Main course took a long time even though the restaurant was only 1/3 full. Two of the 4 main courses were very dry and the staff were very good in replacing one of them. Three of us had ice cream on crumble and the crumble was barely warm and were sent back. Disappointing in terms of pace of meal and mains over cooked and desert undercooked.
Good food as ever. Had the two course special menu, plenty to chose from. Service rather slow between courses and had to attract waitresses attention to get our first drink.
This is our favourite restaurant along the Riverside. The food is always consistently good whether one goes for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The service is excellent, friendly and attentive
As usual a most enjoyable meal, it was even warm enough to sit outside and enjoy the river views. Service was excellent and food was delicious.
My favourite restaurant but this time disappointed. The October special menu attracted me but the lamb was tough and the crepe was cold with the alcohol not properly flamed. The staff did offer me an alternative dessert. I have organised a birthday booking for eight people so I am now a little concerned but hopefully all will be well as I don’t want this one experience to colour my view of Cote too much.

Good was very good although I didn’t get what I ordered, they offered to change it but I would have had to wait until new order cooked. Service not great but think our waitress was distracted by a table of men behind us. Most staff were friendly and helpful
Wonderful breakfast, very good value. The best venue for breakfast in Kingston.
Busy but good service, good food and good value. A favourite place!A bit noisy but I would definitely recommend this particular branch as being one of the best.
Staff really friendly and helpful and didn’t try to rush us even though they were busy and the restaurant was full. Food and wine were great!
Great food and service! Airy atmosphere with tables not too crammed in. Lovely riverside location. Steaks were amazing as were other dishes. Good wine list and decent set of desserts inc some ‘healthy options’
Always go here with my friends to celebrate birthdays or for anyo ther excuse! Another delicious, great value lunch - the set menu has plenty of choices and is simply amazing value. The atmosphere is always buzzy and the service was great, despite being very busy.
Great lunch time menu. Excellent value for money. Friendly helpful staff and great ambiance. The food was delicious and portions a good size. A very enjoyable lunch
Lovely food and the service is good. We often go there and we can recommend this place. The do a fab cooked breakfast as well.
Good food and excellent service; both friendly and attentive. Very good value set lunch with plenty of choice. This place always has a buzzy atmosphere too.
This is our local restaurant. The food and service are consistently good and there is a wide choice of dishes on the menu to suit most people's tastes.
very good food and good service It was my birthday dinner and very enjoyable I will certainly come again and so will my friends Thanks for making my birthday special
the set menu was disappointing. Ordered the leek starter dish that was so fibrous that I had to ask for a steak knife to cut it and it was really inedible. My friend asked for the french onion soup and got mushroom so not a great experience all round. My main course of Hake was acceptable but forgettable as the beans were tasteless
Lovely breakfast. Our favourite venue for food and the lovely river views. Good service as usual. The breakfast is really good value. You must try it!
So nice, helpful and kind. Even gave us blankets when it got cold outside! Great customer service. Would definitely go back again soon as the food was fab
We thought the ambience, service and temperature were excellent. We were brought the menu as soon as we sat down and the food arrived promptly too. All in all very, very good.
Excellent welcome, service and food. Went for lunch at very busy time but was not too noisy and service was excellent, quick without feeling you were being rushed. Would recommend for lunch.
Cote Brassiere Kingston is such a lovely setting along the River Thames. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. Could not fault in any way.
As ever. Good quality food, well cooked and attentive service. Just right for a quickish night out. Nothing uber special but always consistent and the Kingston location very good by the river.
Food was excellent -as usual! Cote was pretty busy, service not quite "up to scratch". We were a party of three choosing different menus, one person had special dietary requests. I was the only person having a starter and this took a long time to arrive. It came after asking where it was. had obviously been sitting in the kitchen and the egg was cold. waitress apologised for this when I asked if it should have been hot! (Leek in vinagrete dressing). Grilled hake and half chicken was very good and desserts were tasty. Special dietary salmon was initially served as per menu NOT as requested. Manager did give a reduction on bill which was appreciated.
