The food was very good. The service was great. The staff were friendly and we would definitely recommend Cote for a great breakfast or brunch.
Nice food, in the end. Good service.. Husband had started eating his duck, he said it was chewy, undercooked. It wasn't long before the waiter came over anyway & asked about how our meals were. He took away & replaced my husbands meal & then all very nice.
The service was very slow. Our waiter apologised for the delay so he was aware there was a problem. Too few staff for a Saturday!
The food was lovely and reasonably priced. The only comment is make is that we waited a while before being served. We’d been seated for around ten/fifteen minutes before we were asked for a drink, or food orders. Once we had food, the staff couldn’t ask enough how our food was and if we were enjoying it.
Everything arrived on time and we were treated well. Good service
Although very busy our food and service was excellent with a friendly welcome when we arrived. Every Côte I visit is different in their own way and never disappoints.
Good food at a reasonable price with excellent service, consistently. I particularly like the early evening menu, which provides great value for money. Love it.
superb dinner as usual at Cote. met up with my best friend for our monthly dinner and atmosphere and food were fantastic as always. Full marks again!
We had the set menu which is always excellent value for money. Food was delicious and service, as always, excellent. You never get a bad meal here. Would thoroughly recommend.
Great experience. Will repeat and very much look forward to next visit. Good food at value for money. Service and free drink exceptional. Keep up the good work. Barry
Booked a table it was available at the time I booked all though the restaurant was very busy the meal was very good as usual and my friend and I had a lovely lunch the staff are always polite and helpful that's why we always use cote.
Crab mayonnaise starter was a bit short of crab flavour. Fish parmentier and duck confit were tasty and good value. Coffee was strong and well balanced.
Great food and ambience ! The location is perfect. Definitely going back
As usual a good meal, good value for money, good, friendly service. Cote remains our "go to" restaurant when we go to Kingston for shopping.
We are regular visitors to various Cote establishments around the SE and have always found the staff to be very helpful and attentive. The food is always good and is excellent value for money. keep it up!
We had a lovely evening with great food and wine. Can really recommend the specials. We had complimentary prosecco too to celebrate my birthday evening.
Food was good, staff attentive and friendly and as we were at a table near the front we had good views of the river as well.
The salad was a mix of water and vinegar and really horrible. My main course if the fish pie was also watery and disappointing. Nobody asked if we wanted to order from the main menu and enjoy the free drink.
Lovely food and friendly service. Accidentally booked table half an hour too early but not a problem. Wine a bit expensive and no prosecco ☹️
Food was excellent and came pretty quickly after we had ordered. Service was friendly and attentive throughout . Overall a very enjoyable meal . Will definitely be going back
Food was very nice, had spicy olives to start but on one big olive and the rest were the size of peas which was a bit annoying apart from that couldn’t fault it had steak for main and apple tart for pudding overall very pleased will definitely be returning.
Food cooked to order only slight criticism is that poached eggs taste a little of the vinegar that they are cooked in. Service always excellent
Had a lovely time, no issues with food this time and service was good
The tea came after the meal because only one person making the teas which is a shame
The food at Côte is really good always. The staff are efficient charming and helpful. You couldn’t ask for more. Situation right by the river in Kingston is perfect and on a cold snowy night it has a cosy and warm atmosphere. Perfect will come back again and again.
It was excellent service and food.Mind you the former may have been influenced by the fact that the Cote in Kingston was very empty probably because of th weather. The waitress and manager were particularly pleasant to two old men drinking too much and setting the world to rights .

Very good quality food and sevice, only concern was the fries had a lot of salt added when served.. allow client to add the seasoning
good food very good service really enjoyed our visit. we arrived 20 mins earley but that was no problem and we were offered a window seat, very nice had a really nice lunch.
Resturant was very busy, service was a bit slow and the food seemed over done. Also where people were queuing to wait for tables the door was permanently open and it was freezing inside.
Amazing setting lovely staff so helpful 10 out 10 for food will definitely go again best cota every ***** for all good food lovers this is the best : )
We enjoyed our meal but service was a bit slow. The beetroot salad was not warm as advertised and not as nice as the one I enjoyed at Esher Cote.
We love Cote in Kingston. Beautiful view of the river with a fab breakfast and great service. Lovely way to start the day. Our favourite restaurant.
Bad service, food was fine. At no point a waiter came to us to ask us our order or to give us a bill, we had to keep asking! Every time we’d finally get a waiter to give us any attention, they wouldn’t even say hello. We waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order (they only came because we asked), then another 30 for food. I understand it’s busy, but I don't think this is good service.
Brought the wrong food and cold food the second time around. Terrible service and the worst experience at cote. Usually would give cote too marks but this time was an absolute dissapointment.
8 of us went for my birthday. There was another larger table next to us so it was noisy, making it hard to hear what we were all saying. They forgot mine and my brother’s main course so we had to wait until the rest of our party had finished before we got ours. When we did, it wasn’t worth the wait - they’d obviously rushed it. They did discount that from the bill though and everyone else loved their food. I wouldn’t return for a special occasion.
Cote Kingston is always reliable and it was good again yesterday. The starter of brie on flatbread was probably the disappointing dish as the brie was almost non existent on the flatbread, a bit mean with the cheese, which made the dish very dry. The steak frites was as good as usual and the house wine was pleasant enough.
Nice location and the staff were very efficient and friendly. Food was ok but monkfish over cooked. Would go back and try something different or ask them to go easy on the monkfish!
The food is always good value for money, the service is efficient and friendly. The only problem I ever have is that when the restaurant is full, as it often is, it is very noisy. Some ort of soundproofing is needed.
We had the set menu, very good value but main course portions a little small. Puddings excellent. Very good value , £21 ph for two courses, one glass of wine each and coffee. Excellent service
Had an excellent early dinner meal as part of the special 2 or 3 course menu, such good value. Staff very professional & attentive I would highly recommend COTE
Good food, wine and very good service. A most enjoyable lunching occasion. The Manageress ran after our group alongside the river walk to return 3 X £10 notes dropped under our table. Wonderful !!
Today we were disappointed. The venison cottage pie was mainly potato and gravy. No meat. When we queried we were told the meat was shredded. There was no shred of meat in the dish! The salmon tartine starter was literally a slice of toast with a slice of salmon on top. The Camembert starter was also disappointing. We have been to Cote many times but I think their menu needs to be looked at.
The food was very tasty. Service was rather slow but fortunately we weren't in a hurry. The food was reasonable value but spritzers at £4.95 seems excessive.
Too noisy when busy background music not needed. Waiter was attentive but too busy to get his attention when we required our bill as we had an appointment to keep.
Good service despite it being very busy. Food was tasty and of a high quality. Only negative- They don’t have almond milk, just normal or soya.
I have had many meals at Cote Brasserie branches and have yet to have a bad meal! As ever the service was good and attentive.
At Cote Kingston the staff are always friendly and welcoming. With excellent service, great value and delicious and tempting food, it is always a great experience.
Saturday lunchtime on a fine day, so Cote was very busy, but we were delighted to receive very prompt, friendly and efficient service from all the staff.
Food and service were as good as always, but there was a slight whiff from blocked drains somewhere, which was unfortunate but I’m sure will have been sorted quickly.
Regular favourite, food excellent and good choice. Service always friendly. Lovely setting by the River to meet friends and sit outside on a sunny day.
