Lovely food great service definitely recommend didn't pay the service charge added as it was optional gave my own tip to the waitress we had she did a lovely job

Fantastic food, but took a very long time to arrive (over half an hour wait, a lot of other tables got their food before we did). One of our desserts also took significantly longer than the others (it was a fondant, so maybe the first one didn't come out great), but it would have been nice to have had this explained - the one we did get was fantastic!

Enjoyed vegetarian dish, and friend had fish cooked to perfection , dark chocolate dessert awesome. Pleased with service too. Definitely will come back again. Thank you

Great quick steak/frites lunch. Good service and lovely views of river and boats going past. Restaurant busy and good atmosphere. Everything very clean as usual.

Excellent food with lots of choice. The wine list was excellent too. The service was superb with very friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't fault the whole evening.

The food was good however, the service was extremely slow. We waited a long time for our meals having started at 1:15pm and leaving just before 4:00pm. I could see the place was busy but really, it's half-term, it's lunchtime so surely management should have thought about having more staff to compensate. I rarely take off the tip on the bill but this time I did. It's a shame as the food was good but it spoiled the experience.

As always with Cote, the food was excellent - perfectly cooked steaks and the most sublime creme brulee I've had for a long time! The service was really good too. Can highly recommend Cote Kingston.

Love coming here because it it right by the thames which is lovely. I love the great serve which is provided when i visit and also the food always tastes great!

Delicious food in pleasant riverside setting. Maitre d' most unwelcoming. Practically empty restaurant and we asked to sit at a table next to the one she had shown us too - and she was extremely unhelpful.

Great food and service. Food delivery was slightly slow- was about to ask when it arrived - so not too bad really I arrived early for my apppintment/ booking so asked to sit outside with a glass of water to wait. No problem, courteous service throughout

Cote staff in Kingston are very helpful and the food is always good and real value for money. Cote set menu is excellent too. I recommend Côte Brasserie in Kingston.

Cote is consistently good in terms of food and service, making it a great value meal out. Also very accommodating of our seating needs (keeping pram next to table).

The waiters weren't very attentive and seemed very distracted even though it wasn't very busy. we're not sure we'll go again which is a shame as the food was fine

Food and atmosphere very good. Staff are all very helpful,and it's always a pleasure to visit any Cote branches. Food is always of a high standard.

Unfortunately we didn't get our window table as requested but it was really busy and they did let us choose where we wanted to sit and gave us a glass of bubbly, which was nice. The 4 stars were for the food, it was just ok, the fish pie was quite salty and the Breton fish stew was tiny, I had to give my husband my fish pie!! Puddings were lovely though.

Bit noisy in the evenings so hard to talk & service a bit slow. Quite hot in the back where we were sitting, but the food was nice

Good location. Food was good for three of us however it was not the case for one of my invitee who had the fish pie , as she found 2 fish bones in her dish, the waitress contended herself to state she will inform the chef, for my invitee it spoiled her enjoyment of her meal.

I have always had great service and the menu always provides something I want, particularly the steaks. The bonus for the Kingston Cote is the superb location overlooking the river and the lively busy atmosphere you find in a French brasserie.

Come here often and usually love the food and the great service. First time ever we had poor quality food; starter of mushroom brioche was literally spoon of mushroom sauce thrown on the corner of some brioche ... terrible presentation! Dessert of creme caramel also thrown on dish ... looked awful! Service started well, but went way downhill. Had to ask for coffee and bill repeatedly. Admittedly it was very busy, but have always experienced consIntently high standard of food and service .... please don't change! We love coming here!

Booking a table was easy, the restaurant had a Lovely atmosphere, pleasant service by the staff, no hassle from the staff during meal. The meals we ordered were delicious, even the house wine, on th whole the experience was a Good one and I'd go there again.

Our waiter showed us to a table which was a bit quieter as the restaurant was very busy. The set menu before 7 pm is very reasonable.

Fine but like most restaurants, a little noisy due to low maintenance decor etc Otherwise excellent as usual. Finally, it would be nice if the desserts would occasionally change.