The only thing that will stop me using Cote restaurants is having to book with Quandoo. Amongst other things I keep being told to sign up, which I have done many many times.
Spent Another excellent evening at Cote in Kingston ( down by the River) with friends ! Very busy, but service excellent as usual and food “spot on” Thank you.

Not as good as in the past. Cote has become a lot more expensive. The "old" GBP11.95 menu is now much smaller and the options are less attractive. What used to cost GBP11.95 now costs a monstrous GBP16.95. No longer good value. Also, the descriptions on the menu card were wrong, so I had to send my pork back as it was served with potato mash and not what was advertised. In general a turn for the worse.
The service was excellent. The food was good - I particularly enjoyed the spinach and mushroom crepe - and the atmosphere was convivial. A great venue for ladies who lunch!
Main course was not very good; lamb rump and veg - a bit bland & dull & meat was tough. Not usual for here! Excellent starter & dessert and great service though
Pleasant staff but being Sunday afternoon it was busy. Our food order was delayed and water refills were equally slow. Food was not as good as we generally experience at Cote.
Always a great brunch with good service. Never fails to please! Would highly recommend if want a reliable and tasty brunch with great view of the Thames.
Lovely food, great experience and service. I would highly recommend
We booked online and our table was ready for us. The staff are very polite and the food is excellent. Will definitely visit again and again
The restaurant is in a fantastic location by the river and Kingston Bridge. I loved the french styled food but it is very noisy when full , we could barely hear ourselves talking.
Excellent service on a very busy lunchtime. Seating outside was a huge problem as everybody wanted to enjoy the Autumn sunshine. However the manager was able to seat everybody within a few minutes.
Very good experience. Very easy to booked and cancelled. Can't wait for my next booking with quandoo. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family🙂🙂🙂
We have never been disappointed when eating at Cote Kingston. Yesterday as usual, the food was of a high standard. We ate the Calamari, Chicken and Fillet steak all of which were delicious.
We have dined here several times and have always Had a good experience. Great location and atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Food is great too.
Excellent meal - just what we needed between theatre performances. Quick and efficient. My chicken was delicious especially with gratin dauphinoise. Also enjiyed our complimentary kir royale.
The food at Cotê is excellent. The staff are always attentive charming and helpful. View across the river is beautiful. All round a great experience.
Perfect setting, service and meal ! Not much else to add really, it is good to know that we can rely on these features whenever one dines (lunches) at Kingston's Cote.
As always good food and great service. What's not to like? Visited at lunch time so restaurant busy but still has a pleasant ambience. Would visit again for sure.
Poached eggs a wee bit firm this time. Could you please consider doing a proper fruit salad to go with granola, the compote is just like sweet jam- not nice. However we all love going the staff efficient & delightful.
Always enjoy Kingston Côte - and can’t resist Breton Fish stew ... waiting staff were excellent as always. Ambiance and superb situation second to none.
Usual good food for the price and a friendly service in smart but not pretentious surroundings. It’s my destination of choice for a family meal with my 10 and 8 yr old but also for a night out with friends.
Service was slow, it was like the waitress had too many tables to look after as it was very busy, we had to ask other servers to replenish water and in order to pay the bill! The food was good.
As always reliable, good honest food. Great location, perfect for the Rose Theatre and river views.
As always good quality food at reasonable prices. Attentive and professional staff. Beautiful setting watching the autumn sun set over the river. A good visit every time
Lovely meal, service was great the only thing a little disappointing for me was my dish was warm and not hot also there was no more creme brulee.
Excellent ambiance at this cote. Attentive service and brilliant food. Breakfast choice was good and the gluten free menu was extensive compared to most other establishments l have visited. Great location too. Thanks for an enjoyable meal.
