Wonderful venue. Very good service from waitresses who were smiley and attentive. The duck was cooked perfectly, really tender with a very tasty cherry sauce. Creme brulee was also excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

Great meal, great staff, couldn’t fault. Will definately be back to this one

Good service and a wide range of well cooked dishes at sensible prices.Interesting and not overcomplicated wine selection.The tables are well spaced and the linen etc well looked after.

Very pleasant evening. The food and service was of a good standard considering the restaurant was extremely busy. It did get a little noisy but this did not spoil our evening.

Really superb cuisine as always and very much enjoyed by all! We will certainly come again, in fact have been coming to Cote restaurants for over five years or more.

Four of us had a great dinner from 6 to 1030. Service, food and drinks were excellent. Three tried the cider chaud on offer but two didn't like it but our waiter kindly replaced them with Kir Royale. Nothing was too much trouble. It is a very welcoming environment. We will definitely be back soon

I booked through Quandoo. I have been to the restaurant before and the food was as good as ever. ther were three menus at lunchtime, two of them being fixed price, servinfg every budget. The service was great too. UI always meet up with old workmates for a get together there as it isin a convenient central point in London.

Lovely restaurant good atmosphere, attentive service and great food. Just a bit of a blip for my daughter however who has coeliac diisease and was unfortunately 'glutened'. We go to Cote as they are accredited by Coeliac.org and we've never had a problem before, but something 'got to her' and sadly she was I'll for the rest of the day. It's a risk we take I'm afraid, but otherwise no complaints!

Am a big fan of cote and this one in particular - great food, staff and prices - what’s not to like. The staff in Angel are particularly fantastic!

it was a busy Friday evening, servce was a bit slow, no-one offered drinks before taking the order (their financial loss as we would probably have said yes), and despte being in a corner the noise was almost unbearable; however the food was nice, which was the main thing!

Lovely food, great service. Cote always deliver! This particular Cote in Islington is very warm and friendly with a great ambience. We would highly recommend.

Myself and my friends had a wonderful time. Kind and friendly staff. The food was fantastic. We even got free glasses of sparking wine when I mentioned it was my birthday. I'm going there again with my daughter so she can have the experience.

Service was excellent as was the ambience The food and drink were nicely presented. We had the special roast chicken; my husband enjoyed it whereas I found it a little dry and heavy, not quite what I expected. The rest was excellent as always.

All Cote restaurants I've been have always had great food and great service. I noted that I was coming for a Birthday celebration and we were handed complimentary champagne!

Cote Brasserie ISLINGTON is warm and wecoming. Our meal was professionally served, hot plates, finger bowls for mussels and very good main course. The meal included a bottle of chilled Sauvignon Blanc. Tables are not too close so conversation is easy.

As always at Cote. An unrushed pre-theatre reservation. Had the prix fixe menu with a few extras which was served promotly and efficiently. Served without the normal attitude prevalent in the area.

Vote is a great place to meet up with friends. The food is always good and the staff friendly. It is great value for money.

Always a lovely atmosphere in Cotes , nice food and great prices for their Set Menus. Staff are friendly and do not rush you. I have never been disappointed.

Cote Islington was buzzy and friendly, a great atmosphere and quite full at 1830, Friday night. The waiting staff were excellent, as always, as was the food and wine. The special, Sole Meuniere, which we both had, one gluten free, was delicious as were the salad, wine, special cocktail, their speciality crème caramel and the chocolate fondente which my husband had. Top marks to Cote.

It didn't start very well as we had an issue with the set menu, however the manager sorted it out quickly to our satisfaction. The food was nice and we enjoyed the evening overall.

As usual I enjoyed our meal at the Cote Brasseries at the Angel. The food was better than usual and we were sitting at a quiet table at the front. The service was very good.

Excellent service, the pate and mussels were great. Chicken with lemon sauce was also very good. Easy to carry on a conversation with your table partner.

Food was wonderful, staff were very nice. I would recommend the belly of pork to everyone. I normally just go here for breakfast but will be back more for dinner.

Had a lovely meal at Cote Islington. I was a little disappointed that the pate wasn't available but the tuna was an excellent replacement. Steak was very tasty too. I do think it's about time Cote looked at the pudding offer as it has been the same items for years on the pre theatre menu and does not change from month to month. They could be a little more adventurous.

Delicious and well presented food and an interesting menu selection catering to a range of tastes and dietary requirements. We would definitely eat there again as a very relaxed setting and an excellent location.

Friendly service and great food. We had a lovely evening. Cote consistently serves up good quality dishes for a reasonable price and we haven’t been disappointed yet.

i find the Cote Brasserie on Islington Green an excellent place to meet and eat with friends although it is always a bit noisy at tables the back

My friends and I spent a lovely afternoon. The food was excellent and the service was good. We weren't rushed during our time there. My only negative comment was that there wasn't enough staff on duty and at times we were kept waiting. Apart from that, we would definitely visit again.

Really enjoyed our lunch at Cote Islington. It’s in a good position looking out over the green. The food & ambience was good as always with Cote restaurants. Tried the St Germain G&T for a change which was very nice.

The team at cote Islington were very welcoming. The vegetarian breakfast was very nice and together with an orange juice and coffee was good value.

Four of us had a delicious lunch which lasted 5 hours! The staff were absolutely excellent so were the food and drink. We will return yet again. A very nice atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble.

First time visit to Islington branch. Restaurant quite attractive, not as clean & nice as West End. Although we had booked they were also a bit cagey about which table we had, though all the time we were there it was never full. Food was nicely cooked and tasted good, especially the lamb rump. Only slight negative was service sometimes slow. We didn’t order main course with starter, then had to get attention to make sure we got main course in time to finish before going to theatre.
