Côte Islington

The Cote de Boeuf was sadly somewhat overcooked, dry and not particularly warm. The service was very good though, and the staff friendly and attentive.

Good service and nice atmosphere. Food was lovely and excellent value for money (particularly the weekday set menu). Also appreciate the great selection (and separate menu) for gluten-free/coeliac choices. Selection of wines by the glass also pretty impressive for a high street chain. Great lunch!

Central islington location. Good anlmbience. Staff are bery atttentive . Set menu is good value with lots of choice. O would day value for money .

As always, great food & friendly & helpful staff. I often go to Côte Islington & Muswell Hill & am never disappointed. Good place for meeting friends or a more intimate meal.

The early evening menu is great value. The food was very well cooked and presented. I was very impressed with the pork belly, the cracking was crispy with the pork still tender.

Excellent cuisine and ambience. Food was not too copious but quite sufficient. Delicious fresh asparagus perfectly cooked so that still crisp as starter, cod goujons and chips as main and lovely apple crumble for desert. Very good value for money.

Good food as always. Excellent value and friendly service. Always like to go to the Cote branch when in the area. recommend pre theatre for Sadlers or Almeida

A group of 7 met up for a meal. Table was booked for 6pm to take advantage of the early evening menu, which was great value for money. We were told there was no sea bass; despite this everyone in the group enjoyed the food, wine and surroundings. Staff were alvery friendly. Toilets very clean. We are hoping to return to Cote very shortly for our next get together.

Our evening at Côte Brasserie was excellent as usual. Nice food, good wine, proficient staff and a good atmosphere. Most of all, the bill is never shocking. Quite some value here! We will gladly return.

The wait staff were very pleasant and gave us a lovely choice of seating, my date and I had the Roast Duck which was also superb, on top of which, all was remarkably well priced. I have and will continue to recommend the service and food provided to me that evening.

Delicious breakfast. I had a savoury crepe with bacon, eggs and Gruyere and my friend had eggs royale. Both dishes were cooked perfectly. Service professional and friendly. Excellent value for money.

Friendly and efficient staff, an agreeable environment, and well-cooked and varied food, make this excellent restaurant a favourite with our family and the guests whom we invite.

A good night with friends. I have been here several times before. The food is well priced and good quaility as usual. Will be coming back soon.

We arrived earlier than planned, which caused no bother. Our evening was very good, with excellent food and attentive service, but then this has always been my experience at Cote. It is good that you can rely on a consistent standard.

Dined at this branch for the first time with my family and I must say the staffs were warm and welcoming. Love the atmosphere, not too noisy, and family friendly. Meal was fantastic as always. I've been to other branches but this one tops it all.

Great place to eat, we eat there whenever we stay in Islington. The staff are great and the good is very good. Well worth a visit!

Great manager our waitress slightly rattled by the fact we had to eat and run but smoothed over by the manager on duty and we made the theatre in time!

First visit to Cote Islington, which is well located at Islington Green. The food was very good and excellent value, the staff, friendly and efficient.

Service was excellent - our waitress was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Food was very good: the charcuterie board starter was easily plentiful for 3 to share; steaks cooked to perfection and the frites were golden and crunchy; great tartes aux pommes and au citron; very good cheeseboard. Perfect meal for the birthday boy!

The service was very good and we all are very well. It was a good Mother's Day meal and thank you for hosting us this day.

Welcome & service very friendly & efficient. More choice than you usually get with a set menu & price incredibly reasonable for London. Food was good although the rocket garnish on both our main courses was wilted & yellowing; our only disappointment in an otherwise very enjoyable visit.

The Cote at Islington Green has a very relaxed atmosphere. We ate from the pre 7pm menu and had 3 courses at the amazing price of 12.95! All really nice food. I'm on dairy and yeast free diet so my options were limited but the sea bass was amazing. Good service and friendly staff.

Visited Cote at Islington this evening with my daughter. This is my 5th or 6th time eating in this restaurant. Menus extensive and imaginative. Food delicious. Surroundings lovely. Staff friendly, knowledgeable and just fantastic! Will definitely visit again and again.

, service adequate. bank holiday Sunday. only 3 staffs on show, Bad management planning, restaurant busy staffs over run. service not slow but have to constantly remind them what is needed. Kitchen maybe covered but seem like kitchen porter is doing the cooking the chef is giving instruction, but no follow up to see whether food is ready to be served. will not go there on B/H weekend

Great evening out, happy celebration and good value for money. We both enjoyed the food and atmosphere of Cote Brasserie, Islington and will definitely recommend it.

We only had 45 minutes before leaving for the theatre. We made this known on arrival and the staff responded perfectly. Food, decor and everything else up to the high standard we are used to from other Cotes.

The staff at Cote are always lovely and friendly and helpful. The food is pretty average but made up for by the atmosphere and staff.

Excellent service again - which I now expect as standard from Cote restaurants.....A good space/dining room in Islington, which is a very competitive restaurant environment....

Love the restaurant, service is very good but the main meal I had chicken was very dry and green beans were very al dente .

Great food, good service. All 3 of us enjoyed our meal. I recommend the Praline Crepe for dessert! Duck was cooked perfectly and the camembert also went down well.

Côte Brasserie-Islington is one of my favourite places to eat in Islington. It is spacious and the food is always good. And, the staff are friendly and helpful.

Really good food and broad selection of wines. Service attentive but not annoying- really good place for a weeknight meal, would be great for groups or couples.

Food was good, but the Restaurant was far to hot, we commented and air con had just been switch on, but it was a little uncomfortable.
