Sea of calm in a time of madness. Excellent food and service. Umbrella bags too. They even set fire to your dessert!

Great service and good food my only reason for not giving top score was that I had to wait sometime to get the bill and then pay.

Overall very good - well presented, tasty food. Only complaint and not raised at time in order not to spoil special occasion- but rare ribeye steak was only tepid in temperature- very rare, which I don’t mind, but had it been cooked rare , it would have been on grill longer and I assume gained more heat!

Food excellent, staff very welcoming, covid restrictions adhered to felt very safe and at ease.

Food for all 4 of us was excellent and service both excellent and friendly. Noise level was a little noisy but that was from a specific table next to us and not something the staff had any control over

Really friendly staff and straight away asked if we had the NHS Covid App to scan our QR code for track and trace. Also saw tables and chairs being wiped down with ant bac between customers. All in all felt very Covid safe! It was a lovely brunch... Food never discounts here! All Cotes have the same acoustic issues as their decor (tiles and marble tables) with no soft furnishings to absorb sound makes even a moderately full restaurant seem very noisy.

Excellent food; professional, courteous and helpful; wonderful experience. We will return!

We had a lovely meal for our daughters birthday. The food was delicious, service was excellent and the staff made her feel special for her birthday. Can’t wait to go again.

As always the staff are very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent once again. We will be back.

We chose to have a quiet meal here to enjoy our pearl wedding anniversary. The reception was very friendly and we were offered tables in different parts of the restaurant. we were very kindly given a celebratery glass of sparkling wine and the staff were exemplary in the way they looked after us. Plenty of space with the right amount of attention. We both chose steak, and they were both very nicely cooked. We had nice sauces and veg side plates, all really well presented. Quantity was bang on, not too much to overfill, so still could enjoy a dessert and glass of port. It kind of felt like an up-market Cafe Rouge. Overall, this is 7/6 stars. Everything was really good, the staff, the food, everything. When we were leaving our table we were again wished a happy anniversary and a different gent took the door for us and said the same. Very nice touches. We will return.

Lovely, friendly staff. There was a guy training who served us and a girl with blonde hair, apologies for lack of names! They were both super professional, checked on us frequently to ensure we had everything we needed and were even happy to take a group photo of us. We were encouraged to take our time and eat at a leisurely pace. The food arrived promptly and was piping hot. Always great value for money and attentive staff.

Lovely food and friendly staff. Felt really well looked after and safe with everything that's going on at the moment.

The staff were excellent but let down by the menu. Only 1 begun choice on gluten free menu which is an uninspiring salad. Not what I expect from a restaurant like Cote that before lick down offered a variety of exciting choices.

Wonderful to be back at Cote. Have only been for evening meals before, first time for brunch which I really enjoyed. As ever, good food, attentive service.

The food and service was fabulous as always. We always enjoy our experience when we eat in the restaurant and our children love it too. The staff are always very caring, helpful and have fun with the kids ( which they love !) We always feel very safe too during this pandemic. Visable cleaning and distancing which is good.

We enjoyed our meal, freshly cooked and nicely served. In view of the fact that the restaurant was not busy we were surprised at having to wait a long time before received our main course. We both said we would go back but hopefully the service would be quicker.

Good food. Pork Belly is my favourite. Sea Bream was beautifully cooked. Our friend had the Fish Parmentier and he thought it was delicious. Lovely professional staff. Good to see Adam again.

We turned up early and with more people than we'd booked for, but it was no problem. A new table was laid and a great meal was had. It's not a 5 star because of a choice I made (Crab Mayonnaise not as crabby as I would like; often the case with crab dishes, and you'd think I'd learn) but it was in all other aspects.

Cote in Haywards Heath is our favourite... the staff are always the best and the food is fab. It is our 2nd year wedding anniversary today and we wanted to celebrate in Cote with our young daughter. We didn’t want to leave! Thanks to all the team there for being their usual fab self

Service was great, food was lovely as usual. Have never had a bad meal at Cote. Missed having my favourite meal which is the mussels can’t wait to have the full menu back as when it does come back we have decided to have date night once a month here. Only issue we had was small portion sizes, came away hungry and had to have a snack later in the evening. Food came out fast and hot though very prompt service.

Love it here - never had a bad meal. In the back room on a busy night a little difficult to hear each other speak but this is mainly due to social distancing and the space between the tables echoing.

We booked for our 10 year wedding anniversary after our plans for a weekend away were postponed due to Covid. I let the restaurant know what we booked for, and we were greeted with congratulations from all the staff and complimentary kir royales, lovely touch. Staff were very attentive and food was amazing.
