Côte Kingston

The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. I was made to feel safe and welcome.

My partner and I have visited the restaurant for a Sunday lunch, and we can proudly say we have kore than enjoyed our first meal after the quarantine. We arrived earlier than our table was booked for however we were seated straight away having the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The staff was very polite and friendly, and the food smelt, looked and tasted amazing. Thank You for a lovely experience. We will definitely be visiting again!

It was lovely to see the regular team - Manager and all the staff - and be greeted on arrival. The restaurant was very well organised and we had a lovely table. It was just like old times but obviously with Covid safety measures.

This was the first time we have gone to a restaurant since they have reopened. Everything is very organised and tables situated with social distancing measures. Staff were very friend and excellent food. A very enjoyable early evening meal.

Our first outing since lockdown. Great outing on this glorious sunny day in Kingston. Most enjoyable. Food delish! Ordered our usuals from the Rapide menu poulet grille and steak frites plus green salad. They gave us a nice table near the door and far enough away from other diners. Our favourite waiter served us and all the staff were friendly, helpful and pleased to welcome us back. Thank you Cote. Look forward to our next visit soon.

Really lovely day Out on the terrace with excellent food

Great food and service but we were initially seated at a table where staff passed by our table very closely all the time. I do feel the two tables in the middle shouldn't really be used at the moment,

We were so pleased to be able to book a table for lunch and also that the menu had not changed (apart from no set menus). The food was good but the service was a little slow, but we were not in a hurry and they must have pulled out all the stops to actually open the restaurant. Friendly staff all with plastic visors. Glad it's open! First meal out since February.

Back to Cote after lockdown. Pleased to see it functioning at the same high standard as before...with a few tweaks for COVID.

Second visit within ten days, dining separately with our two teenage grandsons at lunchtime. Simply great to be back at Cote and the perfect riverside venue.Welcoming; excellent menu, staff outstanding given the circumstances. We were made to feel totally safe and sound. A real treat, wll done Cote.

Not been to this Côte before. On the river near to Kingston Bridge. A most pleasant and comfortable restaurant. Usual Côte value for money. One small point though: my ribeye steak was a little too tough and that’s why I docked a star above. Everything else very good.

Service was a little bit too fast. Food was good.

First meal out in 4 months. All staff made every effort for customers to feel reassured measures being taken to make sure we are all safe. Real buzz. Everyone (customers and staff) are so glad to be back. Great evening with a bottle of bubbles to celebrate!

Ah the new normal!! Seemed like old times, in other words VERY GOOD.

Very enjoyable to dine at Cote again. We waited for a table outside which was a benefit of the location. Staff were courteous helpful and the hygiene was very good. The visors were good to see the faces of staff rather than masks. Food was delicious as always.

Such a treat for our first post lockdown meal out and to celebrate our daughter’s 18th. Felt very safe and enjoyed the usual excellent food and service. Highly recommended.

So happy to be back! Getting back to some sort of normality! All of the precautions put in place helped us all to be safe and comfortable.

Being a regular at Cote brasserie it was not as good as normal.Waited some time for are drinks. Order starters but half way through the main course arrived,we had to send this back. The steak frites was not pink , and the pastry was over cooked and flat in the desert. Also one of us had a coffee which was a long wait. Because we have always loved Cotes we didn’t complain. But we need it to be as good as normal. We will be back in the hope that it improves

Staff were first class, the Co19 adjustments worked very well. The lunchtime food was delicious.

The staff were amazing, the food was great and really fresh. There were a few meals missing which I really loved before so hopefully I will see them back soon. Thank you :)))

Great to come back after being a regular customer of Cotes

It was great to be eating good quality food prepared by someone else. Lots of space and protection. So nice to be out!

Crab mayonnaise, calamari, pork belly, beef bourguignon, creme caramel - all hit the spot beautifully! Well done Cote, welcome back to business -see you again very soon!

Excellent food and location and staff and great Covid measures

This was our first visit to a restaurant since mid-March and we were so happy to be sitting outside looking at the river again. The food, wine and coffee were just as we remembered them, and the service was friendly and efficient. All the expected Covid precautions were in place but in no way constrained our enjoyment. Thank you all for contributing to a memorable return to 'normality'.

So glad to have Cote back. You do it so well. The lamb chops were excellent. Crepes wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great to see the restaurant buzzing. Good spacing of tables- close enough for atmosphere but not as close as they used to be (which was too crammed). Staff all jovial - though were v hot under the visors - maybe masks better?

Really pleased with our first restaurant experience since lockdown (we had tried a pub a couple of time). We were so lucky to get a really good outside table though would have eaten inside with no concerns. Staff really friendly and helpful through their visors. Well done guys!

So nice to have a delicious meal with you again and so hope Wimbledon branch opens soon too. Would have loved quicker service, especially between main course and pudding but in the end it’s ok, we are just happy to be out again. Thank you all at Côte. We have missed you a lot. The food was fantastic and the staff brilliant in their effort to be polite and courteous.

Staff attentive and adhering to Safety measures associated With Covid-19 and food was great. No complaints

Great food last night, but a few teething problems since reopening following the lock down. Slow service. Wrong wine came. Only one starter after ordering two. Then the starter came with and as a main course. Bit disappointed if I’m truthful but we do love Cote B as a restaurant. We’ve visited lots of them on our travels so we will be back.

Service was excellent, very attentive staff and all measures taken to ensure social distancing without taking away from the dining experience. Only reason I haven’t given full stars is due to the reduced menu/availability of items of the menu but what we did have was good quality.

Our waiter was absolutely charming; the ambiance in the restaurant was pleasant; and the food was delicious. (I had the salmon and ratatouille and my friend had the tuna Nicoise salad, and we also had a basket of bread and a bottle of wine.) In addition, we thought the anti-coronavirus measures were sensible and well judged.
