Côte Haywards Heath

Excellent friendly service and the food is just superb. It was our 43rd anniversary so we pushed the boat out a bit. The scallops and lamb were wonderful and of course the crème caramel, as usual, was out of this world.

Absolutely excellent from beginning to end! Great service and good food. The atmosphere was very easy too and great choice of food on the menus.

A few problems with the website confirmation as it had changed the time of my booking. I booked for 20.00 but it came back confirming 19.00

Great atmosphere. Friendly attentive staff. Excellent lamb loin chops special with ratatouille. A different take profiteroles filled with vanilla ice cream topped with hazelnuts and sauce and a coffee to follow. Contented diners!

Very disappointing meal. Watery and very peppery french onion soup, a small plate of overcooked duck and after being given a jug less than half full of sauce for my dessert, when I asked for more I was charged for it. The only saving grace was the lovely waitress who served us.

Excellent meal with excellent service in a lovely, warm and comfortable restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to celebrate my husband's birthday and will definitely be returning. Many thanks.

The welcome is always good, they make you feel you matter, like opening the door when you come in. The food is good too and competitively priced.

Table was ready when we arrived. As always a really nice meal steak cooked as ordered. Attentive service but not intrusive. Good gluten free options

I visit Cote Brasserie fairly regularly and I am always very happy with the quality and choice of the food. The service and ambience makes it a great place to dine with friends.

Good service and food was very tasty. I especially liked the apple crumble and my wife liked the chocolate pot - sparkling wine rather expensive at £6. 30 ech.

The desert menu is disappointing always the same. The desert for April boring. I ordered new potatoes the skins were tough. Service was generally good.

Sadly our waiter was not on the ball. My veal was undercooked, I should have sent it back. Not our best experience at Cote, hope it is better next time.

Cote Brasserie - the best of the restaurant chains. In Haywards Heath branch, good service, warm welcome and high quality freshly cooked breakfast. Excellent fruit juice, and helpful flexibility with menu items. The 'formule' offer is pod value. Only the service charge added to all bills annoys. One point docked for this. When will they listen?

The waitresses were very helpful and even though Cote was busy they always had time to smile and check all OK. The seafood meal and the beef bourgignone were delicious and so was the cheeseboard. The portions were great. I would definitely come back for a special occasion.

Consistently good quality and service. Decor also reflects thought and taste. However, the " hot ' breakfasts looked and tasted as if they has been under a hot plate for some time.

Great new menu , food quality and value was excellent. Service was slow , but it was a busy Sunday . Try the new Lamb dish!

An excellent meal, as always. The service is good, as well. Will be going back more often. The restaurant has a good situation and parking is easy.

Nice food. Friendly and efficient service. Set menu at very reasonable price = enjoyable evening. Two vegetarians in our group thought the vegi options could be a lot more interesting, and they're sick of goat's cheese!

I love this restaurant. It has a nice atmosphere. It's great for meals out with family and friends and also just couples. There are some really nice tables for 2 near the bar. You are not too close to other people. The food is great. Lots to chose from depending on what you fancy and they have monthly specials. Above all the staff are excellent here. Really attentive.

Good value 'formule' breakfast, with vegetarian choices and friendly service. Coffee could have been hotter! A good venue to meet up with friends or family.

We ate from the lunch menu which offers a wide range of dishes. This menu is very competively priced and, as always, the food was excellent. Staff were very pleasant, although service was a bit slower than usual as the restaurant was busy, but this was not a major problem.

Good Service, fanatastic cuisine, pleasant surrounding, great value for money, I would highly recommend to anyone. I am looking forward already to my next visit to try out more from the menu.

Good food but long wait for both courses. Coffee served before the puds - not right. Answered the usual "was everything OK" but clearly the waitress was not interested in our rresponses.

Usual high standard of food and from cotes which I frequently visit although first time at haywards Heath. Staff usually discreet and professional however one staff member I would describe as less professional than I would expect. Food and wine tip top though so 4 scored. Usually it's a 6 at my local Côte restaurant.

Lovely lunch sat outside in comfortable seating area. Outside heaters were on to take the chill off if sat in the shade and blankets were provided - a nice touch. Delicious 3 course meal with plenty to choice from on the lunchtime menu. Staff very efficient and attentive as usual.

Great food, atmosphere and service as always. There's a reason we keep going back. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant:) we will be booking again soon!

Great place and amazingly friendly staff :) Everyone should visit. The food is lovely full of flavours. The resistant atmosphere is also very welcoming so it's a must if you in Haywards Heath....

All good. Good food, freshly cooked pleasant staff. The restaurant is always very clean & well cared for. Would prefer for tip not to be included in the price.

Always a popular venue but doesn't affect the food or service. Treated as if you are the only people in the restaurant. Atmosphere and environment outstanding x

Good service and food up to usual Côte standard. Nice buzzy atmosphere and offered a good choice of tables. Restaurant recommended wine was also good.

We had a lovely meal for Mother's Day on Friday 23rd as neither my sister or I could see Mother on the actual day. Everything was great and staff as always very nice - they reserved the last Duck in case my mother wanted it (her favourite) for which we were most grateful. We had an extra bottle of champagne added to our bill by mistake! There was some confusion as the one we had ordered wasn't chilled - but this was rectified. We look forward to eating at Cote again - thank you!

Food was excellent but the service was very slow. I think that the restaurant was just much busier than the staff expected for a Monday evening, they seemed under-staffed. Very friendly service and great food but lack of care and attention on this visit.

As usual, the food was excellent as was the service. We ate from the shorter menu, which still had a good variety and superb value for money.

Service a little slow but helpful and friendly staff. Excellent food nice bottle of wine give as complimentary gift as the lunch was a birthday treat for adult daughter in wheel chair.

Great friendly service and good food. The staff were very good and the food was great, not to busy with time to enjoy the food.

Restaurant OK, however we were given the £10.95 set menu on a Saturday night, only to be told after placing our order that it was for Monday to Friday only! We then ordered two main courses without starters ! The service from the staff was good,but the meals were too small,and certainly not worth the money - better value in Wetherspoons and you wouldn't come out hungry! Wine overpriced too! I wouldn't recommend it!
