Côte Kingston

Despite pre-ordering our food the service was no quicker which is disappointing. I would consider not going back to Cote for this reason alone. Food was good as always just very slow coming from the Kitchen

I am a regular customer and most of the time it's always very good. Service was a bit slower this time and my main wasn't very good. They offered a free sweet which seemed fair.

We were greeted and shown straight to our table. Service was prompt, friendly and unobtrusive. The staff checked throughout that we were happy with our meal. The food was excellent for each one of our five individuals in the party. Bill as produced when requested on time and again we were asked if we were happy with everything. I would say that this restaurant did everything to ensure happy diners and repeat customers. Thanks so much!!!

The waitress was very rude .Did tell the manager but he was very busy.We asked for a quiet area and the manager done his best but as two of us wear hearing aides it was still to loud .Will not go to Kingston again .Will try Richmond or go to the teddington one .Found it very strange that one of our group couldn't have the peach crumble because he didn't have that menu .As it was his 80 bithday I let him have mine .A sale was lost because of this silly rule .Food as always was very good

Excellent,always reliable and consisant, we always enjoy our experience at Cote. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The food was a good quality and standard.

The food was excellent as always, the service was excellent too. We did like the complementary Kir Royales, which made my Birthday celebration very special.

Unfortunately the service at the restaurant tonight was very poor, staff seemed to Ben more interested in socialising and many of the conversations seemed inappropriate for the workplace...

We had to wait more than an hour and a half for our mains as they seemed to forget about us. The service was disappointing but they did give us some free deserts and wine to make up for it which we appreciated.

This is a very noisy restaurant! Have now been here several times and, on this occasion, the noise level was worse than ever, even though the place was not full. Food was good, as usual, and the waiter was very pleasant and took time to ensure everything was all right. Don't suppose anything can be done about the noise, however.

I was very impressed with the service and the food at the restaurant. The staff were friendly and the bill was surprisingly very reasonable. Good location, good service, good food and good company.

Nice food for my birthday but they messed up order and food was cold so all has to be recooked. Manager was very good though in sorting out and amended bill etc to cover it.

Great service and delicious food! A beautiful location on the river. Always a good meal with cote and I would highly recommend this one to all

Food was all delivered at different times which is the only reason it wasn't a 6! Friendly service, very attentive. Also enjoy the varied menu.

The food was excellent, but it was really noisy in there and we couldn't hear each other speak. They didn't seem to have enough waiting staff either.

Absolutely amazing food. We had ribeye stake, duck and lamb. It was absolutely excuisite. Staff were very friendly and professional. Thanks cote, it's been a pleasure

My wife has her arm in a sling due to a broken humerus. The staff were all very helpful, having her first course cut small so she needed only a fork and generally being concerned with serving her carefully due to the injury. Great service and food as always at Cote a really great chain with really super ethos Never eat anywhere else in Kingston. Have used Canterbury and Dorking, also both excellent, Cheltenham next month, know it will be good. Neil Stuart

reallyenjoyed it we have been 4 or 5 times now really nice setting by the river. food is always great but the staff make te difference.

Very slow and uninspired service for first hour of visit - no attempt to welcome us warmly or take a drinks order within a few minutes of arriving

It was very busy on The Saturday lunch time we were there. But service and food excellent as usual. Nice location overlooking the river Thames

The only improvement to comment on is that the service could have been more efficient, we had to ask to order and for the dessert menu, overall though it was lovely

The restaurant was two staff down but apologised straight away for any slowness in service and did a fantastic job keeping all the customers happy. The food is always excellent, and to-day was no exception, and the waiting staff are beautifully trained and really efficient. We will continue to eat there and tell all our friends.

Had a great meal which was good value for money. Service rather slow but we had a fantastic view of the busy river traffic so plenty to focus on whilst waiting. Highly recommend

We had the three course set menu which was excellent value. Good service and helpful waiters. Cote's creme caramel has to be one of the best.

Food was OK though the toast was not hot which is disappointing. It amazes me how long it takes to get a coffee made at this place. When we ordered it wasn't that busy (tho was when we left). We now only order our food when our drinks have arrived but this then makes the stay a bit too long.

