Excellent food for a reasonable price with friendly service. A bit noisy

Our group of four all very much enjoyed our evening st the restaurant. We were greeted warmly and served dinner efficiently. Our meals were all excellent. The personnel looked after us well. Weronika, in particular, was helpful and charming. All in all, a great evening.

Very good breakfast and service while seating. However, the final greeting, lack of help and almost complete passiveness when leaving with the baby buggy through a very busy terrace, left me a rather negative taste.

Food came too quickly before we finished our aperitif . Our fault for ordering too soon,so not really the restaurants fault. Will in future drink our aperitif then order.

Pleasant, non-intrusive and efficient service. Food of the of the high quality we have come to expect from Cote. Lovely surroundings and an altogether very enjoyable evening.

I am a fan of Côté. I regularly eat in Cote in London and Kingston. Recently I’ve felt the service in both has declined. Today in Kingston I asked for the bill to be split between two credit cards. The waitress couldn’t manage to do that. We gave her the maths. She did not give me a receipt. Moments later I asked her for it. She said it wasn’t possible to give me one as she couldn’t then identify the card machine used. She told me to just take her word for it. Very poor customer service. I’ll try another restaurant next time.

Food was fantastic. Staff always attentive to our needs. It’s my favourite place to eat. My fathers birthday on this occasion. Everyone left happy. Thank you! 👍 Patrick

Love COTE and it’s Menu, good food, better g choice, friendly atmosphere, but staff is a little bit slow! Still we go there and enjoy this restaurant in any part of London!

An excellent 3 course meal, my favourite starter (whitebait) followed by boeuf en croute- superb pastry- finished off with crème caramel-real value for money with superb service. Looking forward to visiting you again. Thank you

We always have a great experience dining at Cote in Kingston. The team are very professional, attentive and friendly. I enjoyed the Crab Bisque - special and hope that makes it to the main menu. I also adore the baked goats cheese starter so that would also be good to have on a regular basis. Thank you too for the complimentary cocktails - very much appreciated.

not What it used to be. Tuna was off, food was cold and delivered slow. Staff gracious about it though but want to old cote back! Are you skimping ?

The complete experience was first class, from the moment we arrived until we left, my wife and I were treated like valued customers. One aspect in particular to mention is that higher priced wines were available by the glass.

My wife and our children regularly visit Cote, a favourite eaterie of ours. Never had any concerns till latest visit with in laws. Wife and m-in -law both had dreadful upset tummies and diarrhoea within hours of eating prawn starter. Myself and f-in-law had a delicious meal! Have been in contact with manager who assures us this is being investigated in a timely fashion. I don't think this would stop us coming back however.

Great food and service. We arrived before 7pm so had the excellent and very reasonable set menu. And right on the river. Will be back!

The food was delicious and staff were very attentive. The only thing that let it down was that the atmosphere and ambience inside the restaurant was very noisy and extremely busy, so wasn’t a very relaxing Sunday lunch... it was quite a relief to leave!

Wonderful birthday lunch with my two daughters. Fab cocktails, unexpected complimentary fizz to start the proceedings followed by delicious food, at great value for money and as usual impeccable service from all staff.A lovely afternoon was had by all, I will be returning soon! Wendy Kingston

We had to re-book from lunch due to family emergency, and all was handled with efficiency. On arrival at our later evening time we were warmly greeted and shown our table immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and ensured that our whole evening experience went smoothly and enjoyably. Food as usual was excellent, the special offer Blood Orange Martini set us off perfectly, and our wine was the perfect accompaniment. This was our 45th Valentine, and we had a very enjoyable evening - Thank you to all the front and back of house staff involved.

Excellent food with friendly attentive staff. a pleasurable experience all round. The setting looking out over the river Thames is so pretty and in the summer you can sit outside.

In a Beautiful location, with well prepared food and attentive staff it has all the necessary ingredients for a good meal. For a Saturday night the restaurant wasn’t heaving but it wasn’t quiet either, we were seated promptly and our order taken in a friendly and efficient manner . The staff were attentive enough to feel we were not forgotten but not overly so. The food was delivered without fuss and in a time appropriate for the business of the kitchen. The atmosphere was pleasant, the tables not too closely packed together and we felt that there was no rush. We will definitely be eating at Cote again.

A very good lunch with friends. My mussels were too salty- but everything else was well cooked! Pork crackling excellent. My husband enjoyed the linguine. Chicken dish the usual high standard and not overdone. Thank you Cote

Even though the restaurant was completely full on Sunday at lunch time, our service was good, food was delicious and prices are reasonable. Thank you Cote - a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The resturant was rather noisy. Otherwise service was slow,which did not bother us as we were not in a rush. Mussels could have been hotter and portion size wason the small size.

As per usual, an excellent meal, incredibly speedy service, friendly staff, and the best black pudding I have ever had. An absolute pleasure as usual! Thanks!

Really enjoyed my Mother’s Day breakfast at cote Kingston. We were warmly greeted and seated promptly. Service was first class. This was the first time that my 18 year old son could afford to take me out and even though he was paying he commented on the fact it was very good value for money. Have been several times before and look forward to many more. Thank you.

Really good food, well served and a happy ambience. Cost very reasonable for 2 or 3 courses for our group of four. We’ve all been visiting Cote for many years and the quality remains extremely high.

I took my sister-in-law and my two neices to Cote for a birthday lunch. We had a great time. Delicious food, good service, pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend Cote to anyone.

Our first visit to Kingston Cote and not a scratch on the one in Guildford. Appreciate it was very busy due to it being such a lovely day but the service wasn't as slick as it could have been. The food as well wasn't to the same standard either. We had a good evening out but in future will stick with Guildford.

Great service A good variety of menus for breakfast.food was served fresh and hot. My only negative point is it is very noisy but they kindly moved us somewhere else.

Belatedly celebrating my birthday with two old school friends. The food was delicious, had my second roast pork belly here and again was not disappointed. The waiting staff were friendly and efficient, the atmosphere in the restaurant was great and not too noisy. We arrived at 1.15 p.m. and left the restaurant at 5.30 p.m.! Hence to say we will be back!

We ordered seafood (including the Bretan fish stew). The food was tasty and light (low fat). Service was helpful, although a couple of things we ordered (I asked for olive oil and balsamic vinegar to go with the bread) never arrived. The usual "is everything OK?" check never happened.

Pleasantly welcomed, although we were early. Quiet, but it busied up. Solicitous service commenced with a thoroughly quechable (?) and refreshing gin cocktail to celebrate March, gratis! I enjoyed my simple choice of courses -Roquefort salad and steak frites, but could still cast an envious eye across the table at a grilled Breton chicken. Good choice, too!

We had a very enjoyable lunch at Cote Kingston. The restaurant was very busy but the staff were attentive and the food was excellent. We will return.

Despite being incredibly busy on Mothering Sunday, the restaurant managed to increase the number of my table at very short notice. The staff were charming, attentive and very good. The food was excellent and served with no noticeable delays. A lovely experience thank you

A very pleasant experience with happy staff and an enjoyable meal. We will certainly return and would recommend this restaurant. The only better thing is when the weather is warmer and we can book a table on the terrace beside the river.

The only thing that wasn't perfect was the weather- cold and pouring rain! We were able to take advantage of the free aperitifs and the food and wine was excellent. A great restaurant in a lovely location
