Our waiter was absolutely charming; the ambiance in the restaurant was pleasant; and the food was delicious. (I had the salmon and ratatouille and my friend had the tuna Nicoise salad, and we also had a basket of bread and a bottle of wine.) In addition, we thought the anti-coronavirus measures were sensible and well judged.

Great to be back in your restaurant. The staff were excellent.

I chose cote as our first meal out post-lockdown and it did not disappoint! I thought the waiters and waitresses were excellent....not too awkward but still socially distanced etc. Food was Delish as always and great atmosphere. Thanks

Lovely setting and very clean but as things stand at the moment, the menue is very limited and the meal was quite small. My wife could not find a desert which was not chocolate or ice cream. These are the two things she dislikes. The service was good apart from the wait, which was a bit long initially but improved after the starter.

Perfect evening by the river. Great food, good service just lovely to be out with friends after lockdown.

We were well looked after and the social distancing and additional cleaning measures were clearly in place, but didn’t change our experience. Staff we’re friendly and attentive. My only issue is that the menu is now reduced due to the situation, so choice is limited (I don’t eat red meat), but my husband still had a wide choice of steak, so he was happy.

As usual the restaurant was buzzing despite it being a Monday. Service was good and the food was well up to its usual high standard.

The food was cooked lovely and fresh. Everything that was brought out was exceptionally tasty. The service was brilliant throughout, where we never waited or wanted for anything without being offered. Great evening!

We all had the excellent value set lunch as usual. The noise level particularly bad and we asked to move our table, which was in the middle, to one at the side but restaurant was really busy and no other table available. The staff were friendly and helpful but rushed off their feet and three things were dropped during our meal including a glass which shattered very near a baby and a water bottle that nearly hit my foot.

As always an excellent meal at Cote. Food and service are always consistently good in all restaurants. Very reasonably priced food and good selection on menus.

Always enjoy a meal at Cote but I had the seafood linguine and it had been cut up into 5cm lengths!, Shock horror. How do wind that on a fork. No wonder they supply a spoon!, Double shock horror. Has no one been to Italy? Patrick Mill

Good overall experience but the t lamb special was not great - lots of tough sinew so my wife didn’t enjoy. Otherwise rest of meal fine

Staff and food were lovely. Only issue was that as the staff left to serve people outside they kept leaving the door open and it was pretty cold, we kept having to request the door was closed. Minor issue I appreciate but it does affect the enjoyment of your meal.

Good table, good service, lovely food. left waiting for a while after being seated which is the only thing I can fault; had to ask to order after being passed a couple of times.

An OK lunch but a noisy atmosphere. Not all food was as hot as it should be but good value

A fantastic meal, my steak was cooked to perfection, waiter was really lovely and helpful and thanks to the manager who kindly reserved a specific table for me as it brings back memories etc, very thoughtful. This really is a lovely restaurant. I know cote have the great pre 7 deal but honestly the main menu is very very good and it was best steak for a long time , thanks everyone

We were 6 for lunch yesterday. It was crowded inside as it was raining. It was extremely noisy We had the menu at 19.50. 3 of us liked our food but out friends left nearly all of their chicken saying it was dry and spongy. Staff should have asked if anything was wrong. The staff was pleasant l and service was prompt.

Booked for lunch on a very busy Saturday, but the service was excellent as ever. Very welcoming staff. Food was delicious as ever with good-sized portions and excellent quality. A great favourite with my family. We will be back soon.

The food is always delicious , with a good ,varied menu . I like the fact that often there are Special cocktails or drinks , on the house ! The staff are very attentive & charming !

Lovely lunch - good food and atmosphere and attentive service

Hi, we are regular diners at your restaurants, so when I received the email offering a free apparitif and what really looked like some exciting specials, I made a booking using the email link at the Kingston restaurant for Saturday 2nd March. Therefore, perhaps you can understand our disappointment when we asked for the complimentary G&T only to be told it didn’t show on their system and therefore we were not eligible. The manager suggested I rebooked while we were at the table, so re-entering all my details we eventually became eligible for the offer. When the waiter came to take our order, we both chose the Monk Fish off the March Specials menu, only to be told it was sold out? This seemed to be surprising given that it was only the second day of the month? Can you please ensure that your monthly specials are really available and make sure your booking system recognizes booking that include any offers. Finally, your table service is normally really excellent. However, on Saturday we had to ask the waiter to take away empty glasses, bowls and plates during the meal as the table was getting cluttered. It was probably just an oversight or a new member of the team, but it wasn’t up to the normal standard. Keep the excellent menu’s and customer service please, we do enjoy dining at Cote. As usual quite noisy but being offered seats in a booth was a treat (we were only two). Menu and service as always were fantastic.

Good riverside location and friendly, helpful staff. Our children have allergies and were very well catered for. Food was tasty and very good value for money.

It couldn’t have been better. The staff were brilliant, they weren’t disruptive but made sure empty plates and glasses were taken as needed, and delivering food in the same manner. We were never pestered about how we felt about the meal but equally we were catered for. The food was absolutely stunning and the chef deserves the highest compliments. The restaurant was so busy but the manager had everything under control perfectly. The sun was shining without a cloud in the sky, what a wonderful meal. We had complimentary drinks due to a birthday celebration and I was so happy there was no over the top song or anything to draw attention. Côte Brasserie couldn’t do a thing wrong if they tried!

Lovely as always. Very attentive staff. One guest gluten dairy nut allergy and this was taken very seriously by manager who did double checks with chef to ensure against cross contamination. We also had very good complimentary cocktail. Lovely food.

Service and food were great - just what we needed! The restaurant was busy and bustling and had a great atmosphere. We will definitely go again.

Food came less than 5 minutes after ordering, after being told it could take up to 25 minutes, hence ordering bread and olives that we didn't actually need. Some people like that speedy service, but I don't. I guess it's a matter of preference. Apart from that, great choice on the menu and lovely mimosa's. Very bustly.

Excellent food, relaxed atmosphere and great service. Will visit again.
