Côte Highgate

I often eat at branches of Côte. I like the fact there is a wide choice of dishes and the set menu offers good value for money. This time I was lunching with a group of 8 friends and we all found something to our taste. The service was good also.

Hi I visited Cotes twice this week and on both occasions I found the food excellent and the staff friendly whilst still remaining very professional.

The food and service are extremely good. Waiters are friendly and efficient. The wine was good. The Ambiance îs very good with a good atmosphere. Highly recommended

As usual we thoroughly enjoyed the consistently high quality of the food and service. This particular restaurant we find the layout and ambiance to be relaxing while at the same time busy.

Really nice staff and a great flexible choice of spaces to sit in and out. I had the chicken which was great / with dauphenoise

Gorgeous food best steak I've had excellent service and generous too for giving us a free bottle of sparkling wine sine it was my boyfriends birthday. We will be back again soon thoroughly enjoyed every part of the evening 😊

Great food, waiters very efficient and helpful. I do notice though that the portions have got much smaller. I had to have a 3 course meal where I used to always have 2, as I was still hungry!

Cote retains a consistently high standard of cuisine. It's the best value eating out that I know and I thank my stars I have such a lovely and comfortable one near me (Highgate). Staff change a great deal and therefore they vary but generally speaking the service is very good. Love it!

Sat on the decking outside, patient staff with us as a table of un deciders!!! Food was lovely, service lovely, atmosphere lovely. Big perk: menu variety. Big Boo: paying for bread (pet peeve of mine!)

Enjoyable meal at very fair price. Plenty of choice. Food fresh and tasty and set menu before 7pm is exemt and very good value as well!

Really nice meal with many choices my wife and I like. This was our third visit and we have made different selections each time. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We had a free bottle of palatable white wine. We were given water to drink which really should have been cold without us having to ask for ice.

We enjoyed the evening. The food was lovely and good service. We chose where to sit and we were able to sit and relax. We will be going back.

Very good service and very friendly waiter. I feel that occasionally there should be a variation in your menu that has been there for a very long time

good value, good food, good service. a very adequate wine list at reasonable prices.not my first visit and certain ly not my last. also, parking is easy...making it all together a very relaxed evening.

And go often to this one and other Cotes around London. Have introduced this special experience to many friends. I write a foodie and restaurant review for my companies newsletter and Cote gets 10 stars

Staff pleasant but service of the starters was slow, it took nearly 45 mins due to 'a problem' in the kitchen and a desert was forgotten. The food that was delivered was just ok but nothing special. There clearly are some issues at this restaurant. Would I return to this restaurant? - maybe not.

Very friendly service, consistently good food. We requested a particular table which we got. It was very busy but every effort was made to maintain standards

Service was very slow considering that the restaurant was far from full...Tend to find the menus rather confusing, such as what you can order from each menu....on this occasion we each ordered a main course from different menus. I ordered goat cheese starter. Two goat cheese starters arrived and because of the long delay in service we decided we no longer wanted them because of time constraints and they were sent back. When the bill arrived we had been charged for the starters although they had been sent back. The waiter called the manager who said that because we had ordered from 'menu of the day' or 'special offers' we had to pay for the starters...It was all rather complicated so we had no option but to pay for them....Haven't been to a Cote for some time and had forgotten the ordering 'protocol'.

Good value.however we felt a bit rushed and weren't given much time to choose. Selection of wines is decent for a chain. I would go back

Very nice restaurant tables were spacious & well laid out. The services & food were excellent with a great choice of starters, mains & deserts plus the monthly special menu adding to choice & value, highly recommended

The waiting staff were really excellent but the food was pretty average. It was ok but there are much better places to go for similar money.

Fantastic service! The booking was easy and the waitress was helpful, friendly and polite. Would recommend to anybody. Even though this is a chain resteurant, I really felt that I was receiving the service afforded to up-market eateries.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening with very helpful service. The asparagus main course was fine - but not great. It was a bit woody. My husband loved his fish casserole. But for the asparagus we would have rated the experience 5.

A lovely evening with some very tasty food. Service was attentive but not overly so- there was a lovely atmosphere and we had a excellent time. Some excellent staff members!

Lovely place. Great with children and lots of room for a restaurant in Highgate. I would happily always recommend this restaurant and have been many times myself.

Food is always of a consistent standard and staff are very attentive. The ambience is conducive to discussion(there were 4 of us), especially as we were able to book our preferred table. Thank you.

Staff was the problem! Atmosphere was not great! It doesn't hurt to smile and they are getting paid for doing a job so why don't they do it with a smile I should have refused to pay for service charge

As before the service was great and the staff could not have been nicer. The breakfast was delicious and my friend and I came away feeling very content.

We love this Cote, for its pleasant and attractive ambience, its good food and it's truly exceptional staff. I was a bit disappointed with my lamb special tonight but that might be partly due to last week's having been so superb, the experience simply couldn't be repeated. My husband always finds the steaks excellent. My only big wish is that they would make the wine list more adventurous.

Had a large and disparate crowd of people to entertain and the staff were tremendous. The managers, the wait staff and the kitchen - perfect and patient. Everyone loved it, thank you.

Value good, but service not to normal standard-not enough staff and only 5 mains orders taken for a group of 6-so 1 person had to wait and then it was the wrong sort of pie!

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by front of staff who showed us to our table. Our waitress was extremely attentive and allowed us ample time to peruse the menu. Both the set menu and the a la carte offered a good choice and were very good value. The drinks arrived first with a cooler to keep the wine cold and the starters arrived shortly after. The waitress came over on several occasions during the mal to make sure that we were happy with our choices The main courses arrived promptly and the food was delicious and well presented. Overall the quality of the food and the service was very good ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable evening.

Good service Good choice of dishes on the set menu. This is my grandson's favourite restaurant - he loves: moules, steak frites and iced berries.

We placed at a table where I was constanay knocked by staff getting through to tables. The food was decidedly average . I wouldn't go there again

Great night. - Cote Highgarw is a fun venue with great menu. The added free kir royals for seven was excellent We'll definitely be back soon

We absolutely love Cote Highgate, the best restaurant in Highgate and it doesn't feel like a chain. Fantastic, friendly and professional staff and excellent food.

Great food at reasonable price. Duck is always good as are the specials. Can be a bit noisy because busy and popular but doesn't detract from the experience overall

Lively buzzy atmosphere and very attentive service. The food was to the normal high Cotes standards although we missed the Moules Mariniere which are not on the new menu.
