I really enjoyed my late lunch at Cote Islington. Delicious food and great service.

Good predictable chain - watch out for the set menus as they sometimes do not always bring these. I wish they would take a little more care at presenting the food, it has that feel for cooked well but plated up in a rush . Food atmosphere value are all v reasonable

Sometimes Cote Islington surpasses itself. The food is usually pretty good, but on Monday it was up with best at a fraction of their prices.

Amazing evening at this restaurant. Me and my partner are breakfast regulars and today was our first day going for dinner and we were equally as impressed with the service, food and atmosphere

The service was extremely slow, to the extent that the main meal didn't reach our table until the time we needed to leave. This is despite us ordering from the express lunch menu, and telling the staff from the beginning that we had just a 1 hour lunch break. We therefore ended up taking our main meals away, and getting the whole meal free of charge.

service slow but charming, 20 minutes plus between ordering a drink and geting it, favourite dishes had run out (at 7.45pm? what's going on in the supply dept?) but substitutes for original choices were fine, overall an enjoyable evening

Enjoyed our lunch time here. A first visit and its perfect cozy atmosphere, and off the main road spot , makes for a perfect pit stop in Islington food was delicious and the staff and service was very good thoroughly recommend it.

Very pleasant experience. Food tasty and good ambience. Not too expensive for London. Waiters were very attentive. I would recommend it to anyone. Quite a few customers of all ages dining.

I usually rate Cote but this branch was a bit lack luster and food very over salted. We complained about it and the green salad was replaced but steak very salty as well. Interestingly I heard one of the other diners complain about his food being to salty as well. It's a shame I usually like Cote.

Good, varied menu served with panache. Pleasant surroundings and fairly priced. We always eat here before attending shows at Saddler's Wells. A real favouriterestaurant of ours.

Good location and menu. Slightly disappointed that the Christmas menu wasn’t available that evening but there were adequate other choices available. Good house red! Big thank you to the guys who have to bring all the food up a narrow staircase, passing guests on the way to the loos.

Great place with good staff and service was good. Brought me the wrong dish but quickly put that right. Our server did struggle with English but always referred to her boss if there was something she didn’t understand. No complaints.

Good food in pleasant rom. Roast chicken really good. Mussels rather small in size. Atmosphete really good. Confusing number of menus at lunchtime. Would visit again.

Cotes is consistently very good. The staff are always polite and friendly. I always go there for a quick early supper with friends. It is also very good value.
