We had a great time at Le Cote restaurant in Highgate last night the food was excellent, great selection not only from the main menu but also from the month special menu where they offered Monk fish & Lamb shank, I choose the latter & was amazing. There was also a great selection of wine on offer I had a bottle of the house red which at around £17.00 per bottle is great value. My wife & I will definitely be returning.
Very good set lunch - service excellent, price reasonable. This is a useful restaurant as the quality of food is always high and the ambience is quiet enough to be able to have a conversation.
Four of us with four very tasty hot dishes served by a smiling and helpful waiter. Perfect, recommended. One of the better ones in Highgate Will return many times.
Mains (sea bass) were well prepared and service excellent. The evening menu is getting a bit stale (for us regulars) and seems to need new chicken dishes that are different from the lunchtime ones. A.N
We love Cote Highgate. It rarely disappoints and on the very rare occasion when something isn’t quite right, the staff fixes it. Excellent, wide ranging menu. Good atmosphere.
Very good but expensive bill for two courses and no wine. Very pleasant servers but too impatient to take our order. No one mentioned the free bottle of wine, can this be carried forward please
Same reliable food and pleasant service as in so many Cote Brasseries. I had to insist a bit to have a quiet table but that was quickly sorted. Good value. Parking nearby is easy as residents parking is only from 10.00 to 12.00 am
The main course (fish) had to be reheated due to still being raw inside and the January offer of a complimentary bottle of wine was added to the bill. Both issues were dealt with, but unfortunately not up to Côtes usual standard.
The food was not as good as it has been in the past. We did complain about underdone red cabbage and far too much raw onion on a smoked salmon starter. To be fair they did adjust the bill but I don’t think we will rush back.
Everything about our evening in Cotes was lovely. The staff were so friendly the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Thank you for a great evening
Have eaten with family on two consecutive Saturday evenings and whilst enjoying good food and service have been very put off by the level of background noise. We will try and choose a quieter time in future but would appreciate provision of an area where we can hear each others' conversation
Had a great meal, and service was excellent, only fault was that we pre booked a specific table, and it was occupied when we arrive and were given another table, but overall we had a great night
It is a lovely neighborhood restaurant. The food is always fresh and a good standard . The service can sometimes be a bit erratic. Some of the staff could be a little more cheerful.

Excellent, friendly service and the food very good with the only piece of real fried bread I've tasted in years (delicious!) Been before and will go again
Always consistent - the service and the food - a pleasant welcome and accommodating with seating - Thank you Cote Brasserie! May it continue to be of an excellent standard
Excellent food, very good service, good value and pleasant atmosphere. We regularly dine here and enjoy the changes in your menus which always offer a good range of typically French dishes.
Was as good value as always. Lunch menu a little less interesting than usual. Fish choice was sold out. Despite this, Cote is still the most reliable chain off restaurants we know.

