Food was good and also good value. However, service was not up to usual standard-short of servers?? Also bill was incorrect and I had to point out the promised discount.
Excellent evening for the three of us. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the superb swordfish. Very good service apart from the last bit when there was a service delay hiccup, no problem though. Highly recommended. The staff were polite and helpful as always, in keeping with the many times' it's our number one choice.
Excellent service from our waitress & food was delicious. I am a fairly regular customer & yesterday's experience of service was outstanding. The waitress was from Moldova. Please compliment her on her work.
Reliable stalwart! Never disappoints. Good location. Good service. Good choice of food. Good value for money. Good wine list. The John Lewis of the restaurant world!
Excellent waitress, food good one main cold but lovely when returned. Also removed from the bill without even mentioning thank you. A good evening. Thanks
All serving staff were friendly and courteous. Very impressed with the efficiency. Eventhough something was not on the menu, they said that it would be no trouble to make it for me.
We had an enjoyable breakfast with excellent service. Delicious jam and croissant! Will certainly come again Free parking outside on a Sunday was a bonus! Thank you
Received with a friendly greeting, followed by attentive and thoughtful service. Nice atmosphere, great food at a very reasonable price. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
We enjoyed our set menu meal at Highgate. This being said, we noticed that the portions have gone smaller and we were very disappointed with the bread. You used to have delicious sourdough bread but this time the baguette was not the same at all. Please revert to the previous bread. The staff as usual was very pleasant. Thanks a lot.
We booked here for some brunch on a Saturday morning. We are not local and was given advice on where to park which was really helpful.Great food and customer service. Highly recommend.
A pleasant welcome awaited us at Cote Brasserie as we were seated. We had a deal which gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and our orders were efficiently dispatched, not exactly friendly but as I say efficient! Food was good as was wine and though not Parisian was a tasty meal. Thank you Cote
excellent interesting variety of choices, easy location for my need, server helpful and the food arrived quick on time for my need, i.e. rushing for theatre immediately after, excellent value
The quality and value for money is second to none at Cotes. For us Cotes has no competition in Highgate, hence we use it regularly.
It was a great place to meet friends and catch up. Service was excellent and we all enjoyed our lunch! We will certainly return again.
Food overheated to almost boiling point. potatoes so overheated and overcooked that they were inedible. Otherwise a pleasant meal. Onion soup very good and pork belly delicious.
The staff were so busy for Mothers Day but still managed a smile and a lovely welcome. Food was good and we were not rushed.
Situated on the main street, not far from the Gatehouse Theatre excellent food great waiter. I had the seabass which was fresh and the pea and mint soup refreshing and delicious. Would definitely go to that location again
Absolutely superb, attentive and caring service from the team in Highgate. A venue I happily return to time and time again as they are so good
We had a lovely experience in the restaurant for Mother’s Day, we will definitely be back, so Thank-You so much to all the staff. See you next time
We are regulars at Cote and today which was Mothers day the place was heaving...the service quick and friendly and the food was great,....well done Cote
Excellent Mother’s Day meal. All our courses were tasty and we were well attended to by staff. The Pork belly I had is one of the best I’ve tasted and it never disappoints.
Food consistently of a good standard. Staff slightly harassed but could be forgiven as it was a packed Mother's Day Brunch and the restaurant was very full with everyone arriving at the same time.
Usually can rely on cote for good food and service....tonight not so great. Vegetable sides came much later than mains; toilets were in desperate need of ckean and no hand towels; and pudding burnt. 😕
Lovely mothers day breakfast. Waitress very helpful and friendly and we had veggie, English breakfast and French toast. Will definitely be back❤️thanks cote highgate love it
Average food and service Could be improved Chicken very over cooked and dry Fish soup over spiced Bread and butter delicious!!! Busy with large table
Meeting friends for breakfast. Veggie breakfast ordered but avocado not ripe so disappointed. Waited quite a while for food too. Not my best start to the day.

