As always s a lovely meal, staff lovely would recommend as always

Very poor! Unfortunately! Cold watery sauce came with the Fillet steak, i had to send it back as i had Poured it over my food! no apology from the staff. The same with another member of our group. Afterwards the waiter said it didn't look right but for some reason still served it! We all ended up eating at different times. The waiter then kept bringing us food for another table. A dirty glass from pervious diners was on the table when we arrived and napkins missing. They then had the cheek to still charge full price around £160.00. When i told the waiter to take the service charge off he became argumentative stating that it had to be paid! Clearly much improvement is needed, perhaps a bit of training? I have eaten here several times and usually have a great time! It was a real waste of money and time! We were not offered a single penny off or a comp of any kind! Highly unlikely to ever return again and would never recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Food was good and service was amazing great night overall.

Main meals are the same size as starters, so we was starving a hour later. Julian ( I’m sure that’s his name) new waiter in Highgate branch was lovely and helpful, very attentive, Won’t be going back, food was average and not enough. I’ve gave 5stars for Julian the young waiter, without him they would have one

Very comfortable restaurant with good service. Unfortunately the food was quite disappointing. Main courses were ok, but starters were not so good. Pizzaladier was bad.

We waited a very long time between courses. Gave up in the end on waiting for our coffee/desert order to be taken. My gazpacho was inedible because of the amount of chili in it and my delicious haddock was spoiled with an accompaniment of greaseproof paper!

We love Cote and see it as our local kitchen as it is right next door! Always reliable delicious French food.

The lunch menu we had was AVERAGE and the portions SMALL. Very little meat in the shepherds pie, sea bream was tiny. Like a child’s portion. My guests enjoyed their sardines starter. Stylish restaurant however and couldn’t fault the service. Better off choosing from the main menu.

The Sole of the specials could have been better cooked and with less butter.

Always a pleasure to visit Cote in Highgate. There's no place as nice in the village really.

Very pleasant,. Waiter very professional and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him.

This Cote is our local brasserie of choice and we are regulars. So we do tend to get a little spoilt and get our favourite table, which we did again even thought on this Friday night the place was very busy.

Overall the food was good and the service. I had a goats cheese salad for starters and the leaves in the salad we’re past their best. We have been coming to Cote for many years and have always felt happy with all aspects of the restaurant. (Just the odd blip).

Outstanding valve for money always punches above it weight this place especially Kia royals

We had a friendly welcome. When we arrived at our table we were given a complementary drink as it was my birthday which was a lovely gesture. The food was amazing and the service was excellent! I would definitely visit again!

Short staff and not attentive. We had to constantly chase up the one waiter looking after our area. We told the manager we are regulars and celebrating a special anniversary , he said he would send us a special celebratory drink . We are still waiting!

We had a great time last Saturday we both had the August special of Hake with roasted peppers absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly throughout our time there, will be returning to Highgate restaurant in the near future. Kevin & Teresa

We ordered three steaks and they were cooked wrong.all overcooked and dry. Very disappointing

Great atmosphere again and super food. The half roast chicken with fries is amazing but then so is the fillet steak! 😜

Exceptional food. The haddock fishcakes and the vegetable tart were very well received. We opted for the prix fixe pre seven menu - which is excellent value. The restaurant wasn't terrible busy but the staff were attentive and the food arrived at the right temperature and the timing was good. As ever a positive authentic experience. Best on the high street.

Overall the food was good but having to slice a slab of potato puree that came with my chicken was not pleasant. Either came out of a box or was sitting so long that it had solidified...ugh.

Good food and service. I don't like gratuities being automatically added to the bill. I know they can be removed but they shouldn't be added in the first place. I also think that like most 'chain' restaurants you should be able to get discount codes on Voucherclub etc..

Excellent service. Attentive and polite. Nice décor. However, a little expensive for what you get.
