Good food but too much attention of pouring wine etc., Excellent table service and food cooked as requested perfectly. Prices as good as anywhere else. Did not like service charge being added but when requested you took it off instantly.(12-5% too much).

The food was very poor, the Camembert starter didn't have enough cheese to taste and the onion relish was overwhelming, the cod gouging were wet and tasteless and none of the meals had any accompanying vegetables. The apples crumble tasted like a mass produced frozen dessert. The service was good and the house wine was very nice.

Food was great, as always. Unfortunately the service was quite badly lacking - enough for an adjustment to the bill. However, the food is good enough to keep us coming back!

The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful! The food is excellent. Don't miss the French Onion soup. Highly recommended and have visited several times!

Went here with my family for my birthday and had a lovely evening. The quality of the food was excellent. Would definitely go back again.

The food was great , best Breton chicken ever. All staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was lively. Had the usual bottle of white wine from Saumur (04) which was perfect with the meal.

Overall a very enjoyable meal with the family, and the waitress was excellent (apart from 1. below) However, a couple of points. 1. After ordering a class of white wine the waitress came back to say they didn't have a cold one, we we like a warm one with ice !!!! 2. Service a little slow.

I absolutely love this restaurant; fantastic service, the food is superb! This was my birthday meal and we received complimentary Kir Royales on arrival through their rewards scheme, lovely touch. Would definitely recommend!

As usual a good 'welcome', Cote is a welcome addition to our town, consistently excellent food and service. This recent visit was going well until one of our main course, a minor problem was dealt with very generously. We will be back.

We always have good food, reasonably priced and the service is attentive but not in your face. Staff very accomodating. We are there often and will be back.

We were a bit disappointed after a good visit there a few weeks ago. The service seemed rushed even though the restaurant was not full and we were not in a hurry. The food was so-so, and not good value at the prices charged. Not much meat in the beef dish we ordered. Somehow we didn't enjoy our evening as we had hoped, and I doubt if we will return.

cote in haywards heath is relatively new and is a very nice environment, great food and service, no complaints. my party of 5 had the set lunch which was good value.

Food was great, arrived promptly and looked very appetizing. The service was of a very high standard. Attentive but not intrusive. Good varied, menu choice. Friendly and polite team.

We find Cote to offer a real authentic taste of quality French cooking at an affordable price. The wine list is well constructed and provides a great choice for all budgets.

third visit, just one problem the acoustics are terrible when the restaurant is busy, difficult to hear people you are with, food OK, service OK, although they automatically add 12.5 % service charge, I prefer to judge the tip

We only rated Cote Haywards Heath a 4 because out of a party of 4, one steak had to be returned and another steak was not a sirloin but was a ribeye which wasn't what we ordered. Shame really as we do like this restaurant and the staff were exceptionally good in the circumstances and tried their utmost to appease us. Which they did. Fabulous staff in a usually really good restaurant - so today a bit of a hiccup - but it won't stop us trying again on another occasion.

Great round table by the entrance, lovely attentive waitress Georgi and food of starter, main course and dessert of very good quality. Also unusual to see a wine list made up exclusively of French wines only.

As usual the lunch menu is good food and great value with service being exceptional. It's a pity that the complementary water is never chilled, but other than that it's a lovely place to lunch.

Excellent service . Delicious food . I will definitely go again for an evening meal . My husband loved it too and we have different tastes . Their breakfasts are really tasty . High standard all round .

As usual a pleasant visit and the April specials of Scallops and Lamb Chops were a delight. Staff welcoming, and efficient. This is now the popular dining experience in Haywards Heath for those who appreciate good food. Itis very noisy though, and acoustic tiles might make a difference.

Very disappointing meal. Watery and very peppery french onion soup, a small plate of overcooked duck and after being given a jug less than half full of sauce for my dessert, when I asked for more I was charged for it. The only saving grace was the lovely waitress who served us.

A few problems with the website confirmation as it had changed the time of my booking. I booked for 20.00 but it came back confirming 19.00
