Côte Haywards Heath

Great first night back in Cote Brasserie. Very Busy outside not lots of space inside with loads of distance between tables. Lots of sanitiser being used frequently by staff so felt safe. Food and service excellent as usual. Really glad that the home delivery service is going to continue it was one of the joys of lockdown

Really well done to all at Cote Hayward’s Heath. First day open after 4 months and all very good indeed. Good atmosphere and all well-organised to deal with the restrictions, and the food was pretty good too!

So delighted to see this branch of Cote, reopen. We were able to eat outside & it was perfect in every respect. The standard of customer service was excellent, & the food superb. It was certainly a 5 star experience.

So nice to be back having delicious food with fabulous service! We will be back again soon!

We were very pleased to see the Staff back from furlough and they made us very welcome, They were all wearing the items recommended by the Government and we had a very happy return after the Lock Down. Thanks to you all. Diana and John.

Never had a bad meal in here and have visited for breakfast, lunch and dinner since it’s been open. Good food, excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Cote in Haywards Heath.

Slow, loud and expensive Took over two hours. Staff pleasant but food took so long to come. It was busy and noisy. Food good though. I'm full but not satisfied!

We enjoyed the evening .The food was good , as always . The staff were pleasant , but , although not busy the service was extremely slow . We don't like to be rushed , but we were looking around , waiting to order our food .

Fabulous as always. Food was delicous and service top notch. I would highly recommend the French 75! We will of course be back again and again.

Went for my sons 18th We had Excellent service and the food was lovely. We had two vegetarians in our party and it was nice to be presented with a vegetarian menu. And for the meat eaters the fillet steak just melted in the mouth.

A quiet Thursday lunchtime. Service was good, food was average.

As usual the food was excellent and together with the good service we had from the friendly staff we can’t fault it , and will return very soon .

Good food and good service as always. Good value too. Going back for breakfast later today. Excellent English breakfast with juice and coffee and toast.

We come here quite frequently. It can be too noisy because of the low ceilings, but last night it was say 75% full and conversation was possible. We were treated by a lady who used to be a waitress but seems to have been deservedly promoted. We were seated efficiently and she served our complimentary drinks very quickly. Our main waitress Bobbi was charming, funny and very professional and efficient. Food was all outstanding....delicious calamari, filet steaks with peppercorn sauce, cheese board and a creme brûlée. As well as some beers, a bottle of red and two glasses of the dearer port, it all camein, including service to £177. Not cheap but the quality was well reflected.

Generally ok... crepe at end was disappointing. Nice to get a refund but justification was a little tough. Service was ok but didn’t always sound that genuine... I.e. felt like it came from a script...

My party had a very enjoyable evening. Being a Saturday the Restaurant was virtually full which created plenty of atmosphere. The food and drink was very good and fairly priced. Service was efficient and friendly.

Great steak, service and cleanliness very good. Scallops could have been bigger!

Disappointed with food, we have been several times before and food has been great, we came for a birthday celebration but the pate for starters was watery and sent back and some of our mains was only just warm and my son had a kids sausages and the carrots were raw!

The standard of the food was good and the service at table was attentive but we felt that the waiting time was a little too slow.

An excellent meal enjoyed by all four of us. My Lamb Rump was particularly good. It all got a bit complicated with the bill as we were mixing a la carte with set menus but I thing we got there in the end! As usual, the staff were a delight.

Superb meal, lovely ambience and quality service. We have dined in this restaurant before and been thoroughly delighted with the standard maintained which is excellent. Can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Furthermore, we actively seek out a Cote because it is a byword for quality.

The restaurant was extremely busy as it was mothers day and the staff were doing a great job. The service was slower than normal but that was because of the high level of diners. My wife and i eat at Cotes fairly regularly and there are occasions when there are minor short falls but generally this is one of our Favorite eating houses

The food took a while to come but was excellent and I thought that the set menu was good value with a lot of choice if you want to keep the price down. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff attentive. I would like to go back again and sit someehere else as we were near a table of very noisy people so it was quite difficult to hear conversation on our table. Otherwise a good experience.

Fantastic meal and brilliant service from our waiter Keith. You could see the manager working tirelessly to make sure all customers were given the same excellent service.

Excellent service. Perfect venue for a relaxed good quality meal. Would recommend to any coeliac looking for somewhere with a varied gluten free menu.

As always good food and service, we always wish that noise levels at Haywards Heath could be reduced, maybe some sound absorbing panels in the ceiling?

I love the Restaurant but my salad was much smaller (ans less good things in it)as well as the bread and on thing I lived about cote was the consistency and I really hope it won't start saving on the wrong end.

We enjoyed our meal and thought the early evening set menu was good value. Pleasant surroundings.

Although the food was very good the service was terrible and we had to wait too long between each course and we gave up on the dessert.

Not quite up to the usual standard. We had to wait .....and wait for our starters. Come on. Shape up Cote. Better next time hopefully.

Though it was busy and we didn’t get a table outside which was our preference (bank holiday lovely weather) it was still a pleasure to dine. The staff were friendly and apologetic for the delays. My Poached eggs were forgotten but the staff member quickly rectified and again apologised.

I’ve been coming to Cotes for years with my family. Again can fault anything, food is delicious and service is fantastic, they always go out of the way to make you feel comfortable.

The busiest I have ever seen it. It was fathers day... Very noisy as fully packed restaurant, but also very hot too, which was a bit uncomfortable... Starter arrived very quickly however there was quite a wait for the main course, presumably because it was so busy...

Went to Cote for a business meeting and was placed in a quiet corner as requested. Great food, great service and value for money for a lunchtime feed.

Our first time visit , as soon as we walked in it smelt so good . Very prompt service and lovely atmosphere. We will be back

Tasty food served at good pace in a friendly atmosphere Portion size could have been more generous but that’s a personal preference. Good surroundings, attentive staff and prompt service.

Great welcome; really good service. Lovely food. Complimentary cocktail went down nicely! This branch has the insurmountable problem of a low ceiling and consequently is VERY noisy. A bit pricy but nevertheless a very nice meal out.
