Côte Horsham

Not as organised as we are used too. Staff not as attentive.

We had a very wobbly table for 6. We brought this to the managers attention who couldn’t do anything about it. He did offer to move us to a bench table , but as we had prebooked a round table 2 weeks ago to celebrate our daughters graduation, we were slightly disappointed with our regular restaurant today.

Excellent French grub and excellent quick and cheerful service, good ambiance. Parking advice on the website would be helpful.

Excellent breakfast as usual! We had a lovely new waitress I think it was her first day. It was nice to see the other staff supporting her.

Lovely calm atmoshphere with other diners. Our waiter was professional, friendly and very attentive. Food as always, brilliant. We have recenlty tried another newish restaurant to Horsham with high expectations only to feel very disappointed. Our favourite is still Cote and remains very good value for the standard of food and service.

Delicious food and good service mostly. Had to wait a little while for a pre booked table but not too long. It’s hard to hear as it’s quite noisy. It would have been a far more pleasant experience if we could have heard each other properly.

lovely Breakfast as always I will always ask for a window seat and the staff always give me a lovely table neatest to the window

Whilst busy, you need to be more attentive to your diners beyond the 'how's the food's 30 seconds after the meal is served. Beyond that, good atmosphere and food good.

Lovely food, lovely service with the best staff possible. Make a mistake when ordering a meal but without any fuss was rectified straight away and it was completely my fault not yours.

We had the pork tenderloin. It was delicious. The staff are attentive without being intrusive. Lovely evening .😀

Charming waitress: excellent food and drink, served quickly when needed, and in a relaxed way when we were chatting, but always with a professional, respectful and friendly manner.

We love date nights at Cote as it its always good and never disappoints. Service is always on point and the quality above average. In all it’s a winner!

Took advantage of the A la Carte offer with a free bottle of wine. Excellent service and the duck cassoulet just exceptional, perfect for a chilly winters day.

The waitress was especially attentive by ensuring that we received rapid service when ordering drinks and food and taking care over the small amendment to the vegetables with our main course and checking that we had taken advantage of the January offer for the lunchtime set menu (£9.95 instead of £11.95 per person). Thank you.

We understand it was Saturday night, but unfortunately we thought the service was very slow. (between starters and main meal). Our waitress did apologise for slow service, but it was still disappointing. It was our second visit to your restaurant. Most of our meals were very good although my goats cheese salad was soaked in oil and was very very soggy....I left most of it. I thought I would be honest rather than put any bad comments on trip advisor ! Mrs S. H.

We had a lovely evening and the a la carte menu had something for all of us and was prepared wonderfully and was delicious. The staff were charming and pleasant and lighthearted and looked after the four of us very well - so thank you very much! The main courses and puddings and cheese platter were all great and beautifully presented. And the seedlip non-alcoholic cocktail was full of amazing flavours¬

Have been coming to Cote since it arrived in Horsham & have always loved the food, atmosphere & service but since the reopening the service is not the same. The food is still delicious, the atmosphere is still the cosy brasserie buzz but wait staff seem much less engaged & are disinterested... dishes were brought to the table but delivered in an off hand manner, desserts were not presented to each person but held above the table until someone took it... this was not a large group! The wait staff who took our order was efficient, and took the order with care & presented wine & water quickly. I feel sad that a very favourite restaurant doesn’t now make the diners feel valued.

Excellent meal, good service and friendly staff. We love dining here and feel it is the best restaurant in Horsham. A good selection on the menu makes it a difficult choice but we will be back to try more dishes.

I find this restaurant, like many others these days, to be too noisy to provide a pleasant dining experience. Food is good and staff excellent. A quiet area, with carpet and noise damping furnishings would be very welcome and might tempt me to return.
