We came late on a Sunday night, ; perhaps we should have expected that some items would be sold out, but it was still a disappointment to our kids to learn that they were out of burgers! The service was excellent, and in the end we had a good meal and a nice evening.

My first time ant cote and I had such an amazing time. Food was delicious and big portions, I could finish my food. Service was outstanding by all staff especially Ardo- I think that’s his name. I would defiantly be returning. And thank you for my complementary bottle of wine.

Great evening. Lovely food, staff and venue. Cote Brasserie in Highgate is busy on a Saturday evening so book a reservation.

Mussels were nice and hot, but sauce only tepid. Pork belly overcooked so much that the skin could not be eaten. Prawns, potato and beef were good.

Fresh food nice drinks and polite service What’s there not to like??? There is one thing - too many children post school hours with loud moms !!!

Low key welcome, sound service, excellent food and an attractive price. Altogether a very satisfactory experienec which I would repeat without hesitation. (It seems that Cote rates the number of words more important than their import. A strange lack of perception, but the food is really good so who cares . Guy Morton-Smith

Natalia is a great member of staff. She was friendly and helpful at all times.Great service We really enjoyed the rhubarb cocktails too.

My wife and i both celebrated birthdays and were given a kir royale wine on our arrival.Both meals (3 coarses ) were superb.The manager welcomed us and was brilliant throughout. All the service and attention by waitresses was first class. Would say without doubt that Cote Highgate restaurant should be commended .Thank you all so much.Carolyn and Bernard Reisman.

Fantastic meal at Cote Highgate. The Crab Bisque was amazing, probably the best I've ever had, and served piping hot. The lamb rump was so tender it could be cut with a butter knife and cooked perfectly. The beef in pastry was also extremely tender. Creme caramel for dessert was the cherry on top for a wonderful meal. Better than many West End restaurants for a fraction of the price.

Gorgeous as always, great food and lovely service. Always a delight to visit. Always treated extremely well and the food is great.

We had a very enjoyable Mother's Day meal. The service was very attentive but not too obtrusive either. My gluten intolerance was also attended to with no fuss at all, which was lovely. Also we were very happy with our table, tucked away in the corner overlooking the tables below. The meal itself was excellent as was the price. Thank you, Mrs.Walpole

A very very busy day but still treated like we were the only ones there which, for a table of 7, is very impressive. All our food was delicious, from starters to mains to desserts. Thank you for such a perfect day

We had the premium menu for 4 people. The service was excellent but the noise unbearable due to a large party of about 14. We HAD TO MOVE TO DOWNSTAIRS SO WE COULD TALK. chicken again The food was better than the night before which we spent at Cote St Martins lane. There is was terrible. The main course of half a chicken was dry and overcooked. It came with a pat of butter in a bowl and french fries. All were very poor. The starter at highgate a crottin was dressed with apples and an acidic dressing. Not very good. The main of steak, which was £2.50 extra was average.

Our meal for three was excellent. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We have no complaints . It was a very pleasant two hours or so

The food was over cooked, served semi burnt, which made the chicken for both meals, of the chicken meals, dry and tasteless. I have to say this was unusual, because the food is normally cooked to perfection, which is the reason why I eat there, as I am fussy about quality, freshness etc..

The quality of the food and service coupled with pleasant surroundings and value for money was good and in keeping with our expectations for Cote Brasserie. The only drawback was with the ventilation and temperature of the Highgate branch. We were seated on the slightly raised mezzanine floor. It was a cold evening and the heating system did not operate so as to provide a mean temperature that was comfortable. Most of the time there were drafts of hot air and drafts of cold air and neither mingled. The overall feeling was cold and there was felt by all the diners within our area. We knew this because the adjoining gentleman (not old) had to resort to putting his thick half-coat back on and made a comment and other diners kept on their jackets and jumpers. It could have been that we were close to the service door and perhaps windows were open in the cooking area which disrupted the heating system. Thought I should draw this to your attention.

I had the Pork Belly which was very nice. My daughter had the Monkfish and she didn't feel the flavours worked well at all so she was disappointed. We ordered mussels to start - it would be nice if you could bring some complementary bread with that to soak up the sauce. The free drinks were lovely. Many thanks.

I'm never disappointed when eating at Côte's and last night was no different. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food delicious. It's always lovely to eat there.

One of my regular order at cote is tuna meal but sometimes it was a bit disappointing. However today my meal was absolutely stunning; perfectly cooked, fresh and soft!!! Absolutely delighted: English full breakfast and a burger were all top quality!!! Forgot to mention to the chef but you are a star!!!

We used to be regular customers at Camden for many years . We thought we would try Highgate but we’re very disappointed with the whole experience. The staff were pleasant but over stretched and the food was lacking in any flavour. My onion soup was good but my wife’s pea soup was tasteless, my main of goujons was average and my wife’s haddock was not only bland but floating in a tasteless olive oil . Overall disappointing.

I had a great lunch at cote Highgate today . Claudia our waitress really looked after us from the get go. The food and service was just amazing .

Food was mediocre and bland. Service was slow and without a smile. The salad on our mains had seen better days. 12.5% service charge is a joke and we asked to have it removed. All in all an experience I would not repeat any time soon.

I have been a long standing customer of Cote. My recent experience was not up to the normal standard. Crampy waitress... watery and tasteless risotto... Hopefully it will improve, It is a great location and generally excellent value.

We really enjoyed our dining experience this evening. A lovely buzz to the restaurant. A window seat with the reflection of Highgate Hill, after an unseasonably warm February day. I enjoyed my meal and the service is just above and beyond wonderful I've had breakfast here too and again lovely Really pretty relaxing restaurant and outdoor are is very inviting too.

Cote is usually very reliable and consistent. At Highgate the food was great but the Fish Parmentier had a great taste but was somewhat different to that served in three other London Cotes; Hampstead, St Martin's Lane and Tavistock Street. It was a much smaller dish, it was mainly prawns, very little fish and the potatoes were much more delicate little rolls rather than a harder topping. Not comparing as the Fish is usually as much as I can eat but this time I had room far a delicious desert. Being Father's Day it was even more noisy than usual.

It was a very nice meal and the staff were very helpful As it was my friend s birthday they gave her a cake with a candle which was very thoughtful

We visited Côte for brunch on Mothers Day. Everyone’s food was perfect and service fantastic, especially considering how busy it was. The hollandaise sauce was delicious! Would recommend.

In general, very positive experience. Food was great, service quick and attentive. Only downside of Valentine's dinner was very loud crying / shouting kid few tables from us. I know it is not restaurant fault and for sure it is not happening every night but it actually ruined a little ambience.

Busy, well-lit, exudes success while maintaining at table level the importance that you as an individual matter, and that your experience - food,ambience and value for money are all important. As ever, a quality evening out. Keep it up!

Absolutely lovely evening. Was celebrating two 21st birthdays, all the meals were cooked beautifully, the service was excellent and our waitress gave us two chocolate puddings for the birthday boy and girl! Thank you very much. Will definitely be returning
