Sat in the restaurant for my wife's 40th Birthday meal, a rare meal out without child and a first visit cote brasserie. Staff and food very nice but the wait between starters and main of 50 minutes was a little much, on the verge of asking if it had been lost somewhere, but then they appeared and the waitress apologised for the wait and the restaurant wasn't even near capacity. At one point, one of the chefs came up to serve food, short staffed? I think so. In addition the couple next to us arrived after us, had their starters after us and mains before us, yet had to send a steak back due to being 'inedible'. The easiest solution was to not pay the 'optional service charge' Not the greatest first impression....

Excellent meal, great atmosphere would recommend to friends good value for money . Would definitely book again staff very attentive and polite checking all ok with us

Good food, nice atmosphere & the waiting staff are excellent. Lovely warm evening so we were able to have a table outside which added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Very good gluten free options.

It was my birthday - lovely free drinks arrived without a word from waiter. He was obsequious (sp?) and the staff looked run off their feet. Good food though

Always a friendly warm atmosphere, where the staff go out of their way to be helpful, plus excellent food and wines for a sensible price.

My wife and I visited the restaurant on a Friday evening. It was very busy, but the service was very good. The food was excellent, and not bad value. As in all such restaurants, the drinks are expensive.

Great service and good food. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. Thank you for a very enjoyable lunch. We will return on another occasion at this establishment.

Arrived at 6.30pm. Not too busy. Service & food were very good. As it got busier the noise element was quite loud & service slowed down. Overall food quality very good, enjoyable night. We thought the added 12% service charge a bit steep on a small table of 4, so declined & offered a tip to waitress that served us. We will go back again as good quality always good. Best to pick a time when not so busy tho for better service & being able to hear one another talk. !!

food was very good, service was also good though the complementary kir royales were included on the bill and we had to draw the staff's attention to that. All dealt with efficiently and pleasantly.

Waiting personel were very efficient and friendly. Food was hot and well presented but lacking a little in taste. Lack of choice of beers or ciders if you don't drink wine or lager.

Great authentic French food at prices that are affordable to all. They offer a 'Parisian' style Steak Frites for £10.95 which has to be a real bargain.

Great vibe on a buzzy Friday night, excellent service and perfect brasserie food! Côte is by far the best restaurant in Haywards Heath and I highly recommend it.

Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly service and good food. Fresh mint tea a little expensive considering it's just a sprig of mint in hot water! Enjoyed our complimentary Kir Royale!

Lovely food! service tailed off a little towards end of night - think our waiter had clocked off and no one took over our table!

As usual the service and food was excellent. We all enjoyed the complimentary Kir Royal. Really appreciated the aircon with the temperature in the high twenties.

Good food and service. Never have agreed with the addition of the optional 12.5% service charge. Why don't they just alter their prices to reflect a decent salary for their staff rather than relying on tips?

All the staff were friendly and efficient. There was a lively atmosphere in the restaurant and the food was great, especially the flaming Grand Marnier Crepe!

We visited Cote Brasserie,in the Broadway,Haywards Heath,West Sussex for lunch. On our arrival we greeted by a member of staff and selected our own table. The service and food were excellent.

The new vegetarian menu was excellent. Please promote it more as we had to ask.... Between the 6 of us we tried everything! Non vegetarian customers will also love it;)

Duck a little overdone. Some nonsense about insistence of the local council officer! Otherwise, perfect as always. Serve good, asparagus great, dessert wonderful. Bye for now

Cote - Haywards Heath. I always look forward to dining at Cote. Great food, service and ambience, makes for a lovely lunch and dinner with friends.

Great service by very friendly and helpful staff, the food is excellent with generous portions, don't miss the creme brulee or chocolate mousse which are equally scrummy!

Slow to greet and show to table Duck was cold and returned to kitchen twice, though we appreciated we were not charged for this !

Haywards Heath is my favourite Côte restaurant. The staff are always friendly and the food is great. I particularly like the veggie breakfast and the formule deal.

Most enjoyable and good value. Four of us ate a variety of dishes all of which were of good quality. We have eaten at Côte Brasserie on quite a few occasions and except for once in May we have always enjoyed the food.

Excellent high quality and plenty of choice of food and drinks. Efficient friendly staff. Highly recommend. This restaurant never disappoints. Look forward to returning very soon!

Very attentive staff without being too intrusive, also good food. Would be able to recommend to anyone without hesitation. The restaurant also has a very good ambience.

Slow service. Waitress was lovely though. Ordered Salmon with Hollandaise sauce ( was more like a butter) and had a strange taste. Also ordered 'pavlova' ( filled meringue) was actually fruit in a glass with a meringue on top, more like an Eton mess, so slightly disappointing

Cant fault the food but considering there was only about 16 customers it took a very long time to receive the wine we had ordered and we had a long wait to order food.

One of my favourite go-to restaurants. The staff are always friendly and attentive. The food is superb, but the food was a little slow to appear on this occassion. I'll be going back though :)

Food was great, but the evening was let down by slow service. We waited 15 minutes before our drinks order taken. This is too long to have to wait. Service not as attentive as usual.

Food was like a neighbourhood restaurant in France - not fancy, just tasted good. Good selection of wine, and friendly and efficient service. Well worth a visit.