Made a revservation 7:30pm, arrive on time only to be told our reservation has been moved to 8:30pm because they were overbook. Asked if there where any tables available and there was one but told we could only have it for 45mins even though our 'new reservation time' would have started 15mins later. Terrible experience for a special occasion and very rude from of house staff

Food disappointing on this occasion.. The 'special' fish was mushy and overlooked. The accompanying salad was so drowned in dressing that I couldn't taste the fish. I have had so many meals spoilt here by the heavy handedness of the salad dressing but sometimes forget to ask for it on the side. The restaurant was so noisy I couldn't hear my friend speak.

The food vas very good and the service was fab. I had ten veal escalope which was a very good portion and my daughter has fish, she did not want peas so I did not have to pay for my fries, that is good service

Over all very happy, its a regular spot for me and my friend and we havent been dissapointed yet. Perhaps sometimes need more staff on

Friendly attentive staff, wide choice on menu, delicious food. Good choice of wines. Small selection of good French beers and ciders. Reasonable prices. Poor acoustics.

Second visit to Cote Kingston this month, this time for breakfast. Could nt fault service and food and will be visiting again soon. Good atmosphere, plenty of helpful staff.

The food and service were good as usual, however there was a minor issue which was instantly resolved with an apology from both the Waiter and the Manager.

Cheerful, Buzzing, Thames Riverside Restaurant, with views of the river. Good unobtrusive, unhurried service. Interesting menu and excellent food always well presented. Cutlery and linen sparkling, as is the restaurant and other facilities. Always worth a visit.

We had a very nice Birthday lunch at Cote. In the Kingston Cote it really does make a difference who your waiter is, Ours was particularly nice, very efficient and attentive. Our choice of food was excellent, pear and goats cheese starter for me followed by haddock parmentier and calarmari and steak frites for sir. Lovely. Washed down with Kir Royals.

Lovely food and a vey friendly waitress. Lamb was very tender and chicken juicy. Looking forward to another visit as we are working through the menu step by step.

Lovely breakfast good service. Food came out fairly quickly. It would be helpful to make clear that the pot of jam on tables is a dummy!

We eat often at Cote and today was as good as usual although the staff seemed a little harassed and unsmiling which is the opposite experience that we normally have, the restaurant was very full though. Food very good.

The service was very poor - it seemed as though there were insufficient staff - please do not use the analogy well it was busy !!!! and the food well that reached just about average.

The Scallops were far too overcooked. When confronted, they were replaced and not charged for, however the excuse from the waitress about how they had been cooked was that the chef was polish!

The food was good although we had to chase a side dish. No salt and pepper on the table - we had to ask and no complimentary water which was offered to everyone else around us.

Reliable as ever. Good food, efficient service and a pleasant environment. And good value too! Excellent venue for lunch whether in a hurry or able take one's time . Even better when the sun shines and you can sit by the river!

Cote Kingston is lovely. Each dish was delicious and reasonably priced for high end food. The staff and atmosphere were lovely. I would highly recommend.

Like cote very much but last night meal was not so good. When we informed the waitress the manager was informed who handled the situation very well. This will not stop us going as good value.

Have come to expect nothing less of Cote. Food is really good and well priced. Great wine and good service. I'm in there approx twice a week (Teddington too). Love Cote.

Very welcoming staff who were exceptionally attentive. The food was excellent and served with that great attention. We made the point of congratulating the manager on our departure. Highly recommend Cote of Kingston Upon Thames.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal and evening. The service was good and the food authentic and delicious. They have a great range of choices on their menu too.

Our group of 4 all agreed the food was excellent. The service was quick and the staff where polite etc. We have visited before and will visit again.This was my 5th visit and will definitely visit again.

Excellent meals . Three had steak frites & one chicken &'walnut salad , my personal favourite ! The staff are all very attentive . Atmosphere very relaxed & welcoming .

Service was initially excellent. We were given a table of our choice and our order was taken promptly. Food was good, but they forgot to bring our side order of spinach. They brought it later and did deduct it from our bill. We waited quite a long time for our main and dessert to arrive. The restaurant was so noisy we couldn't hear each other, so gave up talking which probably made the wait seen longer than it was.
