We had a very enjoyable evening having returned for the first time since it re-opened. Everything we requested was sorted for us. The staff were very attentive and made us feel welcomed. Food as usual was excellent, good quality and the food was served and cooked as ordered. The creme caramel was delicious and the cheese board covered a good selection of cheeses and the bread was very tasty. Overall a very good meal and we are hoping to return again soon for my birthday on Saturday, 28th.

Excellent service and food. The only issue was that the special cocktail that attracted us was not available at the time of our visit.

The restaurant was extremely busy when we arrived for our pre booked table. No problem though, we were shown to our table and service and food quality was excellent. It took a little time for the food to come, but it wasn't a problem as we were catching up with friends. Really good atmosphere in the restaurant. Overall a very good brunch!

The staff at cote were wonderful! It was a birthday celebration and they couldn’t have done more to make it a special occasion for us. I will absolutely be returning!

On arrival, I mentioned it was my mother’s birthday. There was no acknowledgement of this by the waitress during the whole meal. This is very unusual from my previous experiences at Cote. We were a table of 11 so I felt there could have been more attention paid to us in terms of service. The food was usual good quality and wait times were minimal without feeling rushed. We are regular diners at Cote so it was disappointing not to experience a better birthday celebration with my 77 year old mother and family.

A few issues with the food however all handled very well.

There was a bit of confusion over our food order but thought we had got it sorted but when we got the bill we had been charged loads of extras. I had steak and all I had on my plate was a steak & some chips. No garnish etc it looked so plain & not tempting. We decided we wouldn't be going back for a while. The staff, I should add , were very friendly and helpful opening doors etc.

My three courses from the main menu were fine. One of our party had to return there steak dish because the meat was tough. Were made to wait over twenty minutes for our maim courses which was surprising as the restaurant was fairly quiet-it finely arrived after I asked the waitress to see what was happening (this has happened to us before it might be useful to review your shift changing pattern at this later part of the afternoon)

Food was great as always. One gripe - I get email offers from Cote and often book a meal when I get that month's offer - this time it was for a Pampelle Spritz. But whenever I turn up for the meal I always have to explain to staff about the offer, it never just gets served. It should surely just be on the booking. Thks

We attended cote for a meal on my birthday and we weren't disappointed. From the outset, you step through the doors and you are looked after. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken promptly, we were served by polite attentive staff. The food was lovely and I was even given a complimentary drink to end the meal when they discovered it was my birthday.

Food lovely as always. Calamari had extra seasoning which is always a huge plus.

As always, a great meal and good service. My favourite restaurant.

4 of us dined here, all ordering steak cooked different ways and all requests were met. Food always cooked to perfection, lovely selection of sides, glazed carrots and creamed spinach are a definite favourite. Love the wine menu here!

Took advantage of the August cocktail special. Definitely worth joins their mailing list for the monthly specials. Had the two course lunch - minute steak. Despite being thin it was still medium rare. The creme caramel was superb, better than previous visits. The staff were friendly & solicitous My only issue were the persistent wasps in the restaurant.

I have just been diagnosed as having a gluten intolerance and was pleaaed to see a great Gluten Free menu, with great service.

very happy with service staff very friendly, had the early special deal , with the Rib eye steak which was ok and cooked as requested was a little chewy not premium meat was acceptable , felt little cramped at the back of the restaurant could improve the seating arrangements
