Côte Kingston

On arrival we were greeted by a senior staff member who advised us that our friends had arrived and were seated. As we are friends of the rose our complimentary drink soon arrived and we were able to order our meals straight away. We were not having a started we were advised that there would be a short wait, we just kept chatting. The desert course was presented very quickly. In general all the staff who served my party were professional and pleasent.

A really excellent meal sitting looking at the Thames . Everything was as expected from Cote. Good service and a super menu to chose from. Sitting with the front doors open restaurant noise was not a problem.

I often visit Cote in Kingston with either family or friends I booked a table of 3 online and specified a gluten free menu and a vegetarian menu...on arrival we were served by a lovely waitress but unfortunately we had to ask for the menus several times The restaurant was not particularly busy so we asked if we could move to another table The gluten free option bread was not particularly nice....I order the goats cheese and asparagus starter. My bread tasted and looked like mush

Food and service was really good. Shame it was 35 degrees heat wave and I had a 5 and 7 year old having to sit in the scorching hot sun. We had a 2 course meal that was around 2hrs, whilst the tables behind us that were inside were still not vacated. Bonus was the complimentary bottle of wine deal! Waiter was very good, he saw how hot we were so kept attending with glasses of ice for the kids to cool down!

Lovely! Great food, location, service and atmosphere! Had a booking for 10 people no complaints, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Staff weren’t very attentive, had to grab staffs attention for anything and everything. Asked to move to the outdoor seating and the staff member told us WE needed to ask his manager- surely it’s his job to do this?

My first visit to a Cote restaurant but it won’t be the last. The menu has something for every taste and the food chosen today was all very tasty, nicely presented and served by pleasant staff. The only reason there are 5 stars rather than 6 is that there is always room for improvement !

Excellent ambience, service and food makes for a very enjoyable lunch.

Really lovely main course. However, we did not stay for dessert - we were given the menu but no-one came to take our order. After 20 mins we gave up trying to get attention and walked to the till to get our bill. What a disappointment. The manager left at 10.15pm and since then the staff are more keen on cleaning tables than serving customers. We will think twice about returning and we have been regular customers!

Great atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. Would visit again.

A great venue in a lovely location. I cannot fault anything. The staff were friendly but professional, efficient and attentive. I will certainly return next time I am in Kingston.

dinner for 7 to celebrate my daughter's 50th birthday. Everything was excellent. Worth special mention was the attention paid by the Manager to my 11 yr-old grandson and his dietary problem.

Wonderful food as usual , the quality and quantity never changes and so lovely to have it served on hot plates!!! I am a regular customer to the Kingston Cote and for the first time I was disappointed with the service! The staff are always friendly and professional but last night service was slow and we had to remind a member of staff first for water and then later for the bottle of wine we had ordered. When it arrived, the waitress apologised because the wine was not chilled , so it then had to sit in a bucket of ice whilst we ate part of our main course Also we waited a long time to order our dessert when most customers had gone! Not major criticisms but all adds to the overall dining experience! Nevertheless, still my favourite restaurant in Kingston!!!!!

Lovely meal and sweet waiters, but they did all seem quite new and inexperienced ( aka run off their feet and not remembering the details). When we did try to add the gratuity, were told we cannot add it to the card machine and it would need to be in cash, but he failed to mention that 12.5% had already been added to the bill for service. Fortunately I checked or my elderly mother would have way overpaid

Good food, flexible when we asked to move tables for more space. The only challenge was when we finished our meal, no one came to take a tea/coffee or dessert order. I think it was because we had laptops out and were working, but I would have loved a cup of tea and the chocolate pot. Sadly we ran out of time. Next time feel free to interrupt!

Lovely location right on the river. Shame about the outdoor tables/chairs, not very big or comfortable and being tourists would have liked both of us looking out onto the river. Got our free cocktails with no quibble, ordered one pate between us for starters which was more than ample. I had fillet steak which was quite good, hubby had the special - half roast chicken. All good apart from the gravy they smothered over it!! SB was very good. Service was good.

We had to make a complaint about the complimentary Kia Royale as they put them on the bill even though we showed our Rose Theatre members card when ordering. They took them off the bill no problem.

Always very quick and attentive service. Lovely lunch and superb location!

All 3 chicken main dishes were very dry and were obviously left under heater to keep warm for some time. Probably as we were the last party in restaurant for lunch service Very disappointing as we were entertaining client and we had such a great meal/ experience on the previous Sunday. Shame!

A lovely Sunday lunch with the family by the River Thames

We waited almost 50 minutes without explanation before our food arrived, which is very much untypical of Cote. We raised this with our waiter, but no apology was forthcoming and we ended up having an extra round of drinks (at our own expense) because of the long wait.

Breakfast at the Kingston branch, a lovely setting by the Thames. Eggs Royale, nice but lukewarm. I can only put this down to how busy the restaurant was. Recommend to book for breakfast. Staff were excellent and professional.

Calamari frit excellent and the chateau Briand. The Viognier super. We sat inside not too far away from the open frontage glad we did much more civilised

Busy Saturday lunchtime so had a little wait for main course but good service and lovely food.

This was an impromptu decision and we decided by the river would be good. We couldn’t go to the restaurant of choice but agreed Cote was our next best. We all agreed you know what your getting it’s reliable in quality and reasonable. Cote no matter which one we go to is reliable quality. Good service didn’t have to wait too long. Staff attentive and pleasant

Excellent food, service and ambience as usual at Kingston Côte. Whenever we are in Kingsyon we always lunch at Côte.

Our small party of 4 enjoyed everything about our visit today and appreciated the complimentary bottle of white wine.

Cotes Kingston always offers good value and great service, especially if you are able to get there early enough for the early diner menu
