we were offered a choice of table. the waitress who recognised my friend was very friendly and attentive, excellent food.

We had a family brunch which is fine. Cote is very good with children

Always a pleasure to visit Highgate Le Cote its's our favourite restarurant due to the great astmosphere, lovely choice of food & friendly staff.

Went with a group of 8 people for my birthday. Excellent service and the staff made my birthday evening really special. The food was delicious and Phillipa the Manager could not gave been more helpful and attentive. Thank you.

We had a very enjoyable evening. Our waitress was very smiley and gave us excellent service. It was very busy and the noise level was difficult, especially for those who have hearing difficulties.

Very good meal and service. However they cleared all the tables around us while we were still Eating, not a nice feeling and other diners still in the restaurant.

Lovely food and atmosphere, a little noisy at times. Great to have a separate vegetarian menu with lots of choices. Good service. No rush, leisurely lunch.

Most of the dishes we ordered were fine but the steak in the Prestige set menu (£2 surcharge) was very fatty and a bit disappointing.

Consistantly good food, service and atmosphere. Staff are friendly and attentive. Toilets a bit cold, just don't hand around in them! The pork belly is yummy 😉

We frequent Cote in Highgate. Perhaps the staff would reduce talking to each other about their personal lives whilst working behind the bar. There are 2 tables in close proximity and it is disturbing.

Lovely evening once again at Cote Highgate. And credit to the young lady who was serving our section - she offered a Cote bottle of the complementary filtered water to an older lady and the lady said, "don't you have to do that, it's free anyhow so of course it's complementary!" The young waitress was so lovely and handled it very well.

We pop into Highgate Cote at least once a week and always enjoy our time there. We have a few favourites but I always try out the seasonal specials. This time we went for the burgers. Yum.

Imagine is fine rest of year but spoilt our New Years day as was terrible service from beginning to end and starter fine but main couldn't eat.The manager was kind and apologetic at end and appreciated being let off bill.But would have preferred a lovely meal and a positive memory.We often frequent Cote restaurants around London and find the chain good value and tasty and a nice atmosphere. Hope for this branch it was just a bad day!

Our table was ready when we arrived and the food was great. The only reason why we didn’t score 6 is because the waiters/waitresses forgot to bring a couple of drinks that we ordered. We forgive them as it was Xmas eve!

Food was excellent and the service very good! The ambiance was good with the tables an acceptable distance from each other, so you are not disturbed by other diners.

Given table requested. Prompt service and food upto standard butI do wish that Mouldsworth Marine really should be served with crusty bread - please pass that on to Cote

A wonderful meal in warm and friendly restaurant. The champagne substitute was a delicious accompaniment to the mussels and steak frites. And the desserts were to die for

We were given a nice table by the window although it was a little squashed next to a table of 3 very noisy diners. We didn't like our choice of white wine and were pleased that it was changed without question. For a quick supper following a concert in St. Michael's church, it was perfect. We would certainly come again.

Such good value for money. It is my local restaurant and i love it for lunch or dinner, summer on the terrace or cosy inside in the winter.

Very good food and quick and efficient service. There is always a very wide choice of dishes and, as a pesco-vegetarian, there is plenty on offer for me.

Always good food, and the set menus are really good value. Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. My only complaint is that it was very noisy, particularly at this time of the year, and the noise echoes everywhere; but I don't suppose there is much to be done about that.

Lovely food served in all three courses we‘ve had. Tasty starters, great mains and sweet desserts. Would have loved a glass of Rosé but only sold by the bottle, however the Kir Royale made up for it! A tad pricey but well worth it

The ambiance was pleasant, the food was good and so was the service. However, the toilet could have been a little cleaner... it's a restaurant I would recommend to anyone. Thank you.

Always great food & service, good for large groups too

Service was friendly, food was hit and miss. Run out of the choice of three of our party ilof four, second option contained ingredients not listed on the menu which there was an allergy, third option had mud and grit in the salad. Also refused to serve a 125ml glass of wine.

Excellent French food in French feeling surrounds. Would thoroughly recommend. There were four of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed whatever we chose. Will go there again. Overall experience 6

Arrived early before the evening rush. Food was excellent although main courses were slow on arriving. Friendly atmosphere. Can get noisy when busier. Still our favorite local restaurant

We received a warm welcome from the manager and were shown to our table. We made our selections from the early evening menu. Food and drinks arrived, salad starters were delicious. Mains were served with a suitable gap, we all had the chicken breast, a generous portion with roasted vegetables, lovely. Food, drink and service excellent, as usual.

Good service, good food - however the restaurant was half empty and therefore no atmosphere. Emptied out very early too leaving us feeling quite awkward and felt as though we had to leave. Been here many times and never seen it so empty. Shame

Despite a mess up with the booking we enjoyed ourselves. We have been going to Cote for over 5 years once a month. We would not return if we did not like it. 6 of us went for the prestige menu which is very good. The wine is not too expensive by London standards. We will be back in Dec hopefully without any hiccups.

Staff here are always helpful and attentive, but the kitchen was having one of its periodic off nights: both the chicken breast and the venison parmentier were not up to usual standards.

My regular local restaurant for an enjoyable evening as the menus is changing every month, the service is good and staff always friendly. Good atmosphere as well

We chose a busy and noisy evening with kids parties for Hallowen by mistake. Service was slower than usual but food of high standard. Thank you Quandoo for the special offer and bottle of wine.

Often visit this restaurant ;food and service predictably very good and last night no exception. We wanted to take the meal at leisurely pace and they were happy to oblige.

Good service with good food though it took quite a long time to arrive after ordering. Cote can almost always be relied on and is a very useful local restaurant It would be nice if one received some rewards as one used to in times gone by

Food of high standard and quality. On this occasion service was slower than usual. We thought our order had been misplaced but it was rectified immediately.

We arrived at Highgate restaurant last Saturday & my wife & I both had the monthly special menu Haddock with oven potatoes with minted peas. We both agreed that this dish was the best monthly special we had for more than 2 years going to Le Cote. The Highgate Le Cote is a classy restaurant with friendly stall & a great vibe.