I gave this an average rating for two reasons - my salmon arrived half-raw and the bathroom facilities were below par. I have to say that as soon as I pointed out the salmon, the staff were very responsive, sending it back and ensuring a new one was freshly cooked, but this did mean with the delay I was eating way after my dining companion. Also, the bathroom was not only freezing cold, but one toilet was blocked and the other had run out of loo paper at one point. That aside, the restaurant team were absolutely lovely, highly attentive and extremely friendly. Although I've been to other branches, it was my first time at Cote Highgate. I hope that if i return, these problems are not repeated.
We love visiting this restaurant when we come to Highgate. ...great breakfast ...great staff....what's not to love! Would recommend to family and friends without doubt.
Great food and excellent service . Good attention to the young children with me and sensible menu suggestions for them. Always pleasant atmosphere and good welcome on arrival

Great staff.(some quirky) Good food. Variety of menu. Changes frequently. Wine list range is fine. Eat there average once a week alway happy to take anyone along
Nice food, very good choice, great service and good value. What’s not to like? Great local restaurant that never disappoints, so we will be going back!
Thank you so much Cote - we had a lovely evening. Service was great, food was delicious, and the restaurant had a really nice atmosphere.
Went here for a departmental lunch. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed all their three courses meals were delicious and excellent value. Would highly recommend and we will definitely go again.
We are frequent visitors to Cote, usually Notting Hill Gate in the main, and Hampstead Heath, enjoy these very much, and would praise those branches. Twice we have been to Highgate. The previous and this were unpleasant. On this visit the waiter serving us, obviously was having a bad night, the service was poor, unpleasant and in the end we took our deserts home as we did not want to remain any longer.
The vegetarian breakfast which came with apple juice and a hot drink was tasty and good value. The Breton chicken and cod goujons (both came with French fries) were competently cooked. A very dependable local.
During our late lunch or early dinner today at Cotes, we had an excellent meal for two. The steak and burger were cooked to perfection and our choice. We would highly recommend Cotes restaurant to our friends and family.
Starters was served wrongly 3 times, on 4th time the goats cheese salad was cold and the brioche with the liver parfait was not toasted. The main course chicken had a funny 'tang' to it and was not nice. the tarte tartrin desert was the best thing about the meal.
This was a good visit to this restaurant. The food was very good and excellent value. The service was not up to their usual standard
Very disappointed. Filet steak very thin, wife had sirloin steak and asked for it well done. When it was served blood was oozing out of it . We sent it back but it was still not well done when it came back. We then had apple tart in for dersert but the pastry was overlooked. We will not be returning
Staff attentive and efficient. Food presented well and good value. We were given a nice table for 5 people where it was not too noisy. Radu the waiter was molto simpatico

Our visit was enjoyable, there was a nice ambiance, reasonable service and good food. My only comment on the not so positive was my partner's serving was much smaller than mine, he had the haddock main and I had the beef bourguignon - I'm a smallish female and he's a large male.
Very welcoming staff. Starter arrived very quickly so we asked to put a hold on the mains as we wanted a relaxed evening. No problem. Food from early evening menu was very good, butternut squash soup was tasty, could have done with some bread with it. My friends salmon tartine was salmon on toast with salad, very nice. We both had poulet grillee for main, delicious. Portions are a bit smaller than a la Carte menu but perfectly adequate and good value for money. Always have a good experience at the Highgate branch of Cote, staff are friendly and efficient, good ambience and food well cooked and presented.
On a chilly February night, Côte's Specials really hit the spot. Forgoing starters, my partner opted for the pan roasted monkfish fillet wrapped in bacon, served with Lyonnaise potatoes, Champagne beurre blanc, tomato concasse and tarragon; she chose a glass of Château Du Poyet 2015 Muscadet De Sevre Et Maine Sur Lie to help it go down. I opted for the braised lamb shank with wholegrain mustard potato purée and a veal and rosemary sauce. Since a side dish of Jerusalem artichoke gratiné with bacon lardons, croutons, leek and Gruyère sauce was on offer, we went for it. A glass of the Château Treviac Corbieres 2015 was the suggested accompaniment to the lmb, and a large one went down well. The food was excellent as ever; thought a couple of points docked for not supplying a serving spoon for the Jerusalem artichoke gratiné, nor a side plate for my lamb shank bone…
There seems to be a trend for staff members being all from the same country and having great enthusiasm for blaring instructions out in there native tongue and having little time and patience in talking to the customers and if they do they seem to lack a level of enthusiasm when doing so.
I eat at Cote quite frequently as I think it’s generally consistently good food at reasonable prices. In Highgate however, twice now I’ve ordered the roast chicken with a sauce and had to complain about the sauce being cold. The plates are always cold and I’m finding the food generally not hot enough. The new manageress was equally frosty.
Connor is a real asset to this restaurant We will be back Excellent food and service
I didnt mention it was my birthday but the waitress overheard our chatter and brought 4 kir royales! What a lovely surprise!! Everything was great!
The food was great but the service was really slow, albeit a Sunday afternoon. I would recommend the restaurant but be prepared to wait a bit.
Just simple, gorgeous food. Cote Highgate is always spotless, service is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is the restaurant is welcoming, excellent choice of wines (the Muscadet especially). Would always recommend *****
