Côte Kingston

What is the point in asking for special request in the booking form, when the special requests are completely ignored? What is the logic behind assigning the worst tables to the people that book their visit, and having the best ones, with river views, and outside, for walk-in requests? That was my last visit

I am a regular a Cote Restaurants all over the country, and usually can't wait to see the whitebait on the Monthly set menu, although it was cooked perfectly I was a very disappointed that there was hardly any batter, if any.I was so looking forward to it. Seemed like the whitebait was just fried in oil, and some fresh herbs thrown over it before being served. If this is the new recipe, I think I will pass. Another "cut" I noticed was that the Coupe Noir was not served with the usual wafer/ brandy snap biscuit. Maybe it was forgotten or maybe it was removed from the menu from April. I was not going to ask or embarrass the chef.Service from our waitress was good as always, Professional with the right amount of banter.

Overall a good experience, friendly staff and good value for money.

Food good, service offhand. Always a good standard, but the welcome and service at the usual Cote I go to (Wimbledon Village) is much more pleasant.

Excellent menu for the day. Pork belly out of this world. Very good service team. A totally enjoyable experience.

We always enjoy our visit here . It was busy and therefore a little noisy.

Great policy for people with allergies whereby a manager has to take your order. It’s nice to feel safe!

Reception was very friendly, the service and quality of the food was very good as I have experienced on previous occasions. It is always a good idea to book in advance. I have seen TV personalities turned away because they have not booked and the restaurant was full.

I have never had a bad meal at Cote. I order from the pre-theatre menu - the starter ( pear salad) and main chicken dish and a glass of the house red. fantastic value for the money. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

This is my favourite restaurant in Kingston. The food is always good and the staff friendly and helpful.

The service was terrible. And we are regular visitors so we have high regard for this place. Some of the food was also uncharacteristically bad - fried calamari was bitter probably done in stale oil, burgers overdone

This is a regular lunch venue for our shopping visits to Kingston. Conveniently close to the town yet in a pleasant riverside location it is ideally situated. Always friendly, efficient service and excellent food. One of our favourites.

We visit regularly because we enjoy the food, staff and general ambience of the restaurant, ( even though we live 11 miles away in Leatherhead. Barry Wayne

Always wonderful efficient but friendly staff. Two of us had poached eggs, both cold, we sent them back , we didn’t have to wait long & were brought back 2 new breakfasts. When we came to pay both breakfasts had been taken off the bill. So I feel they are extremely fair & treat customers very well indeed.

We arrived early...but the waiter directed us to a table...I was with an elderly lady and they were very kind and helped her to her seat...the service was great and there was a lovely atmosphere...the portion of food for the elderly lady was quite big...but they offered her a "doggy bag" to take it home in..excellent restaurant

Warm, friendly environment. Good staff. Nice starters and drink, but very disappointed of ‘ribeye steaks ‘ . They were burned.

I booked and was warmly welcomed. Food, drink, service were excellent. Minor niggles were the proximity of our table to the ones next door and the difficulty at times of hearing each other because of the noise levels.

We booked the table in advance, wanted to be seated outside as it was a beautiful day. We had to wait a few minutes but we were seated outside as we wanted. Trully enjoyed the atmosphere, we usually have steak but this time we tried Seabass with fennel, it was a lovely dish.

The restaurant was packed - inside and outside (as it was a glorious day). Considering how busy it was, the service was still efficient, just slightly slower! Luckily we had booked as there was a huge queue.

We had to wait for most of our order as the order was taken wrong. Even we had a table booked we had to wait 15 minutes for our table. Service was very slaw

Another lovely meal in the cote on Thames riverside. Great views. Yummy complementary cocktails. But it was so crowded and noisy! Half term I suspect. Staff seemed to be coping well with every on and still smiling!

Very high quality food, steak tartare followed by belly pork. Good service. First time I reserved and first time I did not have to wait. Far superior to Cafe Rouge.

Ordered from the set menu which included starter, main and desert. Food arrived very quickly, was of good quality and lovely and warm. Overall very good value

We come here so often because the food is always fantastic, the staff attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is great. Never had a meal that wasn’t lovely and always leave feeling have had great value for money

Good service. Excellently varied menu. Lively atmosphere. My only small reservation is that when full (which it often is) it can feel a little cramped if sitting at middle and front tables. Otherwise, as usual, an enjoyable experience.

A really good lunch as it always is at Côte. Just a bit noisy! It was very busy. My friend who needed ‘gluten free’ was well looked after.

Excellent service. They are fast, good attention and professional. But food could be better. For me, less butcher please. So a 5 is my rate. Very nice place for enjoy brunch, breakfast or anything.

Disappointing. Had set menu. Quality of main course has gone down considerably. Ordered chicken parmentier - it was largely potato mash with just traces of chicken. Clearly cost cutting.

Consistently good service and food at Kingston Cote, which is our favourite cote. Does anyone know if they have they changed their sausage supplier, still good but not as good as they were.

Fantastic food and drinks. The staff were knowledgeable and very pleasant. Great location by the Thames and interior was lovely. Great restaraunt. Loved it. Will definitely book again. Good price to for a high standard of food

As always excellent food and service from cote. Had the lamb rump which was great. Blood orange cocktails were delicious as well! Will be back again soon.keeo up the excellent work
