount taken off the bill. But an odd mistake to make, which left a nasty taste.

There were three of us and we each had a three course meal from their afternoon/early evening menu. Fabulous value for money, good range of choices and lovely food. The service was exceptional (as usual at Cote) and we really couldn’t fault a thing. The setting by the river in Kingston is superb, would be great for dining out in summer. But the atmosphere inside was warm and buzzing on the day we went. Highly recommended.

Good food as usual. Had to explain the January offer to staff and the bill had to be changed accordingly. This was disappointing. However we all enjoyed the visit.

When I booked on line I was offered a £2 discount on set menu when I got bill it was £1.55 - not bothered about 45p but you should be consistent

News Years day family breakfast. The staff were warm friendly and efficient despite having to work the day after NYE . We often use Cote in Kingston for breakfast and will continue to do so as we have never been dissatisfied .
