Good food, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere make for an enjoyable evening. Would like a better selection of beers and perhaps some cocktails on the drinks menu.

Delicious, generous and reasonably priced food, served by friendly and efficient staff in lovely surroundings. What more can one ask for?

First time having breakfast and it was yum! Cote never lets us down.

I am only able to give two stars as the plate of food and drinks I had were unfortunately not very nice at all. I ordered the french toast with said it came with fruit salad. I was expecting winter berries or strawberries, blueberries, raspberries etc as is normal with french toast. When it arrived I was bemused to see the fruit salad mostly comprised of different types of melon with a couple of grapes and one strawberry. Whoever thinks someone wants french toast with melon? Bizarre combination that just didn’t work. No thought had been put into this. The toast itself was overcooked and dry. On top of this the coffee I ordered was very bitter. The fresh orange juice was so tart and sour it was not pleasant. My sister told me after the meal her eggs florentine were not good - one of the eggs was basically hard boiled and the muffins were burnt. The only reason we didn’t complain is that we were treating my grandfather to brunch and as it was a family occasion we didn’t want to make a fuss in front of him. I have been to other branches of Cote so many times but this was a real disappointment. I have no complaints with the staff - they were very friendly and timings were all fine.

Very pleasant evening. The dinner was excellent (my Breton chicken had loads of meat on it), great service and a pretty reasonable price for an area like Highgate on the Saturday before Christmas.

A lovely evening food was their côte’s Reliable standard but unlike previous experiences the service was very warm and helpful and once we ordered fast.

Your restaurant is extremely good value for money and always very enjoyable.

The Calamari starter was served very quickly and came out cold on the inside. I ordered the steak from the christmas menu it was over cooked and too tough to eat unable to cut into the meat or chew. Very dry and tasteless. Overall very disappointing.

We really had a good time at Highgate Le Cote last Saturday, service was very friendly & the choice of food on the menu was amazing. The house Red wine was very reasonably price at under £17.00 per bottle. We will definitely be returning. K&T

For two course menu for £12 was brilliant. Some of the most tasty food I’ve had in a long time. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend it

Party of six. Poor service. One soup was cold. One salmon dish cold. Two gratin potatoes did not arrive with salmon dishes and eventually arrived cold although the outside of the dish was hot due to Inattentive preparation in the kitchen..

Would have been higher but for the noise.. We accepted that this was due too the Xmas season. My ‘Pork tenderloin’ was pork belly. My nephew’s steak was chewy. Desserts were delicious.

Not good. The restaurant wasn't busy but the service was appallingly slow. Our main course arrived and was whipped away before the plates touched the table, with the waiter citing that our order was wrong. 2 minutes later, the same dishes arrived back, with another waiter saying, there was nothing wrong with the order. One dish came incomplete, without the spinach which was part of the dish. The red wine ordered was forgotten, the waitress had to be reminded. All in all, not a resounding success.

Great atmosphere fantastic food , quite noisy but the food and service made up for it .

Food was nice but the server was simply awful. Sour mood. No please or thank you once, snatched plates and glasses over people Not like Cote in other places. What a shame. Server is in the wrong job and needs reskilling

Everyone had their own choice of food, all of which was superbly presented and everything was perfection and gastronomic bliss!!! I speak as o e whose wife is as good as any Cordon Bleu and our food this evening was sheer perfection, Tattinger went down well as did the House Red. That was my second visit to Cõtes Highgate and we’ll definitely be seeing more of you in 2020!

As usual the service was very friendly and accommodating, the food was at its normal high standard, another enjoyable experience.

We attended the restaurant last Saturday & was offered a nice table adjacent to the front bar. The service was friendly & our food for both the starter & main course came out very quickly & was really good. We also tried a bottle of the house wine which at £16.70 was excellent. We will definitely be going to Highgate restaurant in the very near future. KT

Good value for money in a nice relaxing environment. They were playing really loud music when we arrived but quickly turned the volume down at our request. After all we come to eat and chat - not to listen to music.

Excellent and enthusiastic staff and service ... Food was excellent also....I had the November special lamb and vegetables......absolutely delicious..... the starter of the king prawns in a rich tomato sauce was full of flavour..... and the small chocolate pot with creme was outstanding..... Very comfortable seating on the sofa, clean and tidy..... the decor is a bit conservative and 1980’s and could do with a bit of brightening up.... certainly to attract a younger crowd..... Overall a very satisfactory experience...Thanks

Great lunch for myself and my daughter . Claudia our waitress was really good and very professional throughout our visit . Always was around to help with anything that we might need but not intrusive . Even though the restaurant was extremely busy the team seemed to be enjoying themselves and everything seem to be going great .

We were a party of 6 men. The menus were perfect for us and the food was good. We spent an enjoyable 2 hours

Overall very good. Only gripe was crepes were far too hot to eat and had to wait a good ten minutes to eat them properly.
