Côte Horsham

We waited over an hour for our meal. No good reason as everyone else was getting theirs. I chose sea bass on braised fennel. My fennel was hard and sent back, it came back just as bad, so I couldn’t eat it. My husband and daughter’s choice were ok. They gave us a free glass of wine which was cheap and nasty. Our puds were delicious and they took off a bit to compensate which was kind, but then added the tip! We love Cote, but that wasn’t a good experience. Sorry!

Great atmosphere & once again great service & lovely food. We were greeted by very welcoming staff who took our order very quickly & the food was served very quickly too. Very delicious & great value with their breakfast menu. Once again another lovely visit.

Lovely welcome from your staff. Early evening meal, so quite quiet when we arrived, but busy by the time we left, however, there was no suggestion of rushing us through to release the table. Food first class - discounted January 2 / 3 course menu. Dietry requirement accommodated. Whilst issue was corrected without question - if you advise when you arrive you are eating on a January discounted offer, do please make sure the bill presented has the discount applied.

We always go to Cote for our birthdays and this outing did not disappoint us. We both had the chicken and was delicious. And I normally avoid chicken in a restaurant! The service was brilliant as well.

Another great meal at Horsham Cote. However yet again it’s marred by being over charged. At the outset because of past experiences my friend and I clearly stated we were on the £9.99 2 course menu. After a lovely meal The bill arrived and we’d been charged £11.99 each. In the scheme of things it’s ‘only’ £2 each, but why??? We heard The waitress say the same thing to another table, ‘oh I wasn’t aware’. She went away and corrected it without an issue, but in my mind it lets you and your reputation down Cote!

It was all perfect delicious and lovely until ........ a long hair was found in the food we sent it back and it was replaced but very off putting as it was a birthday celebration

A lovely lunch, good food and attentive service, I love dining at the Cote Brasserie in Horsham.

The meal was lovely but we did have long waits between courses.

Although always busy we had the usual pleasant and friendly experience. It can get rather noisy at times.

Spoiled by the Duty manager I always request table 11 if possible It’s a table for two I dine here s lot On our arrival two people had just been sat at table 11 !!! This area is surrounded with tables for two The manager said we could have another table Yes I said but why were the others sat there when there was plenty of other tables I’m still waiting for an answer He’s not pleasant at any time but on this occasion he excelled himself I won’t be rushing to go back

Always an enjoyable, well presented meal with a good choice of delicious food.

We were shown to our table immediately on arrival having booked on line. Menus were available as soon as we were seated. The order for drinks was taken as soon as we had decided and our orders for the main courses from the set lunch menu were dealt with swiftly in spite of the large number of patrons. However, there was some delay on clearing the table and offering the dessert menu following the main meal, which detracted from the overall enjoyable experience.

Excellent venue for excellent food. Wood have given top marks had it not been for the long wait for one of the 14 dishes. Otherwise excellent all round and definitely going again

The meal was good value and very tasty with exception of the Sardine starter which was severely lacking in Sardine and taste.

Lovely New Year’s Eve meal. Generous portions. Excellent crepe! Very good wine choice. We chose 530pm arrival and had a very happy few hours

We visit frequently always enjoy Cote and have visited many times and never disappointed. Marked down this time as the service was so long. This is not normally the case and the new menu was the given reason.

We had a lovely meal. We booked for 9pm NYE. When we arrived there was a queue out the door. The restaurant was extraordinarily busy but the team did everything they could to keep us all happy.
