Great evening. Lovely food, staff and venue. Cote Brasserie in Highgate is busy on a Saturday evening so book a reservation.

Mussels were nice and hot, but sauce only tepid. Pork belly overcooked so much that the skin could not be eaten. Prawns, potato and beef were good.

Amazing meal and service ! My fiance and I booked a large table to celebrate our engagement with our families and we had a brilliant time. The food was delicious and the service was excellent !! Thank you to the Cote staff for making a special day even more special.

My wife and i both celebrated birthdays and were given a kir royale wine on our arrival.Both meals (3 coarses ) were superb.The manager welcomed us and was brilliant throughout. All the service and attention by waitresses was first class. Would say without doubt that Cote Highgate restaurant should be commended .Thank you all so much.Carolyn and Bernard Reisman.

Good food and very friendly service. Excellent value for money.

The quality of the food and service coupled with pleasant surroundings and value for money was good and in keeping with our expectations for Cote Brasserie. The only drawback was with the ventilation and temperature of the Highgate branch. We were seated on the slightly raised mezzanine floor. It was a cold evening and the heating system did not operate so as to provide a mean temperature that was comfortable. Most of the time there were drafts of hot air and drafts of cold air and neither mingled. The overall feeling was cold and there was felt by all the diners within our area. We knew this because the adjoining gentleman (not old) had to resort to putting his thick half-coat back on and made a comment and other diners kept on their jackets and jumpers. It could have been that we were close to the service door and perhaps windows were open in the cooking area which disrupted the heating system. Thought I should draw this to your attention.

Wonderful attentive service. Lovely food. I would throughly recommend for a lunch out with friends. My favourite go to restaurant.

I had the Pork Belly which was very nice. My daughter had the Monkfish and she didn't feel the flavours worked well at all so she was disappointed. We ordered mussels to start - it would be nice if you could bring some complementary bread with that to soak up the sauce. The free drinks were lovely. Many thanks.

I'm never disappointed when eating at Côte's and last night was no different. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food delicious. It's always lovely to eat there.

We used to be regular customers at Camden for many years . We thought we would try Highgate but we’re very disappointed with the whole experience. The staff were pleasant but over stretched and the food was lacking in any flavour. My onion soup was good but my wife’s pea soup was tasteless, my main of goujons was average and my wife’s haddock was not only bland but floating in a tasteless olive oil . Overall disappointing.

I had a great lunch at cote Highgate today . Claudia our waitress really looked after us from the get go. The food and service was just amazing .

Food was mediocre and bland. Service was slow and without a smile. The salad on our mains had seen better days. 12.5% service charge is a joke and we asked to have it removed. All in all an experience I would not repeat any time soon.

We really enjoyed our dining experience this evening. A lovely buzz to the restaurant. A window seat with the reflection of Highgate Hill, after an unseasonably warm February day. We visited Côte for brunch on Mothers Day. Everyone’s food was perfect and service fantastic, especially considering how busy it was. The hollandaise sauce was delicious! Would recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal as did our guest. Quick service and very pleasant staff. Disappointed that you had run out of whitebait and replaced it with Calamari . The butterfly chicken was lovely and tender and served with a nice jus (gravy) all beautifully cooked and presented. We are regulars at this branch of Cote Brasserie.

Service is brilliant, food is the best in the high st, doesn't matter which Cotes I go to, Sloane, Highgate, Charlotte at etc, the quality is throughout, not easy to achieve that standard, but they exceed

I have been using Cote for many years and it is one of the best in London. I have recommended Cote to many friends and also to guests where I work as a concierge.

Really good selection of menu, including a comprehensive gluten free menu and set meal at a competitive price. Accommodating staff, who kindly secured and returned a lost item to me very promptly! Nice atmosphere and good service.

The food was fantastic as always, the general ambiance in the restaurant was great, however the waitress made us feel like we were an inconvenience as she never smiled and tried to remove our dishes and drinks before we were finished. I appreciate that we had a late booking arriving after theatre, but I have never felt so rushed during a meal. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday with the family and I didn’t want to say anything to the staff about the service as I didn’t want to spoil our evening. But the overall mood of the dinner was rather spoilt every time the waiting staff approached with questions about whether we were finished, handing us our bill without being asked, or clearing the table whilst we were still eating. It was a real shame as generally we have a very good experience at your Highgate branch. Robert Hopkins.

We arrived for our early dinner prior to attending theatre int he WestEnd and was given a table by the very large picture window. So the dinner was lighted by wonderful natural light. The food was excellent. One of our choices was unavailable and we were given an upgraded choice. Most delicious.

Great meal, it was a friends 60th birthday made very special by cote. Attentive staff, delicious food. Will be back very soon.

A delicious relaxed lunch in the garden area of Highgate cote. As ever the quality of food and friendly service was second to none. Will definitely be back.

Service quite good staff attentive and polite. The food was not good at all. My husband had mussels to start with and spat the first one out as he said it was undercooked and tasted horrible. He was offered a replacement dish so chose the calamaries which were a little greasy. His chicken for the main course was dry, tough and very un-French! My husband didn't want to make a fuss and our friend, who was paying, enjoyed his starter of the chicken liver terrine but found his fish rather pedestrian. I just had the spinach and mushroom pancakes which were ok but please, use baking dishes which aren't chipped and damaged. Chocolate mousse was too sweet. The staff did give us the glass of wine, dessert and coffee as an apology for the mussels. We have had many over the years at various branches of Cote but this was really not up to standard at all. We were embarrassed at having taken our American friend there. I am sorry to say that I will not eat at Cote in the near future.

The manager of this branch of Cote and his team make every visit a great pleasure. It has become our favourite neighbourhood restaurant. The food is always dependably good, as is the service. Tonight we went to celebrate my partner's 50th birthday and they even let us bring our own cake!

Very enjoyable lunch - good value tasty food with lots of choice and very friendly staff. The praline crepe with caramelised bananas was to die for.

We particularly enjoyed our experience at Highgate Cote Brasserie last night. The quality of food and presentation was spot on. As usual the service was commendable and friendly.

We done at Vite regularly and the food is consistently good. Today, the service was slightly below par. There seemed to be confusion about our booking, after a few mins we were told that we could go and sit down - not shown to our table. Also the leather booth seating was covered in crumbs/food bits from the previous diners, the waitress saw me cleaning the seating and did nothing. Disappointing.

Lovely food and friendly staff. My only complaint is that the Saucisson Sec slices are paper thin and sometimes you only get half slices. Really petty! Other branches are more generous! Other than this, which they should really address, the food is always delicious!

This branch is my local and I use it often along with the Muswell Hill branch. Good value, pleasant staff and always a good experience I would recommend it.

Busy, well-lit, exudes success while maintaining at table level the importance that you as an individual matter, and that your experience - food,ambience and value for money are all important. As ever, a quality evening out. Keep it up!

Wonderful lunch, first time I’d be there with young children, nothing was too much trouble. Recommend