Food was excellent, service acceptable for a busy Friday night. Staff was friendly and knew the menu's and wines well. Can recommend, you always get good quality food.

Always a pleasure to eat at Cote...the lunch menu is excellent and at a reasonable price plus a lovely riverside setting now the weather is warm enough to eat outside.

Nice, slightly expensive as we missed the early bird deal. The waiter was helpful but the restaurant was busy so we waited quite a long time.

Very good and attentive service. My fish main course came and the fish WA dry and very obviously overlooked. Things go wrong but it is how they are dealt with that matters. The state of my fish was acknowledged apologised for and replaced within five minutes with a beautifully cooked one. Hope to again soon. Marcia Rangeley

Good enough service. We are regular customers so unhappy the staff didn't know who we were as you have changed the whole staff instead of keeping half to train the new staff. Not very happy which is A shame as the original staff were really good and efficient.

We love Cote! Great service, very good food, served quickly and at reasonable prices. We had a great night and the staff made us feel really welcome despite a particularly busy evening.

We had a really lovely and enjoyable meal and particularly lovely service from our waitress who went out of her way to look after us.

Very poor customer service. I had no starter because the order was messed up & my side of chips turned up after my main was finished with no apology.

GOOD MEAL. WELL-COOKED AND HIGH QUALITY FOOD SERVED WITH A HIGH LEVELOF COMPETENCE FROM THE STAFF. ISSUES DEALT WITH EFFECTIVELY AND COURTEOUSLY. VERY COMFORTABLE AND WINE SERVED AT CORRECT TEMPERATURE AFTER A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF NEGOTIATION. DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND FOR QUALITY OF FOOD, DRINK AND SERVCE.

We had a most enjoyable evening. Lovely atmosphere and attentive waiting staff. We chose from the early evening menu, the food was really tasty and beautifully presented. Excellent value for money. A great experience.

Nice atmosphere but the staff were not very attentive. The food was delicious and we managed to get a table outside which was lovely. Overall, good.

This visit was a bit disappointing. We visit Cote quite a lot and are reward members and the service and quality are usually very good value. However on this evening the service was lacking in particular. It was only about half full when we arrived but service was slow. We ordered drinks and asked for water (twice) before it came. Then we ordered, we shared a starter and asked for plates to share which again took more Han one request. Our mains didn't come for nearly an hour after we ordered, even though tables near us came in after us and still got served their mains before we did. We will go back, as this is unusual but in this case it was not up to par.

Would be a 6 other than sitting in a draught from aircon. Asked to move tables none available as Mother's Day breakfast. Fast efficient service. Asked for 12.5% service charge to be removed from bill so I could leave a cash tip of greater value. It seems the thing to do in all London restaurants bars and hotels to add the "optional" service charge. I personally think this leaves waiting staff undertipped for good service and overtipped for bad.

Left before eating due to atrocious attitude of the lady maitre de - my guest arrived early and asked for a glass of tap water - was advised water was only normally given when order had been taken. Wad begrudgingly given water. We were seated next to a table of 10. Was noisy - when asked to move maitre de was extremfly abrupt and said she would move us if WE saw that a table had become free. Not the manner of service I expect or expect to receive - quote disgraceful - left Restsurant before ordering and went to Browns. Will never return to cote in Kingston ever!!!! Work in the city of london and staff like that with such bad attitude wouldn't last 2 minutes - take note Côte - wrong person for the job....very glad I did not part with my hard earned cash on staff with attitude! Good night and good bye!

Great food and nice restaurant, unfortunately we weren't really asked for drinks after we ordered the aperitif and the food is a little bit expensive.

Excellent service, food delicious and piping hot and waitress gave us a nice booth table at the back without forgetting about us when it came to ordering or getting the bill at the end. Lovely ambience too.

We are always happy with the food and like the menu variety. Located in a great part of Kingston making it one of our favourite Cote.

Food was lovely - we had a really nice time! Very nice free bottle of Chablis! All in all a pleasant, enjoyable experience with nice friendly waiting staff.