Although there was a shortage of waiting staff, most obvious in time taken to bring wine,Cote should be proud of the effort made front of house.Good meal as usual although I would not rate Pissalidiere with cheese very highly.Enjoyed offer with free bottle of wine.
I didn't appreciate that both waiters constantly reached across me to pick up or put things down for my companions. There was plenty of space to walk around. I found this quite rude and below the standard I would expect. Food was quite nice
Although very busy on Boxing Day, service was very attentive. One main course arrived very late, apart from that, everybody was satisfied and the bill was reasonable
Food very good for the price, staff very good, layout and furnishings good. Only drawback was the noise. However, I appreciate that Cote have no control over the decibel levels emitted by their customers!
The place looked really nice and most of the staff were friendly (some of them seemed not too bothered with us). The food was great, but it was a bit disappointing that we constantly had to remind the staff about our Cote rewards - not all the waitresses were familiar with the deal that we were offered (e.g. free starter and dessert wine) and after several reminders (the shift changed while we were there, so we had to explain everything again), the bill was still wrong and we had to ask to have it re-calculated. Cote rewards are greatly appreciated, but more needs to be done to ensure that waiting staff are aware of them, so that customers do not need to be seen as desperate to get them. Still, we will definitely be back soon for some more delicious food!
I really enjoyed being there, and will certainly come again, although I have been several times already. The waitress was particularly attentive and very lovely.
This visit wasn't as great as previous ones. We were put on a table tucked so far into a corner that the waiting staff couldn't actually physically get to us - when they noticed us. Not the best service and they forgot our side order that we had to remind them of twice. They brought it when we had finished the meal. Just one of those nights that things didn't go well but it won't put me off visiting. I will just never take that label again if offered.
We went for a New Years Eve lunch and it was wonderful. We were too early for the special menu but we had a great meal. Our friends joined us for drinks and the staff were accommodating.
Good food -everything fine except it really is quite noisy - a strain to hear across the tables. We requested a table in the quieter area but because of staffing levels they had decided not to open that part -so we were nearer to neighbours.
Excellent Meal! - Everything was lovely from the staff to the food. Thoroughly recommended. One of us had duck and the other the steak - beautifully presented and hot!
The service has very much improved at this Cote in the last year or so. We went to celebrate my father's birthday today and had a lovely meal - good service, tasty food and all very enjoyable.
Enjoyable NYE dinner. Value for money. Service great until our waiter went off shift and my wife received poor service when getting her dessert. Wanted a fresh crepe but given a cold and poor looking dessert. After raising issue on she was given a fresh crepe. Otherwise an enjoyable evening.
Good food at a reasonable price, served efficiently in a pleasant room. The charcuterie starter is particularly good value. Cote restaurants are a reliable treat for all the family.
Steak was rather small and over-cooked, despite specific instructions to the contrary. Was refunded by the manager, but should have been got right at the outset. Waiter seemed to be annoyed that we weren't ready with our drinks order.
the food was good but the service was sloppy the waitress appeared to be new and not rained properly, her attitude was not good and she was not attentive
Food was ok, daughters fries were still frozen! Fly problem in this branch, this was very annoying! Flying around food and the table, menus came in handy to swipe away, but unfortunately staff didn’t care! How hygienic is this.....won’t be back to this branch...
Probably the best meal I’ve had there yet & they’ve all been good. The service was fantastic. We were all looked after very well! Very friendly, smiley and we all had a wonderful evening. Thank you!

Very good level of service The food was good and the seating was excellent because we were in the corner seat, which is where we meet for our Company Christmas Lunch every year 😎
Service was good but the restaurant was lacking in atmosphere. Also the canned music did not help. I will go back again in the future.
Very helpful and pleasant service, my sea bass on fennel was succulent and the wine, and, as someone who doesn't go for rose wine much, the Sancerre rose was excellent.
This is the first time we have eaten at Cafe Brasserie. The experience exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed both the food and the service. We shall certainly visit again.
We had an excellent 3 course set menu for £22.95 each which is offered between 12.00 noon - 07:00pm The Le Cote Highgate is a truly splendid restaurant we great service, tables well spaced out & a great atmosphere with reasonable & fairly priced food. The House red at £16.50 per bottle is a bargin. Kevin & Teresa
Cote in Highgate nice looking restaurant. Service was a bit slow but it was very busy. Food was excellent. Salmon perfectly cooked. Amazing considering the volume of diners.
Our waitress was very friendly and nice, didn't catch her name though. Early bird menu extremely good value for money and would definitely visit again. Food very good.
Lovely food . Excellent service as we a big table of 10. Our waiter was lovely and this is our favourite Côte in north London
Perfect atmosphere and very attentive staff members. We shall all return.
This is a large airy restaurant which is always popular. The food is consistently good and the staff are always friendly. They always give you lots of time to chat!

As usual a great dining experience. Côte never fails to impress
As always food was nice and service was lovely, it is just a very good place to last minute pop round to and have a nice relaxing meal with family and/ or friends
Disappointing visit to Highgate’s Cote. Ordered food from menu to be told a few minutes later we were giving the wrong menu! Then when I ordered the chicken with fries the fries were cold... fresh hot fries were delivered a few minutes later. All in all disappointing lunch ...
Leisurely evening dinner with a friend , attentive service , nice food , tasty , nicely presented , although the steak could have been a tad hotter , would return .
As a nearby resident I always find that Cote has a varied and interesting menu with very good service and value for money. But our last visit with a new comer the Steak Tartare and the Breton Fish stew (with chips) were superb. The restaurant itself is warm and welcoming. Your staff can knock spots off Michelin Star type establishments. I always look forward to you special offers. Gillian Danos
lovely evening / great food and had a very good table at the front of the restaurant. I would recommend the chicken . we will definately go back
